Printing - Windows 7 and HP printer wireless problem

I'm having a problem with wireless printing on... I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, on a a new HP laptop and an hp officejet pro 8500 wireless device.  As another user on this forum... it will work if I plug in the usb cable, but it is not an acceptable solution for me.  I have two other computers on my wireless network... a mac and an office (both on different operating systems) that are printing the printer wireless without a problem.  It will remain not connected my laptop (Windows 7).  What seems to happen, is that I lose my connection to the network.  This is not moved until I started trying to print wireless.  But now that I am printing wireless I can print a job or two, and then I lose my connection.  If I run upstairs and power to the bottom of my router, I'll be able to print again... briefly... and then I lose my wireless connection and I start over again.  I uninstalled and reinstalled.  I installed the correct drivers (and I am able to print... but I'll have to restart my router every 30 minutes approximately).  If I'm not looking to print wireless from my laptop (with windows 7) I don't have this problem... I lose no connection between my laptop and the wireless network unless I'm wireless printing.  Other computers on the wireless network will continue to work very well, but I have to restart my router in order to get reactivated the ability to print.  Print a couple of jobs and then * poof * I can't print more.     My router is a Belkin N + B1F688.  My printer is connected wireless to my router and is recognized and used by two other computers.  I spent COUNTLESS hours trying to solve this problem.  I have lived my configuration of the firewall.  WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You can post on this forum of HP printer help...

How and what should I do to get the printer going or to get the computer to recognize.  Installation CD will not work and I looked online and downloaded drivers but still the same thing.

    Hi LOliver,

Method 1: Run the hardware and peripheral troubleshooting tool and check if it makes a difference.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

Method 2: Disconnect all USB (Universal Serial Bus) devices connected to the computer (unless your mouse and keyboard). Connect the printer and check to see if the problem persists.

Method 3: Connect the printer to a different USB port and check.

Method 4: Reinstall the USB (Universal Serial Bus) controllers.

First of all, please disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:

    (a) click on 'Start', type device manager in the search bar and press "Enter." If necessary, click on continue.

    (b) in Device Manager, double-click to expand the "USB Bus controllers", right-click on the "host controller", click "Uninstall" and click "OK".

    (c) repeat step 2 to uninstall all items under 'USB Bus controllers'.

Then, restart your computer and windows will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

  • C7280 all in the a photosmart printer wireless problem

    Photosmart c7280 All in One

    Windows 7 64 b

Unable to connect to the modem

    no change

This photosmart c7280 all-in-one is no spring chicken, and there were no problems so far. It is connected to 2 laptops via a Qwest wireless modem. After that be able to connect to the printer for a week or two the ability to access the printer has disappeared... printer shows offline. To resolve this problem, I had to redo the SSID and WEP information and it would be upward. Today when this 'fix' again once he could not find the modem even if I am connected to my office at the top of the page and online. I had unplugged the modem and brought up in power go online without a problem, I so I stop the 7280 and restarted, is returned to Setup Wizard wireless, put in the news and hit OK... it has started the search for the modem then hooked! Unable to do anything, power button did not work, had to pull the plug to get it to turn off. Back on and everything but the wireless worked, did this x 4 with the same result. Is there a separate card to control the wireless function? It is replaceable and it sounds like the likely cause of the problem?

    Thank you, Bob

Looks like the wireless card has failed.  Print a network Test Wireless in the network menu on the front of the printer.

If she does not, reset the printer by turning it off, keeping the # 6 keys while a few seconds after turning it on.

If the radio is toast, it can be practically replaced.

  • LaserJet P1102w: Router reboot printer wireless problem cures - why?

Ive had this printer (P1102w LaserJet) for a year now. Sometimes its been very well, other times as recently happened constantly offline. Its driving me crazy.

I just read online that can help to restart the router and the last two times, my printer went offline, restart the router has healed (power cycling of the printer, by running a utility that stops & starts the spooler - did any of these things).

So my question is - why reboot the router to fix this? Both times I was surfing online with this same router, and I have not noticed any problem with this router. And secondly, is there a setting that I can change into my router so that it will not goof the printer wireless?

    HP LaserJet p1102w

OK, I'm about ideas.  I suggest check the firmware, there is a version 20150114 which was released end of March 2015 available here.

It can also help to go through all the steps described in the paper here.

If none of these solves the problem I will ask one of the HP support officers rush in this thread, they may have some additional suggestions.

  • Windows 8 and Franklin U600 driver problems

    Hello

I have a modem USB U600 at Virgin Mobile, the USB modem drivers are not compatible with Windows 8.

When you look at Device Manager I find there something in the sense of 'Error 37, impossible to initialize the drivers'.

Is there no workaround possible to get this thing works with Windows 8?

I spoke to the Virgin people and believe it or not the only thing to do is to return the USB modem where we bought it (the same thing happened to me). The USB modem is not compatible with Windows 8, and nothing else can be done. I find it incredible, but there you have it... They claim they have other solutions that work with Windows 8, but it remains to be seen.

  • VDDK, Windows 7 and 2008 R2 installation problem or volumes

With the ESX update we can snapshot Windows 7 and 2008 R2 system but try to mount the volumes snapshoted with VDDK return 24305 - the specified volume is already mounted.

