print wirelessly with HP Deskjet 3845?

I have a MS Surface Pro under Windows 8 OS. I also have a router with internet connection AT & T Wireless. I would like to be able to print wireless. Is this possible?

Hi gay,

Your printer has only a USB connector, so it will not directly support wireless.  Some routers may have a USB shared on the network connected printer.

  • HP Deskjet 2540: Wireless printing problems with HP Deskjet 2540

    Hi all

I have a problem with a printer HP Deskjet 2540 - it prints if I connected a USB cable; However, he refuses to print if I try to print wireless.

I had initially solved this problem when I went into system preferences > printers and Scanners and noticed two 2540 Deskjet series icons in a window titled 'Printers '. I ended up removing one of these icons and set it as a default, which temporarily seems to solve my problem. Now, I see two icons back in the "Printers" menu and my printer refuses to print over my wireless connection.

My printer is connected to my internet connection so I don't think there is a problem here - I also recently installed the software for this printer to make sure it wasn't some kind of driver issue; However, it doesn't give me the permanent solution, that I'm looking.

Any advice? My operating system is OS X Version 10.9.5

  • How can I configure my printer HP Deskjet f4400 to print wirelessly with my Mac osx?

  • Extremely slow printing wireless with HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m

I see extremely slow print speeds when printing from a Mac or a Windows XP system on a new printer HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m wireless. The printer starts printing immediately when I request a print, but it only prints one line. It will take about 15 minutes then to print the rest of the page, each print after a very long break line. Print demo page doesn't exhibit this problem, only documents of programs such as Word 2008, Safari, and Firefox (I tried firefox on PC and Mac) are affected.

If I connect to the printer via a USB connection it prints very well, so this problem seems to be the only wireless printing.

    Printer: HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m
Computer: Mac mini (late 2009 model) (also tried a Windows XP laptop, by comparison using the latest drivers from the HP website)
OS: Mac OS X 10.6.2 with all available updates installed
Method of connection: cable Ethernet connection to the router wireless
Printer drivers: version 2.2.1 (Apple provided, drivers HP never installed as system comes with 10.6)
Wireless router: Apple TimeCapsule (early 2009) 1 TB, honing a/d and modes of b/g on 2.4 and 5 GHz. TimeCapsule is in transition as the DSL modem handles DHCP service mode
Encryption: WPA2 Personal, no MAC filtering or hide the SSID.

IP addressing scheme: all addresses are distributed by the server DHCP without reservation of any kind

The TimeCapsule is sitting three inches from the printer and the printer indicates the complete signal. Connecting the printer to the wireless network and setup of the printer on the Mac went off without a hitch. Only when you print a test document discover us the problem. The wireless network will behave as expected when you access Internet from Mac and Windows devices (tested with a laptop computer Dell XP and a MacBook with OS X 10.6.2), so I don't see any problem with the wireless network together.

    Attempt to use:
1 reboot and power off, wait, restart the computer
2 reset the print subsystem, the printer off and on again and reinstall the printer

    3. disconnect the power to the printer and let it sit for several minutes before trying to print wireless.

    None of them worked.

I don't know exactly what is happening... I'll have to think about.

Looks like you're running with the current configuration.

    Can we call this resolved?

  • Cannot use our new HP Photosmart B210e printer wireless with HP ePrint server.

We bought a new printer HP B210e for our House to be able to print wireless smartphones, laptops and desktop. The first problem was that our main office, which is about 3 years old and under XP would not find the wireless printer. I contacted HP and after several hours, they changed my desktop to be able to see the printer. Alongside this, they configure the printer to have a fixed ip address.

It worked well, but I still cannot print from the photo tray. My wife's office has also had the same problem, but we will stop using this office. Not something we want, but she has a laptop computer.

The main feature that we wanted to use had to be able to send an e-mail to our printer through the HP eprint center. Who has worked on the first day, we have signed, but has not worked since. It seems that our printer cannot connect to the HP eprint center at all. We can send e-mail to our printer through the eprint server. We can see that the e-mail message has reached the server, but the server cannot transfer the email of the printer. We check the Setup wireless on our printer and it is correctly connected to our home network and I can print wireless from my office.

We're fast approaching the decision of the printer to where we bought it. We do not want to, but have no choice unless we can understand how to print from our smart phones.

So I ask for help with the printer or a recommendation on which printer you can buy that actually work on our network wireless home. I tried to find what printer is best for this purpose on the Internet but find that there, the information is just too complicated for us to make a decision.

PS: I see too many complaints about the HP ePrint Center, but very little about HP trying to fix or even acknowledge that they have a problem. I think they do!

I can't comment on the ePrintCenter (maybe it's temporarily down?) but I know that your printer is capable of printing from an iPhone or an iPad... your smartphone you happens to be an iPhone 3GS or 4? If so, you can use the last iOS4.2 that supports AirPrint and print directly to your printer. As long as your iPhone and your printer are both connected to the same network, that is. I hope this helps.

  • Printer does not print wireless with a laptop

I just got the B210A Photosmart more for Christmas and it is all set to print wireless from all the computers in my house except my Dell laptop running Windows Vista home Edition.  Everything says it connects and work, but I'm unable to print.  I just get an error message.

The only thing I am able to print wireless is when I open the Web page the printer by typing the IP address and choosing to print a test page.

All the diagnostic tools, I downloaded everything that the printer is connected and works well.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall again.  Nothing works.  I also have one Mac and a Dell desktop that so many very good wireless printing.

    Help, please!

Have you tried to disable the firewall of your security system?  Have you deleted and added the printer in Control Panel?  If this is not the case, do it in this way:

    1. make sure the printer is on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address before continuing.
    2. click on > start > Control Panel > printers.
    3. click on add a printer
    4. Select local printer
    5. Select create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click Next.
    6. under device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under the name of host or IP address, enter the host name of the printer (found on the network printer configuration report the generated above). Click Next.
If you get a message about required additional Port information, then the printer is not found using the host name. You can go back and start over or using the IP address of the printer instead of the host name.
    7. Select Hewlett-Packard in the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
    8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
    9. He will ask the name of the printer - enter a new name or use the one existing. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
    10. we may ask you to share the printer. Make a choice and click Next.
    11. the printing area of Test Page is displayed. Go ahead and print it out.
    12. click on finish.

  • C6180 print wireless with Cisco E1000 router problems

    Hello

I recently got a new Cisco E1000 wireless router and am not able to print to my HP C6180 printer wireless.  I ran the diagnostics wireless to the printer and all past.  The printer has an IP address, etc.  However, neither my wife nor I can print without wire (connected to the printer works) on its Apple or my PC.  She gets "the printer is offline.  I found an old post which has me download and install the diagnostic utility network HP but that the utility could not find all the printers and after tinkering with it I could get still not work.  I think the printer wireless radio is dead (but then how do I connect to the router and have an IP address, and go to the configuration utility) or the N wireless router is not compatible?  Or hopefully something we can fix.  Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Ross

If the printer has an IP address, then it must be connected to the router OK.  You've restarted the router?

We could define an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Yours is 192.168.1.100 a.149.  Allows to select 192.168.1.200 for your printer.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS. Let the second white.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.
