Printing from my Surface for my printer HP Officejet 8500 A909a

Windows rt officejet 8500 A909a

I try to use my printer HP Officejet 8500 A909a on my rt Surface. My list of devices shows the printer, but indicates that it is not compatible with this version of Windows. I check the site of Microsoft for compatibility of this printer and it shows that it is compatible. I tried to vote that it is not compatible, and my vote never registered. What gives. This printer is supported in RT or not? If it is supported, how to configure it?

Thank you

Bill

PCL3 drivers worked, thank you! Now, I can print my surface.

I tried a LaserJet driver and killed the job before he traveled all my desire to print a line of gibberish on each page.

-Thanks again,

-Bill

  • Print driver for OfficeJet 8500 A909a for Windows 10

Having trouble getting my printer to work with windows 10. Do not really need the full software on this PC so just print driver would work. I downloaded OJ_AIO_P8500_A909_Full_Win_WW_140_408 - 5.exe several times and I still get the same results after installation. I deleted the printer several times in the section program & files windows. This includes all said HP in the system. After the installation of the printer does not work and I get a protection error when trying to enter in the properties of the printer. • HP Officejet 8500 A909a: HP Officejet 8500 A909a accepts most of the computer print control

I have had this printer for years and never had a problem.  Then he stopped accepting the scan command.  I went for the scanner and printing doctor and follow the guests, including the installation of the new software.  Now, it scans when ordered.

BUT it does not now print.  Not an image, not a document.

I was again through the guests of scanning/printing doctor, uninstalled then reinstalled the software.  But nothing!  However, if I put something on the screen of the printer and press the button on the printer, which will print.  Is simply not wanting to accept commands from the computer.

    Any ideas?

    Hello @Stellabelle,

    Thank you for your response.

Since you are using a USB connection, do not follow the steps I mentioned in the post above. Try the following steps:

    • Unplug the USB cable from the printer to the PC.
    • Go to Control Panel - programs and features and ensure that no printer Officejet from HP in the list entry. If there are, uninstall the same.
    • Restart your computer.
    • Click on http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL31041/mp-88604-3/OJP8500vA909_Full_14.exe and install the drivers.
    • Connect the USB cable as long as you are prompted.
    • Try to print now. If further questions, go to the next step.
    • Go to http://hp.care/2c5YKY5 and expand "Manual steps to solve the problem" and follow the steps under "step 4: Verify that the correct port is selected.
    • Now, try to print and check.

    Hope that helps!

    Good luck

  • OfficeJet 8500 has stops at "now printing" After sleeping

Hi, Windows7 laptop computer, USB wire link for all-in-one Officejet 8500 printer has produced no CM755A, serial no CN0CKAR15R:

It prints OK when turned on first of all, then sleeps if not used for a few minutes as planned. But on sending the print order following its ' small screen wakes up & now a "printing" on it, but nothing else!   It won't work even once if I turn off, put in pause, then turn it back and return the print order.

I tried a soft reset using the network voltage electrical on/off/on in the order they advised me on this forum, without effect. It is powered directly from the wall jack via a single good quality extension for this only, & no power surge protection.

    Any ideas please?

I would make sure I had the latest firmware for the printer. I included a link to the update of the firmware here. In addition, you could disable energy saving mode in the configuration menu of the printer and go to preferences and scroll down and deactivation of the mode of energy.

Let me know if it helps.

  • Cannot print from the Surface

Original title: printing from the Surface

How can I get the Surface to be printed on a LaserJet 4MV printer connected to a home network? Apparently, I need to download the driver to the Surface,
supposedly through Windows Update. But I get a message that Windows Update is not available and try to come back in a bit. It's been two weeks now. I think that's enough time.

The selection of the pilot process is slightly different for RT

Go to add printer, and then select the printer is not listed option and then click Next

Click Add a local printer... and then create a new port.

The next point depends on how the printer is actually connected

SO directly to the local network, then choose TCP/IP and set up address.

IF on a PC then choose Local Port and set the port name on \\PCNAME\PRINTERNAME

In the installation of the printer driver, select HP, then on the right side that you have to jump in front of the largest part of the Laserjet section because they are PCL6 and the 4MV is PCL5. 3/4 of the way down are Cffp Laserjet class drivers, even more after Officejet are PCL3 class drivers. You have to experiment with one of them.

RT in ARMS does not normally support installing x 86 programs. Use of RT v4 driver architecture whish is based more around to support groups of printers using the same file defined as specific drivers of each model. It can lead to minor features, not being is not visible, but it should still work as a printer.

