Printer causes internet to disconnect

My husband and I bought the all-in-one HP Photosmart Premium fall - C309 series. My husband did the installation as it is more techno of spirit that I am. He got the printer to recognize our internet provider because we have wifi. Whenever we try to print a document, it will print up to now and then disconnect it from the internet.

The lights on my wifi box go happy flash, and as long as the printer stays on after that the internet does not connect. By the time the printer is turned off, the internet connects very well. At the beginning we thought that maybe there is a problem with our wifi zone, and we contacted Suddenlink on the nature of our problem.

They sent a person tech to ourselves. He spent an hour trying a lot of different things without success. He admitted he was perplexed, and he said he would have a senior technician out to solve our problem. This man came, said that they had seen once this problem before with a laptop. He called the technology that has been higher than him.

Even he couldn't figure out what was causing it. He said he would investigate she unhooked the product of my printer. He suggested I contact HP, because he had theories about "what" could be the problem. (1) the fax tries to dial a number through the wifi box, and given that we will not use the fax to contact HP to determine if there was a way to pull the plug.  (2) what we have just not found the channel to properly schronize with the wifi area.

If this problem cannot be resolved, we will take the printer back to the store we bought to get a full refund and find a wireless printer that works with our computers and wifi.

AHA!  I should have asked this a long time ago.  I'm sorry.

SMC routers are "atypical" and have problems with the HP printers (among others).  Here's how we should move forward:

  • Disconnect the internet SMC router by land the cable to the router.
  • The router power cycle (unplug, wait 30 seconds, turn on the power).
  • Power cycle the printer.
  • Run the wizard from the control panel wireless configuration (configuration > network).

Now, run a Test network configuration to get your IP address.

Open web page internal printer by accessing its IP address.  Select networking and wireless (802.11).  Under the IPv4 Configuration tab, select manual IP:

  • For the manual IP address, use the IP address of the printer to the existing address with a lag.  For example, if the printer's IP address is 192.168.0.5, then use 192.168.0.30.
  • Manual use the mask subnet 255.255.255.0
  • For manual default gateway, leave blank.  This is important.

Select manual DNS server:

  • Fill the oil fields in preferred DNS server and DNS server auxiliary manual Manual.  This is important.

Press on apply.

Disable the SMC wireless router and reconnect the cable.  Now turn off the printer and all the computers connected to your network.  Wait 60 seconds and then turn on the wireless router and then turn on the printer.  Then turn on the computer.  You should be able to browse the internet while the printer is also on.

Finish by installing the SW on the computers that you want to print from (if they do not already have the software).  A suggestion more - do not install the HP Customer Participation program.

  • Photosmart B209a printer causes internet to file when connecting to a netgear WNDR4000 router

I had problems with the internet connection being lost on our wireless network. I traced the problem until when the Photosmart printer connects to the wireless router, internet connection seems to fall. If I turn off the printer and I do not find the internet connection until the router is reset. If I reset the router with the printer again, the internet is immediately lost.

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. Use current IP of the printer except replace the last set of numbers avec.250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first and second DNS fields.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

A network that extends with AirPort Extreme is causing Internet failure.  When I unplug the extreme internet works fine.  What is the problem?  The extreme old used to be the main, but I reset when I bought the new Time Capsule.  Time Capsule is now the principal.  We had extensive network in the House for over a year with no problems until I put the Capsule in the mixture.  Why they arrive as well as the other?

Is AirPort Extreme 'extension' of the network by wireless connection to the Capsule of time... or... AirPort Extreme connects to time Capsule using an Ethernet cable connection?

Who would be able to help me?

When I want to print using Internet Explorer 11 on a Windows 7 PC, I can select Preview before printing, but when I actually want to print, it gives the error:

"There was an internal error and Internet Explorer is unable to print this document."

This error only occurs when the 200 HP LaserJet color is selected.

I am able to print on our other HP printers, like the HP Color LaserJet CM4540 multifunction printers.

I am also able to print on a printer using Chrome.

If the problem seems to be related to Internet Explorer 11 in combination with 200 HP LaserJet color.

I tried the 'standard' measures to resolve the issue, such as:

    1. disable Internet Explorer Protected Mode

    2. the value Internet Explorer default browser

3 re-create the missing bass folder and define the level of integrity

    4. start Internet Explorer as an administrator

This does not resolve the issue.

