  After working perfectly for several months, my 6500Plus HP E710n Officejet-z does not print wireless from my iPad2 or my iPhone 4 s. I use version 5.0.1 on these devices and had used this version before that the printing problem. I get the following message: "Officejet 6500 E710n-z [11E2A9] the printer is no longer available." The printer works fine (without thread) of my MacBook Pro in OS X 10.6.8 version. I "think" that there was an update from HP before it started, but I'm not sure of the timing. Any ideas on how I can get these mobile devices wireless print again?

  What router?  Reboot the router by pulling its plug momentarily.

  If this does not work, we will set an IP address of the printer:

  -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
  -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
  -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
  -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
  -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
  -Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
  -Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS.
  -Click 'apply '.

  Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

  After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  I want from my iPad Pro laser-printing on a printer wireless to work. My corporate network, however, is not configured to allow wireless printing; I have to work around the network with a direct wireless printing.   I tried for more than a month to get my computer to print wireless, and I can't make it work.  It will print the test pages, but when I try to print anything else I get the message "Printing - the printer is not responding.  I deleted and reinstalled the software of the printer 5 times.  I restarted the printer again and again.   I downloaded and installed this: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907 but I still can't make it work.

  Well Yes.  I highly recommend you uninstall - you don't really need it.  Use its uninstaller in Applications > Symantec.

  I suggest to reset the printing of your Mac system. Then readd the printer printing & scanning and test again to print.

You can print the C309 wireless in a local Wi - Fi network.

  Yes, I print over wi - fi on a connected Brother printer which is connected by a cable to a Dell computer with no problems (other than the argument sometimes the Dell must be powered mode and not "sleep").   It is possible, but not with built-in AirPrint.  You can download a number of applications free printing, HP called iPrint, but their ability to print things in the system is limited (they do not print e-mails, Web pages, etc.).
