If the image is placed inside a box, be sure to mark the icon full width in the top menu.

Make sure that scaling to fit is indicated in the section filling also.

  • Problem of image quality when you print the brochure in PDF format

    Hello!

I searched the whole web, trying to find a solution for my problem, but I couldn't find anything...

I created a vertical page A5 document in InDesign CS6, filled with high quality photos. Now, I want to print in a brochure (in PDF format) in order to save it and print it in a professional facility.

The problem is when I do this, the image quality turns out to be terrible...

I checked my print settings and I can not find something wrong...

Installation - A4 horizontally, and Graphics - Images - send data - is set to all.

Is there anything else I can / try? What can I do it wrong?

Here is a picture of my print settings:

    printsettings_ind.png

When I export the document normally in format PDF the image quality is fine, but it doesn't have the booklet layout I need, it exports all single A5 pages one after the other. If I try to print this pdf file as a booklet in Adobe Reader, the same thing happens to the images, they lose quality.

    Help, please!

    Thanks :))

Have you checked withthei 'professional establishment' as to what they want. Printers will not, in general, impose you the document. It's their job and they do it in a way that corresponds to the study and the equipment they use for printing.

That said, your problem with low quality images is probably the default PDF settings. Change them to something useful in Pringter in the Windows properties, or click the settings button in the print dialog box to access the driver from there and set them as you want. I'm sure that when the default installed PDF printer is 'standard' gives you the output of RGB 72 ppi.

Print my pdf files is no longer. After pressing PRINT the 'Print to File' window pops up and I have to press SAVE under to go to the next step. Once the pdf file is saved it is therefore more a pdf but a PRN file. An error message appears when I try to print the PRN file. I need to be able to print my original pdf files. Please notify.

Looks like you somehow accidentally active the option print to file in the Advanced Options print dialogue. Uncheck that and this problem should go away.

  • You are prompted, for the default program when you try to print several pdf files.

I'm on server 2008R2, and whenever I try to pick more than one PDF file, then print, it will prompt you to choose me what program I want to open PDF with.

    PrintPDF.jpgPDFPrompt.jpg

It does not allow me to print several pdf files no matter where the files are stored (office etc., network). I'm prompted with the message "choose program...". "every time.

I checked my preferences, and "Enable protected mode" is not selected

    I already tried the following:

    Adobe Reader DC relocation

    Running updates

Change the value in the registry to point to "AcroRdr32.exe".

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    Eric

    Thank you all.
I was able to solve it.

In the registry, the .pdf is looking at Acrobat.Document.15

Looked at the reg path and saw that the "Print" was pointing to Acrobat acrord32.exe rather

Changed to point to the drive path.

    This fixed the problem.

  • How to choose a bin of the printer to print a pdf file

I need to print a pdf file from a specific printer tray. I have a mac and you use acrobat adobe DC. I can't find this option anywhere in the printer dialog box.

    Hi lucyk,.

Since it is a function of the printer itself, you'll want to click on the printer in the lower left corner of the dialog box print of Acrobat. Click OK to the message that appears. You should be able to choose your paper source in the settings of the printer-specfic.

  • Since the update to adobe vXl, I can't print. PDF files

I've updated to the latest version of V11 adobe reader and now I can't print any .pDF. He also stopped my Epson scanner, print a copy which I think uses Adobe as well. Please can someone help?

Hello Pat, sorry for the delay but the woman thought two solid days on this problem was enough.

I deleted Adobe v10 and re-installed V9.x. When I went to print a PDF file, it came to mean an error message, "must install a printer" I find it very confusing that the work of printing to HP test normal and fine print on this printer. Why Adobe v10 and V11 not give me this error message. Anyway to cut a long story short, I uninstalled the printer and could not re - install so to re - install the HP printer from scratch.

IT NOW PRINTS PDF and copies of my Epson printer.

One last question, now that it seems to be some corrupt, HP sotware dare update Adobe V11 or better to leave well alone?

Thank you very much for your advice and take the time to help, it's a great help to isolate the problem.

    See you soon

I tried to install the update of the player when I could not print a pdf file. This failed. After that I uninstalled adobe, I can't re install. Download of timesout to 64%.

The same thing is happening with the flash player. I read the instructions, tried several times but still nothing. can someone help me?

You can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:

    http://labs.Adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Then you can download the complete player offline installer from

    http://get.Adobe.com/reader/Enterprise/

After downloading, restart your computer and run the Setup program before anything else.

Of course, it's an option as well. You can attach files to the main PDF file, or you can merge all files into a single PDF portfolio.

