Printer driver conflict

I have a HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 (I think J611g) printer.  I can't find the original installation disc so I downloaded the driver from the HP website.  After I installed the driver and use it wireless, it works fine.  However, when I turn on the computer, then next turn I can print is no longer.  I then run HP print and scan doctor where he says that it has detected a conflict 'pilot' and recommend to uninstall and reinstall the driver of what I do.  Everything then works fine until I turned the computer off and turn it back on, and then the process repeats.  I would appreciate any feedback on how to solve this problem.  I use Windows 7.

Thank you

Yes and it's the issue of not finding a print management comes in. Thank you!!!

When I could not print, I ran the HP diagnostic tool, who met a driver conflict.  I followed his instructions and uninstalled the current driver and reinstalled the latest driver, but I still cannot print.  I restarted the diagnostic tool again with the same result, met a driver conflict.  How can I get rid of the conflict driver for my printer?  Thank you.

What you describe, it seems that the USB cable is connected to the computer until the installation software asked for the connection.  In this case the generic Windows drivers and the HP drivers will try to install and collide with another.  I would like to Uninstall the printer and software.  Then reinstall of a fresh software download and make you wait for the software to ask the USB connection.  Let me know what happens.

  • Lack of driver / conflicting results - A636 Photo Printer Windows 7 64 bit

Just bought a new computer with windows 7 64 bit home edition and have a problem installing my A636 photo printer.  When the software loaded on the printer to my computer downloads and I run autorun (or setup) the first window that appears directs me in line for a print driver.  But when I go to the Web site, the message is only for Windows 7 64 bit I don't need another driver.  If I download, I get an error about running to say that this program is not for Windows 7 but for Vista.

I tried several programs test to see if I have no conflicts with the firewall or antivirus, etc and have tried to completely disable my anti-virus and firewall hoping that would be the question.

So, how can I get the printer install so I can print my photos.

  • MS Office 2010 and C4380 printer driver

My printer driver C4380 to work seamlessly with MS Office 2007. After installing MS Office 2010 I find there seems to be a conflict between the HP printer driver and print MS office dialog box. For example print double-sided is very difficult. I have to fix double-sided in the dialog boxes and then the MS Office dialog box seems to replace the HP printer driver and print the second series of pages on the opposite side in reverse, which I can't seem to change.

Is there a setting in the dialog box HP or MS Office that I'm missing?

    Hey David,

This problem only occurs in Office 2010? Is also double-sided printing the only question? try ingnoring the word 'Set' and rather go in my printer properties, select the finishing tab and select "print on both sides (manually). This should copy double-sided working properly.

    Thank you

  • Why do I get a message "driver conflict detected" after you have installed the latest driver.

I got the impression ink levels display problems.  So, I decided to run the latest software to print and Scan doctor.  Of course, diagnostic tests detected a driver problem and displays a message "Driver conflict detected.  So, following the instructions, the driver has been uninstalled and new software has been installed by using the latest version of the driver full and another software installation.  After this has been done, diagnostic tests was performed again, guess what, same message.  The next timeI just installed the driver installation package.  The diagnosis was made again.  Guess what, same error.  Well, after a few hours trying to find another driver for a 64-bit computer to Windows 7 and looking for an uninstall program different, I gave up.  Oh, the other problem is repeated 'offline' messages on my wife, WIFI connection to the printer. No problem has been fixed.   Does anyone have a solution?

    Thank you-

That solved the problem for the USB connected computer. The wireless computer works correctly.

Thank you very much for the help.

    Hello

    (1) did you do changes on the computer before this problem?
    (2) what are the types of documents that you are not able to print?
    (3) is the issue limited only with the Microsoft Office program?

Step 1: Test the problem to the boot to check if it is a question of software conflict. A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.
Try to install the updates in clean boot mode, and check if the problem still persists.
You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: After the troubleshooting steps, please refer to clean the boot link to put the computer to normal startup mode.
Step 2: Download printer driver last OEM

Step 3: Uninstall printer related software l and features

    un) go Panel.

    (b) select Uninstall a program under programs and features.

    (c) click on printer drivers , and then click Uninstall.

    (d) wait until the process of uninstallation is completed, restart the computer.

Step 4: printer installation and driver when prompted then only connect printer and check if it helps.

If the question is limited to Microsoft Office, I suggest to return the items listed below and check to see if they help.

I upgraded my Windows 8 to 8.1 Windows System. Subsequently, I received a message saying that I had to reinstall my printer driver, I went on HP website and downloaded the driver for Windows 8.1. First of all, I uninstalled all the software and the drivers are already installed on my computer. Then I tried to install the new driver. I received this message: "the system cannot find the file specified." I have downloaded the driver from the HP site again and tried to install it a second time, but got the same message. Sorry to hear that you are having problems with getting your Officejet printer installed on your computer. I did some research on this problem and I found that you could be affected by a conflict with the old drivers and the new. The best way to remedy this situation is to download and run HP Officejet Pro software and driver removal utility. This utility will rub off any old HP software for your printer so that can do a clean install. Once you have all the old software removed, please click on the link for HP Officejet Pro Full Feature software and driver.

Please let me know if you still have questions and I'll be happy to help you.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Epson printer driver does not appear in the printer & Scanner window

I downloaded the latest driver for my Epson Artisan 50 printer OS 10.11.5. I ran the installer, and it seems that the installation was successful. But when I am preferences system-> printers and Scanners and click the + to add the new printer, it does not appear in the list 'Add '. How ca I add the driver to my preferences printers and Scanners?

    Mark Romine wrote:

How ca I add the driver to my preferences printers and Scanners?

You do not add a printer driver for printers and Scanners.  You add the printer itself.

The Epson Artisan 50 is not a printer capable of AirPrint, as shown here:

    On AirPrint - Apple Support

(I have an Epson taking is an AirPrint printer, and it works very well with OS X 10.11.5.)

The Artisan 50 printer seems (but not scanner) software in the Apple driver:

Printer and scanner software available for download for your Mac - Apple Support

    Therefore, follow the instructions here:

OS X El Capitan: Add or remove a printer

I followed on the specific page for this driver and found the same thing - my apologies that there is not a link on this page for basic training.  I did a search on the site hp.com for this text and it took me to a page that has the base driver...