  • Whenever I try to open other pages, they'll just be "loading" for 30 seconds then it says that the page cannot load (as if my internet is disconnected)

    Recent internet connection problems

Recently, my internet has been acting weird. He has never acted like this before, until 2 people moved my basement and began to share Internet (maybe a coincidence, but not sure). Sometimes when I leave my computer on and stay away from the keyboard and go back some time after and open my internet browser, only my home page would be in charge. Whenever I try to open other pages, they will simply be "loading" for 30 seconds then says that the page cannot load (as if my internet is disconnected). But the problem is, when I click on network and sharing Center, there is nothing wrong with that.

Access - LAN and the Internet
Connection - connection to the Local network

It's the same when my Internet works fine, but I can't just browse other Web pages EXCEPT the home page that appears when I first open my browser. When this happens, I usually unplug my modem then reconnect OR just keep trying to load a page when after like 5 minutes or more, everything works normally.
How can I solve this problem? It is annoying and happens almost everytime I go back to use my computer after staying idle for some time.
By the way, I noticed that I have 4 'networks '. I'm not sure what they are, but I could merge or delete them. It would help my situation?
Control Panel-> network and interest-> network and sharing Center Center-> customize-> Merge or Delete network locations.
I am very annoyed by the present and I would be grateful any entry in this case.
    Thank you in advance.

  • Two devices Fax listed when you try to print from Internet Explorer metro

Hello.  Our Pro Officeject 8600 is ranked twice as "Fax - HP Officejet Pro 8600" when access to the 'Peripheral' charm in Windows 8 Pro 64 bit and try to print from Internet Explorer of Metro.

One of the two brings in fact appear Fax options, while the other will be printed as usual, but you must use some trial and error when you try to print.

It is specific to IE connecting the metro interface as the desktop IE printer appears as normal.

I want my printer to appear as a printer and not a fax, so that I don't have to guess...

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

This isn't a problem from the point of view that the software works in fashion, it is supposed to. When you install your printer it installs two drivers, one for fax and one for the printer, because they are two totally different functions. If you find it difficult to distinguish between them, I would recommend renaming as I mentioned above.

Uninstall and reinstall the printer will not change this fact.

I would like to know if this is the information that you need to hear!

  • OpenDNS causing internet failures

Here's my problem. I had my R7000 for about a year. In recent weeks, the Internet has been VERY uneven. A moment very well, the next STEP. Sometimes a single session (such as streaming video in a browser works) while the next browser session cannot connect. The Web interface of the router reports sometimes internet is down even if I'm streaming of data!

I found the cause and that's OpenDNS. I would really appreciate the help I want to keep the level of protection for my children than goves OpenDNS, but at the moment it is causing terrible connectivity issues.

    Symptoms

If I disconnect the parental controls through the netgenie app on my PC and enter the parameters of the DNS primary and secondary ISP, everything works fine. The minute I switch on parental control, the DNS settings on the router goes back to the settings OpenDNS 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 and bad back problems.

This thread (which is now closed) https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R7000-router-drops-internet-connection-frequ... is the closest to my problem. It seems that they did not communicate for a period of time, so he was arrested but I think they have my problem.

  • Printing from internet using XP, pages are preceded by a page and a half of nonsense characters.

When you try to print a page or pages of the internet, I get 1 1/2 pages of porridge gobble, start by ': $(modèle dowloadButton).  This happens both of my printers, so I guess it has to do with a setting of XP.  This just started happening.  Help!

    PML, this help?

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322961

I don't think... the OP said printing works fine for everything except IE.

In researching the problem, I found some information to the effect that IE 9 and 10, there was a switch by using the GPU on the graphics card instead of the CPU to do the rendering, which can affect some printer drivers.  The notice has been updated for the latest printer driver or to disable acceleration.

Unfortunately, the OP still provided no version of Internet Explorer running, so I don't know if it was the cause of the problem.  The problem with LPT3 in Device Manager is a new Curveball (and, of course, we do not know how the printer is connected to the computer, but because it works for other programs, it's probably irrelevant).

Captain Nemo: Yes.  Ask your question in the forum Internet Explorer as I previously suggested:

(2) the brand and model (s) driver version (s) of your printers; and (3) the (Home, Pro, Media Center) version and service pack (none, 1, 2, 3) of XP you have.
