Print to a flash drive

I try to print a shipping label. I don't have a printer, but my mother has a printer without a computer. In the past, I was able to save an image to my flash drive. How to record this on flash drive shipping label to bring to the printer that I want to use. When I pull up to the preview before printing. There is no way or the option to save in a file or anything like that. I use windows 7

Hi, I just wanted to thank those of you who took the time to try to help me. I found a way that was simple enough, there is a cutting tool to the utility section of my list of programs and it's as simple as click on the image to preview before printing, and then of course page by choosing the location as my flash drive. I stored in jpeg format and my moms printer read the fine

You could try to leave by force (Apple Menu > Force Quit...) the Finder that can hold in the file/disk.

    Restart should fix the problem.

You could also simply disconnect the drive - while it is not generally recommended that it should be strong enough, if nothing is written on the disc.

You can also use the Terminal commands to force deletions of files or to disassemble the disks, although applications can use them.

If you apply password protection successfully, then Acrobat allow not specified changes. The fact that the toolbar is visible is not relevant. Go ahead and try to make changes yourself, and see what happens.

  • Can I save a document to a flash drive and bring it into a store and print?

Can I save a document to a flash drive and bring it into a store and print?  or my document still has to connect to the internet to print?

Well Yes, the flash player works for me.  Just make sure that the images are in a format that store recognizes, such as jpg. Many shops (most?) don't recognize the psd format.

  • USB ports not recognize flash drives

I was just given a Gateway Performance 550 windows 98-based computer. It is plug-and-play, have two USB ports. Printer and scanner included work on plug-and-play. The computer will not see even a device plugged in when you insert a flash drive. Should readers flash works with Windows 98, or should I switch to XP for the software to recognize? I read that some parts used USB 1 format and taking the computer earlier. It is supposed to be dimensionally identical to the USB 2, but run a little slow, but always interchangeable. Maybe the USB 2 flash drives are not interchangeable.

I'm not the best expert on all this, but I don't think that Flash drives were even invented where 98 was around.

The 98 machine would not have the drivers for a Flash drive.

You can visit the web site of the manufacturer of the USB and see if there are 98 compatible drivers there.

  • Problem with 2 USB flash drive in Windows XP sp3.

I have a USB 2 pci card - USB 2 card, with the hub 7 ports (powered) USB. Sometimes, everything works fine. Most of the time I can't access flash USB dirve. Printer, scanner, camera, photo, mouse, all connected work very well. Plug the flash drive and errors occur. The flash player works fine in laptop (Win xp sp3). Difference between the two machines, the laptop has only 2 USB ports. Have tried to uninstall the USB controllers and re-setup. Flash drive works fine in the desktop integrated USB 1.1. Have checked with Kingston USB drive flash technical support without success.

When dirve flash does not, Device Manager displays the flash player at the top of the page section of controllers USB bus, as well as generic USB (USB 2?) hub. When the flash works do not drive, hub Generic USB appears in the second USB bus controllers.
Someone help? Please, I beg you.

    Hello

    Tried your suggestions, without success.

Have now connected powered hub USB 2 on my edge USB 1.1, with all devices USB works fine.

Probability of problems seems to be my pci - USB 2 card.

Being disabled, it is very convenient for me to have the hub USB 2 powered on my work surface to facilitate the connection of my devices.

    Thanks for your help anyway.

  • Windows does not recognize the USB flash drive

    Hello
My USB does not work when I plug. It seems that Windows recognizes the device because it is found in the Solution Explorer window, but if I want to create a folder or a file on the USB key I have the following message:
    "Cannot find this article.
It is no longer in < %3="" null :="" optext=""> . Check the location of the components and try again. " < br=""> also the files that are copied to the USB flash drive are not visible in Explorer and it looks like the drive is empty.

I want to emphasize that the same (Kingston) USB flash drive works perfectly under Windows XP operating system on another computer so it may not be a problem with the device. The same problem also appears when you use a different USB (another manufacturer).

    Thank you!

    Hey, 101 a.

, I just posted a fix I found for my USB flash/go to work again.  It was a very simple solution, too.

I unplugged all USB devices first, then tried my USB jump drive again.  IT WORKED! I've narrowed the problem to the new printer that I use.  It's a Mono Dell Laser MFP 1125.  Whenever it is plugged into a USB port, my USB doesn't work.  All other devices work, but not the USB is the printer is connected

I don't know what done to block the flash/USB key, but unplug printer allows the jump command to work again.  I will contact Dell on what did the printer driver to block the flash player.  Just an info on the fix I found.

  • Print photos of zip drive

I had to download pictures from an email sent to me for a zip drive.  How do I print them. I have Vista Premium.

I'm a newbie to that I don't know what a zip drive.  I received a few recorded on my email that says to download to zip drive and I hit the download instructions so I think they are on my computer.  Is a zip drive an outdoor room that is inserted into the computer?  I could print my pictures directly from e-mail on my printer but I wanted to know about the function of a zip drive, and if it's something I have to buy.  I really appreciate the answer to my original question.

