HP Office Jet 8600 with a MacBook Air, when I scan a document to a page it scans and prints in portrait mode, but when I save it, it appears like landscape on portrait paper

It's the solution I found, that it is from Robb92014:

"Same problem here. The solution is easy - just use preview when you use the HP 8600 to analyze. Just put your documents to be scanned on the charger and the Preview/file/import to officejet pro 8600. A screen then you can only toggle switch various odds & ends, such as PDF and TIFF. Save all scans in a single document; duplex; etc.

  • I can print in "Portrait" mode but not in "Landscape" mode! " Help!

Printer prints documents in Portrait mode, but not in the landscape!

    Hello Wayne,

I recommend to remove the printer and reinsert.

    To do this:

    1. Detach the printer from the PC.
    2. Uninstall the printer from the PC driver.
    3. Re-install the printer driver.
    4. Reinstall the printer.

  • Pages of the printed document & portrait or landscape

I have a Pages document that seems confused about its portrait/landscape format. It looks like landscape on the screen (that's what I want), but it prints to the portrait, cut pieces. If I look at the document formatting, portrait mode is ticked (checked)!

If I change the formatting for the landscape, the document is changed to resemble portrait.

Any ideas of what could be the cause? Or what I could do to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Pages Version 5.6.1

    OS X El Capitan 10.11.1

Portrait/landscape is an orientation in the printer dialog box not a form.

Portrait is the right feed. The landscape is turned by 90 °.

You can have a wide portrait and a narrow landscape.

Just get agree with your format paper and how it feeds into the printer. Check the configuration of the printing paper size is actually higher than it is wide.

Seems like you should have a set of size A4/Letter mode top landscape (rotation).

There are mistakes occasional in the printer drivers with the latest versions of Mac OS x. try to download the latest driver for your printer and see if that solves it.

  • Creating page 2 distributed in portrait mode...

I intend to make my folio only in portrait mode. I noticed in the various digital publications (such as Fast Company) ads that cover what would constitute a "spread" in the world of print.

That's my hypothesis for this the 'and' must be provided either put in two different files. A single file would have the left side of the page and the other the right side of the page (splice perfect of course).

They are uploaded as separate files, and then once the folio is created the end-user just drag on the left hand of the spread to the right side. They appear as pages sepeate in quick view. Repeat for 3 page 4 page portrait alone double etc...

I would also like to do a spread for a story lead. I guess that take this approach (mentioned above) and the hand droite/deuxieme page of the spread would be linked to the document that includes the full editorial.

Am I missing something? Or am I wrong in my perception of how to create these spreads only portrait

In other words, I thought to create gaps is just to place an image (built in 1280 x 720) in a text box scrolling on a page of unique portrait and getting the hang of the user in a horizontal direction only, and then they can slide down to read the full editorial.

Sorry if this sounds elementary, but I just want to check my hypothesis on how his front poses outside and you want to tell my advertisers once they decide to provide a 2 page spread ad for the first time as many of them are used to create traditonal print spreads.

    Thanks in advance.

Your reflection is good. Your best approach is to divide it into two pages and upload them as separate articles. If aligned well, from the point of view of the reader, it looks like a double page during playback.

Put in a floating frame is problematic because the user will be unable to call horiziontally to the next article. The floating framework will catch this horizontal movement and it allows to scroll the content inside the frame.

  • PDF file always opens in portrait mode?

    Hello

Some of my users have found that a problem with the new version of adobe reader x us just installed (10.1.2). I've looked everywhere on the web but cannot find anything that's why I'm here.

A document always opens portrait also when it is registered in the landscape. When you print a document using the word landscape for pdf, and then by opening the pdf file, it is in portrait mode.

I couldn't find the option in the menu to open the document automatically in the format that it's, unfortunately this force portrait.

    Dear readers,

I found a solution to this problem. Users print using PrimoPDF and when printing a popup appears and settings are configured standard for print and need to be put on the screen. With the old version of Adobe Reader 9.x impression works it, but it doesn't work with the new version. No problem Adobe Reader only this setting are to be found.

  • Absent portrait mode on iPhone 7plus?

all the hype online for 'portrait' mode has been one of the main reasons that I opted for the more 7...

However, the phone doesn't have this mode! Yes I use the latest version of iOS.

I checked phones in the Apple Store and they did not either portrait mode.

IT seems that they only in the States and not the Canada. Is there a reason for this?

