Print protect a picture?

Hello

I was wondering (and desperately hoping) there is a way to protect print an image...  Every year I photograph portraits of student for a chain of dance studios, and they asked me to provide a large number of JPEG files at these sessions so that they can create a slideshow to show for their end of year concert.  I hesitate to give them the files as they may of course be reproduced.  (I also think that adding a watermark great although the image would look pretty terrible upward on the big screen).  Is there a way to stop any printing capability (and possibly a copy) on an image file?

Thanks for your help!

There is no real way to copy protect your images, but instead offer them a contract stipulating the exact terms of use and any limitations. Ask the studio to sign the contract before delivery.

Good luck

  • Changing the default settings for printing in Office Picture Manager

Anyone know how to change the default setting for printing in Office Picture Manager?

I have a user who clams that when they try photo printing settings in Office Picture Manager has been configured to print bac2 and paper 4 x 6.  Now when it prints, it must use the drop-down list boxes to tell it to print from bac2 and paper 4 x 6.
I changed the default settings of the printer to print from the bac2 and use paper 4 x 6, but they must still use the drop-down list boxes in Picture Manager.
    Thank you!

Although I maded the changes to the properties of the Windows printer I had to do that to solve the problem.

    To solve the problem:

    1. once in the print of the image window there is a link 'Options '.... "at the bottom right.

    2. once it's a click a print settings window that opens there. You will need to click on the link 'printer properties '.

    3. now the printer Document Properties window appears. Change of Source paper and media here.

    4. click on the OK button and now it's good to go.

  • Just installed CD player. Now I can't print pdf files without disabling Protected Mode.  Anyway to adjust/difficulty so I can print protected-mode?

Just installed CD player. Now I can't print pdf files without disabling Protected Mode.  Anyway to adjust/difficulty so I can print protected-mode?

Protected mode can be "a very important part of their security features", but what's the point if the product does not work?

If has been like that since the introduction of Safe_mode in drive X.  Reader, crashes, hangs, cale, cannot print and various other symptoms.

I recommended to disable Safe_mode for a very long time, and even Adobe support staff do often the same here in the forum.

There is absolutely no advantage whatsoever to keep protected Mode enabled.  (Although I personally have never had no problems [with protected Mode on] on any of my Windows systems.)

  • How can I disable the cartridge on my HP officejet printer protection 8600?

    Hello

I read that the officejet 8600 has a cartridge protection feature that can be disabled through the Toolbox. I have been through all the settings in the printer of his auto tools and can not find, I also have trawled through all kinds of HP stuff on my computer and cannot find any protection tool box or cartridge feature.

It's one of the links, I'm referring too.

But has met several items similar to this on the net. If someone out there can give me a step by step method to achieve this goal, I will be eternally grateful.

    Thanks in advance.

Is your printer still under warranty? You can check with the tool of warranty HP here.

If this printer is connected over the network, you can enter the printer's IP address in your browser and change the settings there.  You can find the IP address of the printer from the Control Panel, click on the wireless icon.

This disables the marking cartridge so that they cannot be used in another printer, that it does not print with another printer that have already been marked cartridges.  From the web page: "feature allows you to mark all the authentic HP used in your printer cartridges so that they cannot be used in any other printer. If someone tries to use your cartridge protected in another printer, use of the cartridge will be blocked and they will be that it can be used in the original printer. »

  • Printer HP Officejet Pro 8100 - envelope to print with a picture

    Hello-

I try to print an envelope with a picture on it #10.  I can print a regular envelope using Mailings > envelopes.

I use mailings > envelopes > add to the Document to print the envelope with the picture on it, but I get a paper size mismatch error.  Is it going to be possible, or do I have to order labels?

    See screenshot below:

    Hi @jbald,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I recommend that you try to print an envelope with another application (program), to see if MS Word 10 is at the origin of the problem. For example, Apache, OpenOffice.

I mentioned that, if the solutions above does not solve the problem. You will need to contact the developer of the application for assistance.

The issue is not with the printer because it prints correctly ordinary envelopes.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I can't wait to hear strings attached good luck!

In your toolbar left click... Print... Print / Next...

Now you should see the selection of the photo screen
the photo printing wizard with the 4 pix selected.

Left click... ... Left click... "Print options".
and choose the Type of paper and quality parameters.

Left click... Next... now you should be on the layout
Screen.   Scroll and select... 3.5 x 5 cut
prints cropped and rotation to fit.

The 4 different pix should appear on the print template.

Click next and your pix should start printing.

    Hello again Hp-mike

OK thanks for the updated information, it helps eliminate the possibilities. I would like you to try is to print a photo that you have visited (those that are red), but I want that you print on normal paper. If necessary (will be grainy) and Red isn't important when you print on photo paper, I would like you to try another package of HP Premium Photo paper and see if the results are different. I'm trying to rule out a problem with paper photo here.

Please re-post with the results. Thanks again for your ad on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