    =========================================
The suggestion to copy on a Zip disk is not necessary in
this instance and only confuses the issue. (media
in a Zip drive is basically a big floppy and my humble opinion are
    obsolete) see link for example:

    Zip drive

I can only imagine that they are referring to a USB Flash drive.
See the link for an example.

    Kingston Flash drive

Flash drives are ideal for transferring files from one
computer to another but are not recommended for long
    time backup storage.

To save pictures to a hard drive folder email...
try selecting the email containing the pictures and go to...
    File / save attachments.

If you want to save your photos and other personal files
on external media, consider purchasing an external
    hard drive.

Original title: inserting a few Flash Drives, but not all, and cell phone causes a blue screen of death

Computer Dell Inspiron 518 Intel core 2 quad, 6 GB memory, office 2 years.
HP Vista 64-bit, Service Pack 2, updated version 6.0.6002 fully implemented.
No change to HW or SW immediately before the first detected failure, but the USB port which is not often used.
History - off Ready Boost after a short experience and installed months ago driver and card Renesas Electronics USB 3.0.  This driver has been disabled through all of this, but I've not yet physically removed the card.  Disable ready boost was simply to stop - no other instructions not found for removal.

Anitvirus BitDefender and Malwarebytes scans are both clean.

A flash drive works fine, but three others cause seconds blue screen of death after installing into any USB port.   Bought a new flash drive and it also causes a crash.  Found cell phone also gives BSOD.  All work fine on another computer.  USB is currently led printer, external hard drive, digital camera downloads and keyboard/mouse very well.  Tried both USB ports with the same results and back and disconnected all other USB devices except the keyboard and mouse.  Remove and reinstall all USB drivers (6) one by one (the 1CH9 Intel USB controllers host family) and USB controllers enhanced (2);  also storage device USB and device drivers USB Composite and façade drivers card reader.  After each new facility, any 'bad' flash player causes immediate crash.  'Good' flash player's Centron Centon Pro 8 GB and one of bad flash drives is one attached PNY 8 GB, another a San Disk.  I think, but I don't remember, that the 'good' flash player was installed for Ready Boost test.

Unable to find a failure code or no trace of several accidents in the problem reports.   Here is all the data of failure that I could find:

    Hello

You must update the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) and the Pilots of the Chipset using the computer manufacturer.
  • Windows Explorer crashes when you go to Flash Drive.

Original title: Explorer windows compared to SD card

lately, whenever I try to use a flash drive or plug in an SD card, windows Explorer stops responding.  I can't view the contents of the card player, and I have to restart windows Explorer.  I use Vista, and my antivirus (Kaspersky) is up-to-date and scanned for viruses.  I am at a loss.  as strange as it may seem, I believe that the issue is in some way associated with the USB ports (because I can insert an SD card into the SD slot and it works very well), my printer works great.

    Hey e_dante1,

    (1) it might be possible that Kaspersky scans the disk for the virus. Disable the same and see how it goes.

    (2) test in safe mode with network behavior. This disables all your third-party services and drivers to load and use Basic Windows drivers required to run it.

    Reference:

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Startup options (including safe mode)

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    (3) if access to a flash drive or check his mail behaves normally in safe mode with networking, the problem boils down to conflict with other third-party applications installed. In this case, perform the clean boot to discover the guilty app. See: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    (4) get the update below which has fixes for the reliability issues in the USB components. Cumulative update rollup for USB in Windows Vista Basic components

    Notes:

o ensure that you switch your computer to normal startup mode after completing the troubleshooting steps. Steps are available in the above article.

o run the computer without antivirus software or firewall is a potential threat to the computer; don't forget to activate the security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after you have identified the problem.

  • Hardware changes not detected using a flash drive, the missing, system restore points tried every fix that MS can offer in Windows 7

All of a sudden, I have several problems with my computer.  I can't not computer to recognize a flash drive.  Printer works in the same usb port.  I used Device Manager, checked the drivers, made every difficulty that MS has to offer, each difficulty that Dell can offer, but the problem remains.  I don't feel uncomfortable so I don't have to play with the registry.  I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted.  The only changes that I did before this happened was to uninstall and reinstall I-tunes.  The flash drive, I use would be defective?  When I went to the system restore, my restore points have disappeared, that was the point where I uninstalled I-tunes.  I also noticed that when I tried to detect problems with the resolution of the problems of hardware and devices, it says "material changes may not have been detected.  In detail, it also shows "there is no configured windows in a way never install driver - edition".  WHAT?  I know that windows IS configured to automatically install.  (Deep breath)

  • Rename a usb flash drive

    Hello

Can I rename a flash drive by right-clicking and rename, but when I put the USB on the TV, it shows just "flash drive" or the name of the manufacturer.  How can I change this?
Basically I want to use two or more USB keys on the television and want to come names like 'Series' or 'Movies' not 'flash drive' or name of the manufacturer of the USB.
    Thanks for any help here.

Chips Flash display name and the serial number printed on them from the manufacturer.  Rename the flash player does not change the printed material.