    Is this a known issue? We use VDDK ' VMware-vix-disklib - 1.1.1 - 207031.

    Thank you

    -Ron

When calling for the information of the OS, it is possible that internal one or several volumes can be mounted. So a call to MountVolume can return with the return code "Volume already mounted. This should not be considered a failure. You can call to remove the volume (and close the disk) when finished.

    Thank you

  • Since USB to printer wireless problem. Help!

My computer is a windows xp from 2002.  Recently, I spent a WiFi modem with connection wi - fi and got everything hooked up okay, except for the HP printer will not print from the computer now.  I can only use the printer manually now.  It shows that it is connected wireless now, but I get an error when I try to print anything the computer off "work has not print due to an error in the printery system".  I ran the wizard wireless to the printer, but still nothing.  I'm not very good at that kind of stuff.  I need someone who knows what to do, cause I sure can't seem to solve this problem.

You need to "install" your printer as a wireless printer.  The icon is now displayed in the printers and faxes is connected by USB installation.  After the wireless installation is finished, you can either leave the premiera or delete it.

For your printer user's Guide should be on the CD supplied with the printer. It may have been copied to your computer when you did the initial installation.  If you don't, go here--> http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01856408.pdf

The User Guide of your Motorola cable modem (which includes a wireless router) is here--> http://tinyurl.com/bayh7wt

I'm not sure from your description, but I think that you run the "Wireless Setup Wizard" using the controls on the front panel of the printer, as described on pages 62 and 63 of the printer User Guide.  Assuming that's what you were doing, you seem to have stopped before moving on to step 6... which is actually an entirely additional process which is described on page 66 of the use and copied below Guide.  When you perform this procedure, your computer must be connected to the cable modem, or with an Ethernet cable or its own wireless connection.

I recently purchased a Lexmark Interact S605 of walmart wireless printer, com  I have a HP PC with a great OS using Windows 7 pro, first with Internet Explorer 10 and now with IE 11 and tons of memory, (1 to).  This printer worked great for about 6 months and I could even, (using the wireless option), to print from another PC in the House, (one connected to the router) and the other a netbook wireless.  All of a sudden he stopped just works!  I uninstalled and reinstalled several times using the disk that came with it, or with the disc using the Internet connection and the Printer Wizard!  The printer still works like it will print once and then it will not print another article! The copy option also works fine so I know that the printer is still able to function properly!  I tried to use the most updated driver online and still when I turn it on it prints my first selection and that's all, nothing else will print! A few times if I stopped with a work always in that printer it randomly will show that the next day or later tonight, for example, while I'm checking e-mails!  This thing is haunted!  She really sucks as I finally broke down and bought a decent printer after using the printer of HP basic cheapest I could find and then this happens a month or two after that the warranty is!  I'd appreciate really no help from anyone who may have performed in it or something like that!  I even tried to connect as an ordinary printer with a wired connection and wireless with the same results!  Help!  Thank you! bogart1959

  • eStn C510 printer wireless problem.

eStn C510a printer is not connecting wireless.  Everything else works via the tablet or USB.  Performed each diagnosis known or studied by me to reset the indicator blue wireless flashing without result.  The detachable Tablet shows that the Zeen and SSID are related as well as the IP address.  The menu, however, shows that the printer is disconnected.  I am also the force close error: "the application Reader Avenue process com.hp.ij.reader has stopped unexpectedly.  Please try again. "Help!

Problem solved after reviewing the post on "problem with WEP.  Had changed router 9100EM Verizon Ultraline series 3 model from its default from WEP to WPA/WPA PSK 2 via FIOS.  Unfortunately I had already implemented my C510 eStn on the Verizon router before changing in the Verizon In-Home-Agent of its default WEP to WPA.  Subsequently reset my C510 value by default factory menu Zeen and Eureka!

  • Last update of Windows XP and SVCHOST. EXE problems?

Hello. My PC runs XP SP3 (HP Media Center) 3G of ram. It worked very well lately without any problem whatsoever. This morning I started as usual. I noticed the familiar Microsoft Update 'yellow shield' in the lower right of the task bar. I flew over the mouse over it and it read "download updates 0%. He never got above zero (or I couldn't open Update window). I pulled up the Manager tasks and SVCHOST. EXE has been hogging 99% of my CPU. I have everything closed and stopped and restarted. After the reboot (thinking it was a problem of Windows Update), I went on the Microsoft Windows Update site and clicked on 'Express' updates to try to update manually. He began cycling (search?) updates and soon SVCHOST. EXE, roared back to life and pegged the CPU at 99% of use (effectively maxing out the CPU at 100%). Page Update MS has never reached the point where it stated that I needed updates... He kept just cycling and research. Once the SVCHOST. EXE is happening (I tried this update 3 - 4 times today) it does not stop (if I close the window of Windows Update or not). I need to stop and restart. When I stopped, I see a prompt "end program" for RUNDLL. EXE that (when I try to 'end') translates into a prompt "unresponsive". I have to leave the program to close. As a precaution I've scanned with MSE, Malwarebytes, Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware and all were clean. No problem with MS Security Center is. I never saw my computer behaves like this before. At the time of this post, it seems fine except when I try to update on the Microsoft Site. Is there a bug or a problem with the last update?  Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.