Can't find an answer anywhere as if nobody noticed?

    Help!

    Hello

Portrait mode will be made available for iPhone 7 more users via a free software upgrade, later this year.

This has not yet been published anywhere as a public release.

  • Portrait mode on iPhone 7 +.

Received my new 7 + yesterday and tried to find a way to take those portrait photos when the background is blurry.

I found some tutorials and it just says to drag in portrait mode. My phone/camera doesn't have this option. I have the latest iOS update. Is there something that I need to activate?

You are referring to the effect of depth of field.  This effect will be available with iOS 10.1, which is currently not quite yet.

  • Photos of portrait Mode appears.

Come to find out that most of the photos imported into iPhoto photos in Portrait Mode are not displayed. There is the photo frame containing a triangle with exclamation point. It appears to be too few is not present in Landscape Mode. Double clicking will open correctly to the top of the photograph.

I found that by selecting the 'photograph' and turning to the left and then turn in a clockwise direction, the photograph shows correctly. I assume that these photographs were shot in iPhoto, after having been imported from the camera. I can only assume that data was transferred incorrectly when the iPhoto library has been changed to Photos.

Has anyone else seen this and y at - it a simple cure without having to go through the lot manually (I realize it will be faster select all the defective and just do the nozzle anti-clockwise to the right once but I already found some photo frames to be empty, so I still have to compare with the iPhoto library)?

    Thank you

    TY

No - you can do it in large amounts (up to about 1000 images) - How do I rebuild the thumbnails in a photo library

I need a double Ipad case to hold TWO IPADS in PORTRAIT mode

    I found this one:

    found this thread:

but no one in the thread has heard no more!

How is that possible? With everyone using multiple monitors these days watching several documents (i.e. e-mail on a single monitor, internet on another monitor, etc.), how no one would put 2 Ipads next? It's amazing

  • IPhone 6 of can no longer turn backwards in portrait mode?

Sometimes when I have Facetime/Skype and that my battery is low, I'll plug in it, but I can't seem to get the phone to turn on its head so that I can it lean against something and I have the thread at the top. It runs in landscape mode, no problem, but simply refuses to go an extra step.

    isn't this possible?

My iPhone does not display photos in portrait mode when it is turned upside down.

So I suspect FaceTime doesn't work in portrait upside down either.

  • Display behavior incorrectly on the second screen in portrait mode?

I use a graphics card from Nvidia GeForce 9400GT with two monitors (the two resolution 1600 x 1200). When the second monitor is in portrait mode, the contents of the window of Firefox are not correctly. This problem does not always occur, but when it does it persists as long as the computer is running (that is, between stops). The dysfunction of graph is displayed when the window is moved laterally, which case the contents don't follow the window correctly. This occurs if the "Show while dragging the content" is enabled or disabled.

    Try turning off hardware acceleration.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

I have a printer 5532 Envy which is used by an Apple MacBook 2.0, HP DV 6500 and several mobile devices.  To save on printer ink, I thought printing in draft mode called for me.  As far as I know, there's no option to make the printing quality does change on a print screen.  Draft Mode is available for the 5532 desire and if so, how do I change?

    Aardvark1,

Thank you for responding.  I thought my question would have got lost

  • Is it possible to run splitview with two-mode applications landscape on iPad pro in portrait mode?

    Hello

Is it possible to run splitview so that both applications are in landscape mode, while now the iPad in portrait mode?

So basically, instead of apps side by side, it would be top apps down.

I use goodreader to watch a video while surfing the web on safari. But when he was knocked down by side there are a lot of realestate lost on the side of the video.

    see you soon

Unfortunately not. If I was a Pro too much it would be my favorite. Try using the comments link to suggest to Apple.

  • HP 4520: hp 4520 do not print in draft mode on my mac os 10.9

Using mac OS 10.9 Maverick, my draft mode printing does not work, all the prints are full on black background instead (which is a lot of ink used).   I followed all the posts on this subject so far and none has solved the problem.  I have the latest software and printer drivers, and I wonder if it is can be corrected or a lost cause?

Thank you very much for the help, but it still does not work properly.  The project option is available as before, but the printer continues to print in normal mode, when I chose the mode of economy.

I would say that my computer is an iMac 2009 with a BONE that has been improved over the years and was the largest machine with no problems, so I should not complain about a little thing like that... but thanks anyway!
