  • Download file with LabVIEW webservices

    Hello community,

I have running on a PC webservice and I would that my users to be able to log on the site (made), select the menu upload (done), select the file they want download (done), then using a POST method, I need a routine that acutally downloads the file to the server (not done) all of their browser. I found several links demonstrating how the customer can download a file from labview, but my clients do not have labview. Everything must be done through their browser.

I enclose my solution how the server can send a file to the user. This part works, but I need a file transfer in the opposite direction as well.

    Thank you!

Use "read downloaded files info" in the range of Web Services. It will allow you to access the files that you download an HTML form in your web service. It will give you a temporary file path that you can then open or copy.

  • Not able to find driver Win 7 (64 bit) for printer "hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one. pls help

While I insert the printer USB cable to the laptop, it runs the Windows Live Update automatically and fails in the final task, the installation of the driver. It says "hp psc 2400 series - has failed.

Then I removed the USB cable, removed the device of "devices and printers", reboot the laptop and then tried to load the driver manually. But in the window "install print driver", I could not able to find the driver for my printer ' hp psc 2410 photosmart all-in-one ' for the operating system of Windows 7 Professional (64 bit) under the "HP" manufactured.

Can someone help me get this printer driver to use the Win 7 (64-bit) operating system? Thank you.

Thank you, Sean. It has not solved the problem. Instead, I got to know that this will work with the 'HP Deskjet 6980 series' pilot and his summer work after I chose that one through the configuration of the local printer.

    Here are four ways:

    1. go to a command prompt and run the command

dir [drive: folder] > c:\tempfilename (you can use any name and put it in any folder of your choice)

Then open Notepad, open tempfilename and print from there.

    2. write (for example, in Notepad), a text line 1:

    / DIR %1 > LPT1:

Save it as 'printdir.bat' in the folder ' send to '.

AFAIK dixons is a store in the United Kingdom and I'm Scottish and the letters xp are in the title so I was wondering if my system until I bought has been upgraded from xp to vista, but I don't know that I've had this laptop in 2008. Any help would be good.

    Ben

The files exist physically. They are for the support of 16-bit applications. Your computer may have been upgraded from XP to Vista. High risk!

  • HP PSC 2350: Colors wrong print HP PSC 2350

I have Windows XP and IE8.

Lately, the printer has been printing with the color green instead of yellow. The rest of the colors are fine. I tried to align the printer and clean the cartridges, but it has not solved the problem completely. In the Toolbox, I printed a test page, diagnosis and calibration of quality - now, instead of yellow, there is a color that looks like partly green and yellow in part. How to fix the colors?

I need to download the updated printer drivers and the first thing I need to do is to create a temporary directory on my hard drive to save the downloaded files.  My operating system is Windows 7, the 64-bit version.  My printer is a brother model MFC - 240 c.  (That copy, fax, scan and has Photo Capture).

You shouldn't really need to create a temporary directory - especially for the Brother printer drivers.  You can download it at any place that you can easily find (like the office).  Then double-click it to run it (run) on it and let it install.

    I realize has their instructions (probably the ones found here<-- that="" is="" a="" link)="" say="" to="" download="" the="" file="" to="" a="" temporary="" directory="" -="" but="" i="" just="" downloaded="" the="" file="" you="" need="" (mfc-240c-inst-win7-a2.exe)="" and="" double-clicked="" on="" it="" and="" it="" doesn't="" have="" to="" be="" anywhere="" special. ="" it="" will="" 'extract'="" to="" the="" native="" temporary="" directories="" as="" needed="" (nothing="" to="" be="" concerned="" with)="" and="" then="" ask="" you="" to="" choose="" a="">

Which I suppose you want to English (as shown), and then you click OK.

He then expand some additional files and then ask you to accept a license agreement (I suggest "Yes" If you want to go further):

In your case... choose 'Standard' and click Next and continue in this way until it is installed.  Then (once Setup is complete and closed) you can restart the computer (first and foremost) and then delete the original file you downloaded (MFC-240 c-inst-win7 - A2.EXE) on your desktop (or downloads, etc.)

    You should get through it.

  • You want to print a sequence of files.doc & *.pdf.

Using Win 7. In Windows Explorer, I can right click on a.doc or *.pdf file name and select print and the file will be printed and focus returns to explore. Can I write a CMD script that will perform this operation to print a sequence of files? I have about 70 files to print. With a few changes or additions to my list of files, I want to print them on once or twice a week, so some automation of the task would be very useful.

Yes, you can write a script or create a batch file, there are many script sites that can help or you can try an appropriate set of Technet, or maybe the Group Office/Word

  • Disable the creation of files desktop.ini in Windows 8

    Hi all

I want to know if this is a way to disable the creation of files desktop.ini, at least in the desktop system folder.

I knew that under XP there was a DWORD key which should be created to avoid creating all the desktop.ini files in the computer.

I don't want the desktop.ini file features (personalization of icon, remembering the last display in each folder options, etc.)

So I don't want to hide the desktop.ini files. I want to remove them and avoid Windows 8 create again and again.

If Microsoft has disabled this customization which was present in the earlier version of Windows and now is not available (to disable the creation of files desktop.ini) just say. If there is some other registry key to be created or modified, please advise.

    Thank you

    Pablo.

    Hi Pablo.

I would like to inform you that the Desktop.ini is a system file that addresses common issues, such as downloads, Documents, photos and music etc. When a change is made in these files, Desktop.ini is updated.

Deleting the file will cause problems with the operating system and it is not recommended to delete the files. The default desktop.ini a hidden system file and read-only attributes assigned.

If you want to stop these messages, go to the files through Search Options, click settings and you will see the Folder Options, click on it and the view tab and scroll down until you see "Hide protected operating system files (recommended) and put a checkmark in the box."

Hope that answers your query. You can write back to us for other queries/problems related to windows and we will be happy to help you further.

  • Why every time I try to print it automatically downloads it instead?

Only when I'm in firefox, I opened a document (no matter what program I'm), hit print, it automatically downloads instead of print. I have to go to downloads, recover, then print and it prints like a bad copy. This has happened for the past two weeks. I had no problem before this impression. Help!

Try to use the Applications on the page Options Panel to change how Firefox handles those particular types of downloads. Looks like that PDF is the starting point:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options

In the left column, click on Applications. Firefox can pause for a few seconds while it loads the list. You should then see a listing of many different types of content. In the area above the list, type or paste pdf and Firefox should filter to

    Portable Document format (PDF)

On the right side, if it says 'Save file' which are always changing to 'ask '.

    A little luck?

Now, if this does not work:

    (1) there may be other types of content of the site is indicating for attachments. You can scroll through the list looking for others who are set on 'Save file' and change these.

    (2) the file that stores these preferences could be damaged. What we usually suggest in this case is the following:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button '3-bar' menu > '? ' button > Troubleshooting Information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Pause while Firefox finishing his cleaning, then rename the mimeTypes.rdf to something like mimeTypes.old.

Launch Firefox upward, and it should build a new mimeTypes.rdf file starting from the registry data, and Windows plugin. Normally your PDF Viewer will be reset to a built, but you can select Adobe Acrobat if you prefer. See: How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another Viewer.