Neither my K8600 L7780 ot are still both work.

LaserJet 4, best printer ever made!

This process works for most of the printers 'unidentified', even if it depends on a little know the specifications of the printer. This question is coming repeatedly, and needs to be better documented.

  • iPhone and ipad: printing from iPhone / iPad for HP OfficeJet 7612

Just hooked up new printer HP OfficeJet 7612 to replace OfficeJet 6600. My iPhone and iPad easily prints pictures on 7612 via my wireless network but do not print anything else (emails, web pages, etc.).  This has never been a problem with the 6600. When I hit print, nothing happens. The website says that air Print will automatically work that she has done on the 6600, but not the new 7612.  What Miss me?

Found the problem. I had to go into the settings of the printer and allow shared printing. Problem solved.

  • I installed a driver for my printer Hp Officejet Pro L7380. How to connect the printer to the computer that works with windows vista?

I installed a driver for my printer Hp Officejet Pro L7380. I can print from my computer and it detected that it, I can't scan anything on my computer because it is not connected. I have tryied Conect it but can not select. So my question is, how I connect printing to computer?

Specify that you are trying to scan a document Hp Officejet Pro L7380 to your Vista machine.  It has only a single computer attached, or is it a printer networked with other computers?

If you have installed the base drivers and not the additional software that allows scanning etc so maybe it's why you fail.

    Have a look here.

    Software & Driver Downloads
    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=2093&LC=en&cc=au&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=3198092#n190

It might be possible with just the base drivers, for other software, such as your Photo editing programs, including painting, for import documents or images from the scanner.  Windows Fax and Scan can be able to do.  When you go in such programs are there options scan and they see your scanner?  If this is not the case, try the full download.

If you want to of HP to make scanning programs, you may need the-base drivers and software (larger download).

For my HP ' All in one ' works like a scanner, it was necessary for me to download all drivers and software.

  • driver Windows 7 for printer hp officejet g95 laptop

can not find the driver for printer hp officejet g95 for windows laptop 7

The drivers for your HP product are already included in the new Windows 7 operating system. You don't need to download the drivers to use the product. Simply connect the printer to your computer with a USB cable, and Windows Update automatically installs the driver for your product.

    With the OS

The driver located in the Windows 7 operating system

pilot, some buttons on the product do not work, and some of the advanced features of these products are not available. For more information about your driver in the OS and see workarounds for lost features, go to our frequently asked questions below.

Install the Windows 7 operating system print driver (in OS)

When you connect your printer to the computer, Windows 7 detects hardware and automatically installs the correct driver. A notification lets you know when the installation starts and when it is completed. You are not required to download any software or insert the product CD.
First step: install the driver in OS

Follow these steps to install the OS in Windows 7 driver.
NOTE: the computer must be connected to the Internet for Windows Update to detect and install your product.

    1. Turn the unit on.
    2. Connect a USB cable to the printer and then to the computer.
      Figure 1: USB Cable

NOTE: when you connect the USB cable to the printer and then to the computer, Windows 7 active Windows Update. Windows Update search online for the latest driver on the Windows Update site. If the line driver is newer than the driver that is stored in Windows 7, computer downloads and installs the updated driver. The Windows Update process happens automatically. Therefore, you will not notice that the process is underway.

    3. Windows 7 detects hardware and automatically installs the correct driver. A notification on your computer to notify you when the installation is complete.
Your base Windows 7 driver is now installed. Some features may not be available, but you can use the workaround procedures instead. See the How to scan, fax, print or use a memory card? section below.

    Second step: print a document

Print from any program to make sure that your printer is working properly.
    1. Open a document in the software application with which it was created.
    2. Click fileand then click print.

    Kind regards

    Joel

  • Windows 8 drivers for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8600Plus

Where can I download windows drivers for the printer HP Officejet Pro 8600Plus 8?

I think I see what's happening. You have recently upgraded to Windows 8, and you don't have to uninstall and reinstall the software for your printer for the new OS. Now, nothing works as it should. Fortunately, this is a fairly simple solution. Uninstall the printer software and reinstall it using the packaging designed for Windows 8. I'll link the software below. Let me know what happens.

Where can I find the e-mail address for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909a series so I can use my new HP app on my ipad to my ipad on my printer printing?

    Tina

The printer Officejet 8500 A909 series does not work with ePrint. You can use the House ePrint and Biz app for Android and Semien devices or application ePrint for iOS devices. However, you cannot use ePrint itself. Sorry for the confusion. Here are links to the ePrint and FAQ Mobile applications compatibility list. Hope that helps.
