Printer continues to recognize the devices iOS and Mac

For a month the printer was working fine with a Macbook Air, Mac Mini (with Mac OSx 10.9.1), several iPhone (4S and 5s - with device Windows XP Windows 7 IOS 7.0.4) 2 being able to print to the printer.  The printer is connected via USB and wireless to a Windows 7 device.

All of a sudden the Macs and iPhones have started having problems printing.  The first thing I did was to restart the printer, but that did not fix anything.  Next thing I've tried has been reset to the default network settings and then reconnect to the wireless network.  I was able to do this, but yet the Macs and iPhones could not see the printer.  Next thing I tried was going to the web interface of the printer in order to check all the parameters and the Bonjour service has been activated.  All settings went well.  An interesting thing is that Windows devices could connect to the web interface, but the Macs couldn't.

I can run the utility from HP on the Mac and it does not detect the printer and it can query the printer for settings such as ink.  However when I run the printer Installation Wizard, it does not see the printer.  When I try to manually add the printer with the IP (which is detected by the HP utility), it cannot connect to the printer.

Nothing has changed on the router that controls the network during all this.

Any suggestions on how to get the printer is recognized by Macs?  Macs connect to the wireless network as well and connect to the same SSID as the printer.  Ditto for iPhones.  Turn the printer on the network via Ethernet is not possible at this time.

It is certainly sounding like Hello (mDNS) does not work on your wireless network.  Although the addition of the IP should work without worrying.

If you print a network on the OfficeJet does show a good wireless connection?  It shows the correct SSID?  Correct IP address?  If you enter the IP address on the page of network prnter in Safari or any other browser you get the printer Embedded Web Server Page?

Have you recently upgraded or changed your wireless router?  Have you tried to reboot the wireless router?

You mention that the Windows PC is connected via USB.  Is this queue that is shared on the network by the Windows PC?
