  Short version of the question:
  How to select items on the page to view a printable version of a page?
  
  Long version of the question:
  By adding ": YES" at the end of a url, I get a printable version of my page generated by the APEX. In most cases, it works well and I made a general link which produces printable versions of each page.
  
  For a specific page, I have a report that shows data of a sql query. It shows a maximum number of lines of 500 and a pagination of 15 lines per page. This works well for normal display, but in the printable version, it displays all the lines of 500. I need the normal display mode to keep its functionality, but the printable version does not show all 500 lines.
  
  acceptable solutions are (preffered solution at the top):
  -Display a maximum of 15 lines in print preview mode.
  -Disable the printable view of the specific page (turn off the actual functionality. It is not enough to remove the link)
  -Hide printable version report (also to hide it from the HTML source code, hide it with the help of the style and such is not enough)
  -Disable the print version for the whole application (it is not enough to remove the link). This generates a lot of extra work for us, because the print version is used for many pages.
  
  I currently use APEX 3.0.1 but is planning to upgrade to the latest version.

  Why these drastic "solutions" are acceptable, it is that we will soon to take a look at the feature print everything. We intend to use a css stylesheet for printing, instead of the functionality of Jonathan.

  I have a page with a button that loads the page even, but in fun mode of the printer. However, I have a button I want to be displayed if the page is in friendly print mode (a button to launch the print dialog box) however I want not displayed in normal mode.

  Change your button and go to the Conditions section. There, you will have 2 options that will solve your problem:

  "Current page is printer friendly Mode"

  and

  "Current page is NOT in Mode friendly printer.

• Printing in 2 programs problem started 2 days ago, only firefox works fine with Internet Explorer?

  Services Bank web site has a "Print - Friendly View" text, on the top right of the page that displays the account information in a different format if you click on the text. Printing all other functions work ok. The problem isn't when you use them Internet Explorer. The other program is on the Aflacs website, and the problem is very similar. When I click on the text stating "Print copy of invoice", nothing happens, as the text of the Bank. Both work perfectly with Internet Explorer. The problem started about 2 days ago. When it works well, a window will open and show you what it will print and you click on the text "print", and it prints. Any help on this problem will be greatly appreciated.

  • When you are connected to your HP account connected, click the devices tab.
  • Next to the picture of the printer you want, click on the settings button.
  • You should see the settings menu of your printer.

  I use Windows 7 and Gmail on a laptop Samsung.  All of a sudden, I can't print pdf attachments to emails.  I have to save the attachment and then print that is very effective because I don't always want to save the attachment.

  I enabled 'configuration report print' as 'apex Oracle listening Port.

  Created a simple reception report.  Under 'Attributes Print' active impression on 'yes '.  The report works well and I am able to download it in CSV format.  When I click on the link 'Print', it still generates output in PDF format (depending on configuration) or I can download it in CSV format.

  My question was to know how to print the report to a printer like the majority of printing applications.  I use apex 4.2.6.

  It's quite simple using a print media style sheet.

  You must identify the CSS selectors (usually ID and classes) of the HTML page for the elements and areas that are not to be printed: a web Inspector such as that found in Safarior Firefox + Firebug combo is useful for this.

  We cannot provide detailed information on the selectors without a complete information about the APEX version, theme and the models used.

  I think that there is no possibility to download your complete dashboard with several report in obiee 10g. You can do a version printable option and download in pdf or HTML. Second, you can download a report in format excel or other by going to

  Option of the page > Edit dashboard > enter the properties of the report > link report > by selecting ' Printer Friendly and download "option that never wanted > ok. > Click SAVE.
