print quality settings

Hi, how you can adjust the print quality settings, as well as set black and white printing as thepreferred option? tX!

Hi EricEric,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I understand you want to learn how to set specific print options when using your HP printer.

You don't mention what HP printer you have and the operating system that you use why I included it two documents for you. Changing the settings to print in Windows 8 and change the settings for printing from Mac OS X.  If you need additional assistance, please make sure you include the HP printer you have, what operating system you use and how the printer is connected.

Thank you.

  • I've lost the ability to change on my C7280 print quality settings in Mac OSX10.6

For a reason unknown to me, I am more able to change the print quality settings when you try to print the pages in Safari and other applications.  "Print quality" does appear in the options drop-down list, but when I select it, the menu closes and the selected option is all that was selected before.  I reset my printer, but that has not solved the problem.  Any suggestions?

    Oh, that's strange.

First of all, make sure that your Mac is updated.  Run software: over and over until that there is no more.

    Restart your Mac.

    Now let's fix the permissions:

Finder > Applications > utilities > disk utility.

Select your Macintosh HD on the left, then click on the button "Repair disk permissions" and let it go to work.

  • Can I change my 8600 more print quality settings in a framework between the project and normal

    Officepro 8600 more

    Windows 7 32 bit

How can I print 'between' projects and normal settings?

I'm sorry you say crhfool, but there is no option between the 'Project' and 'Normal' on the 8600. The three main choices that you are 'Project', 'Normal' and 'Best '. They determine the density of 'points' by your inkjet printer, and the printer will always default to the setting chosen.

I have HP officejet Pro 8600.  When sending e-mail using eprint.

    (1) how to configure it to send to the printer and print using lower quality (project) in color or B & W?

    (2) is there a possibility to limit the pages # to print?  (incase didn't realize an email or attachment is very long), as a stop-gap protection?

    Thank you!

Hi there, if you use the ePrint service by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address of printers is not a way to set print quality settings. However if you print from a smartphone or tablet, you can set the quality of the individual print jobs by downloading and using the application mobile ePrint. • Print to PDF quality settings does more (Photoshop CC 2015)

    Hello!

For years I used print to PDF to get the PDF versions of my PSD files with markers printing on them. After a recent update, none of my pre-set parameters (high quality, print quality, oversized, etc.) seem to work at all. The same PSD files that I made a PDF of in the past now print to a PDF version blurred. Did someone else wrong with cela, and are there any suggestions to fix this?

    Thank you in advance.

I'm working my okay.  This is a screenshot of a police tiny zoomed as much as possible with Acrobat Pro DC.  Same thing with a finely detailed vector graphic, I have included.  Exportred of high quality printing.  I'd be inclined to try a reset preference.

  • HP Photosmart C7280 All In one print quality

We have the HP 7280.  It is about 2 years.  So far, we have had no problems with it.  We print with 2 computers separated by a router.  A computer has vista and the other windows 7.  This was not a problem using 2 different operating systems.  We downloaded on 03/13 updates for the printer and install.  We don't use HP ink, but it is of good quality and have not had any problems with the ink in the past.  We changed the cartridges with no result.  Is HP advanced glossy, 4 X 6 photo paper photo paper mil 10.5.  It is about 6-8 months, stored in the box in a desk drawer.  The problem is the impression in the dark pictures.  We have not been able to reduce the print quality.  No idea what this would cause.  The paper is set for this brand and the quality of the paper.  Once more, we used it in the past without problem.  Any ideas?  Please let me know.  Thank you.

    Hello Booberry66,

What you can try is to find the ink to use settings in the driver. If they are there, not with all the models and are trying to address the use of ink. It's the only thing that you can try.

It has worked in the past is possible, but still not be sure about that. Sometimes, the problem with ink HP no is that quality is not constant. And it could just be a lot of poor ink. Now I download the driver for this device and I'll post a screenshot of the setting screen, if I can find it.

  • DeskJet 3050 J611n print quality project to save ink

    DeskJet 3050 J611n.

seems to have a very simple choice for the print settings in the printer properties. How do I change print quality of presetting of the premium for quality project that uses less ink per page?

I don't need the full quality print every time and it is a waste of ink.

Ditto paper waste: there is no setting for duplex printing automatic option?

    appreciate any thoughts on this

    Thank you

I don't have a Vista machine handy to check, but in general settings don't 'stick' in Windows if done from an application but do when made from the Printers folder.  Try to go into the printers, right click on the Deskjet 3050, folder select Printing Options, choose what you like draft mode, apply, OK.

