Printer Test page: Top a thumb print black, fading to printing for the orange rest

Top of page one prints black, fading orange print for the rest. Print content is readable and accurate.

The printer is HP Deskjet 2050 J501.

I changed from 81/2 X 11 to 4 x 6 photos - the first digital photo (B & W) was normal (all black). The second printing has been described, first black inches, then orange rest. I adjusted the printer to 81/2 x 11, the first impression has been described. I asked for assistance.

I read your message and proceeded to print a test B & W 8 x 11 page. It was OK! The second test page is OK too.

I don't know what I did to solve the problem, except that the computer was shut down for two days. Thank you again for your help.           George Hutson

    I love this tool and use it quite often.  Have I missed something but, for when I want a copy of the capture, I go to Word and paste the snip in a new document, where it can be printed?  Is there a method of direct printing for the chiseled section?  Otherwise, would be MS please consider including it?  Are there other supported this idea, if any?

    The best way to store the printer would be with plugged somewhere course.

    The reason why I recommend it be plugged in is because the printer needs to perform routines of service from time to time in order to keep the printhead in good health.

  • DeskJet 3632: unable to set the printer for the moment of ink

    I recently bought this printer, but finds it difficult to sign up for the instant the ink plan. The printer is connected to the pc via the usb cable because my router is not active wifi. Nothing happened when I tried to sign up for the plan, but I had a message on the screen saying if you are not using wifi the printer can be connected to the router with an ethernet cable, there is however no installation on the printer to connect it like that! Does that mean I cannot get instant ink or y at - it another way to do it?

    Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you try to register your DeskJet 3632 to instant ink.

    The following was taken directly form Instant ink Web Site. What are the conditions to register?

    Your printer must be connected to the Internet, so we know when to send you ink.

    According to the Specifications of the printer (as you noted) the 3632 does not support an Ethernet connection. This means that the printer must be on a wireless network in order to be enrolled in the program.  There is no way around this requirement.

    Please read this post then provide some details.   What operating system? If Windows 7 or later version, I suggest installing the driver tool to http://www.hp.com/go/tools , or for these and other systems operating, you can download the complete driver recommended from HP here.  If you plan to use USB to connect the printer do not connect the USB up to be instructed by the installer.

    When you say that by default, Microsoft do you mean Microsoft XPS writer or a note?

    What web browser are you printing from?

    When you go into devices and printers, is the set of 8610 as the default printer?

    A better way is to open the control panel / devices and printers. Right click on your printer icon, and select Create shortcut. The abbreviation that the printer will be placed on the desktop.

    Make a right click gives you several options, but this isn't one, at least not on my version.  But after I posted, I found the answer: Ctrl + P.  Works very well.  Thanks for your response!

  • Signature will not be printed for the recipient

    My financial adviser recently sent me a PDF file to fill in, sign and return. I use Acrobat Professional CS4 (MacPro Tower, OS/10.6.2) and completed the necessary lines using the typewriter tool. I then used the Acrobat stamp tool to place my signature scanned on the appropriate part of the form. Save the file and sent it back.

    When she opens the file she sees all my additions whose signature, but when it tries to print a paper copy, the signature disappears. Is there some security settings in the document that I need to reconfigure or is the problem on his end? In the properties of the Document-> security method, method is set to No security and summary bed allowed for all ten options.

    Additional info: it is on Windows, but I sent the file to a friend of my Mac club and he had the same problem: given everything I added, but the signature do not print. Prints very well here at home. That's why I'm convinced it's some setting document on my end requiring an alteration.

    The person printing must make a choice. Document, Document and annotations and comments, Document and paper, stamps, only form field.