  • Print the Brochure Bugs?

    Hey there,

I have experimented recently with Acrobat (the most recent CC version) to print the brochure. Taxation works very well, but it seems there are two bugs or missing features.

The first bug: you cannot choose to print marks (Advanced - marks and bleed). It is gray...

    Screen Shot 2015-06-18 at 20.34.18.png

The second problem/bug: when you print a PDF (for example with the following parameters), I get about 2 mm white space in the seam/fold. You won't notice it on a white background, but when you print pictures or colourful backgrounds covering the full broadcast, then you have a white space in the middle. UH!

    Screen Shot 2015-06-18 at 20.40.17.png

Could someone please help? How can these bugs may be officially declared?

    Thanks in advance!

PS: Ignore the selected printer. I normally print PDF files to work with an A3 printer...

PPS: Unfortunately, you cannot tell InDesign to not print the marks inside the pages, that's why I want to add in Acrobat...

PPA: In InDesign, I checked 'facing Pages' and there is no bleeding inside the pages, so this isn't the cause of the deviation of white...

The Acrobat and Reader booklet printing feature has was never designed to be a feature of tax documents. It was a dirty ability make an impression very simple booklet on low range of consumer printers.

For better or for worse, there is a problem that during placement, for example, two pages to the letter-size on a sheet of grand book we, the two pages are "narrowed" to fit in the print device "imageable area" (usually take a quarter of an inch, or so, depending on the device, around the entire page). I'm trying to get an option to ignore areas nonprinting margin for purposes of printing of the brochure. That would solve the second problem for the correct Assembly of pages (like in the US letter / scenario gives us).

The fact is, however, if you want or need document real support imposition of Acrobat, there are plug-ins from third parties who are quite complete labor with all the bells and whistles you need. Include "Pretty impressive" any software and 'PDF Snake.'

  • More OfficeJet Pro 8600: scratches print to PDF file

Recently when printing a PDF file, the impression of dragging is in the top of the page.  The printer works fine for all other print jobs.   I ran the print head cleaning tools and align the print heads.  No change in printing quaility.

No problem, thanks for keeping me informed. You print from Adobe? I would like that print you the PDF as an image and I would like to know the results. If you are unsure how to proceed, will help the following Adobe article: Print PDF as an image.

  • HP ENVY 4500 does not print a PDF file

I have Win7 HP laptop HP ENVY 4500 all-in-One printer wireless and iMac OS X 10.9.1 desktop. It prints all good document file formats, except a PDF file. When I try to print a page of a PDF doc't, via Adobe Reader (11.0.07), it prints 6 equidistant tiny portions of the original PDF page on a single sheet. All six parties are in the same area of the upper quadrant of the original PDF page. I tried many portrait, landscape and size configurations, but in vain. It will not print PDF of my iMac and PC browsers files. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and its driver a couple of times. It installs OK without error messages, but it will not print PDF. Also, I don't get any error messages when I try to print a PDF file. I don't see any documentation supplied with the printer printer to say that this HP all-in-one cannot print PDF doc'ts, and it seems to me that it would print a PDF file until several weeks ago. Please notify.

I was finally able to print PDF files. But it's been so long ago because it was fixed that I don't even remember what was the solution. But four possibilities come to mind: (1) is of course the "print as image file" option has been activated; (2) re-installed printer driver; (3) re-installed Acrobat Reader and ensured that browser and extensions of processing of s/w, if any, have been correctly selected for my printer. (4) corrected a wrong paper, the type, quality, or size option layout which may have resulted in a page layout or a different format from what should be the 'standard' to a PDF file. Sorry I can't be more specific than that. But if I have to determine exactly what I could do to get PDF printing to work properly, I will go straight to you. BTW, I certainly don't rely on an intermediate file conversion service or s/w to transfer my PDF files to a printable format. I hope this helps.

  • HP 8610: problem printing of PDF files with iMac

I have a HP 8610 all-in-One powered by an iMac.

I have a problem with printing of PDF files.

When I print, the page moves approximately 1.5 inches down and doesnot print page as seen on the screen.

I checked with Apple and you s not a problem with the computer.  They say that there must be a parameter that must be corrected with the printer.

If you encounter the problem with PDF files and only on the Mac, the best solution may be to download and run a different PDF Viewer that allows you to open the file and print instead. Adobe, Foxit, and Nitro are a few free PDF viewers with Mac support.

Please let me know if you are able to print your PDF documents using one of these programs instead, or if you have any other questions. If not, have a great day!