  • OfficeJet 6700 Premium - how to set the default print quality of 'normal' of the "draft."

    Hello

    Thank you for your help.

    I have a printer/all-in-one Officejet 6700 Premium.

Most of the documents that I print is for internal purposes, so "Draft" quality is sufficient.

The default factory on the print quality setting is 'Normal '. I know how manually enter and restore the "draft", but I'd rather have the defaultproject, so I have to reset it manually each time.

I could not find how to permanently fix the draft quality defect.

Again, thank you for your help.

    George Mathis

    Thanks George,

which is fully answering my question indeed

Please follow the steps below to change the quality of the printer:

    1. Click the Start button.
    2. In the menu, click devices and printers.
    3. Right click on the HP Officejet 6700 icon.
    4. Click Printing Preferences.
    5. Enter the tab paper / quality .
    6. Select the project in the area of quality parameters.
    7. Click OK to save the settings.

Now any future printing will be in draft quality.

    Kind regards

  • Color LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw: bad Color Laserjet Pro 200 M251nw print quality

    Hello

I've owned the above printer for 1 month and for the first two weeks, it worked fine. On his return from a week leave. When I now print the image resembles what I can only describe as if someone has dribbled water down causing the toners to face each other.  I cleaned and followed all the troubleshooting of things without success. I also checked the toner drums and they appear fine. Any help would be appreciated as I now seem to have a printer expensive usless

    Thank you

    Alan

    Hi @Al24,

I read your post and see that when printing now, the image looks as if someone has dribbled water down causing him the toners to face each other. I will definitely do my best to help you.

    You use Genuine HP Toner?
What are the levels of toner?

Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

    Run the printer calibration.
On the configuration of the system key touch printer, print quality, color calibration calibrate now.

Print a diagnostic Page to see if you have the same results. Trying to determine if it is a hardware or software problem.

Go to Setup, reports, arrow down and select diagnostic report.

I have a document with several steps to run a clean and check the settings of the printer driver.

    Troubleshooting print quality problems.

Make sure the paper type is selected and no paper said.

Check if the drum unit for damage:

    1. remove the cartridge of toner product and check that the tape has been removed.
    2. check the memory chip for damage.
3 examine the surface of the imaging drum on the bottom of the toner cartridge.
CAUTION: Do not touch the roller (Imaging drum) on the bottom of the cartridge.

His fingerprints on the imaging drum can cause print quality problems.
    4. If you see the scratches, fingerprints, toner or other damage on the imaging drum, replace the toner.
    5. If the imaging drum does not appear to be damaged, rock the toner cartridge gently several times and reinstall it. Print a few pages to see if the problem is resolved.

The test pages come out the same?

What kind of paper do you use?

If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the "Thumbs up" button below.

If there is anything else I can help you, let me know. Thank you.

  • C410a Photosmart print quality

The quality of the printed more than 4 X 6 jpg images have unparalleled picture quality.  Each pass of the print head renders a slightly different picture which is very visible in the pictures with dark backgrounds.  The printer seems to be in harmony with the alignment utility and the «diagnostic print quality report»  The latest software and drivers for MAC OS X 10.8 are installed.  When you print images larger, there is a hesitation of the print head between each of the print head.  Examining the 4 X 6 prints with a magnifying glass does not reveal the failure even on small images.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was printing directly from the Lightroom software.  The problem has been fixed by changing the settings in the print dialog that appear after clicking on the button "print" in lightroom.  Under "Media and quality", change the type of media affecting the type of photo paper you are using.  Then set the 'quality' for the 'best '.  Good impression to everyone!

  • How can I change the print quality of 72 dpi and 300 dpi?

When I try to print the image from my library on my printer fate at very low resolution. There is nothing wong with the printer - if I use another program to print the results are perfect. How can I change the resolution settings in Windows 7?

    Hello Robin,.

Although some applications allow you to change the settings for printing (as parameters of the screen), print quality is generally a function of the properties of the printer. Go to the Control Panel, select devices and printers, then select the printer in question. Right-click on the printer, select Properties, and then look for quality printing or the DPI settings page to change the resolution of your default printer. Once the resolution was increased, Windows will display the new default setting.

Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards

    1. from the application used to print, click the file menu and select print. The print window is displayed.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized: click the blue triangle next to the product model to see all available parameters.

    2. to access the color options, click in the area of selection below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    3. Select Type/quality paper in the menu drop down and set the options for quality by your needs.

You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.
