Cannot save preferences in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015
Photoshop displays an alert box whenever I left who says that he cannot save preferences because the file is locked.
I followed the instructions in this thread and moved the File ~ / Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Photoshop.plist, but the problem persists.
What can I do to fix this?

We bought Adobe CC software on last October. Some programs such as adobe photoshop cc 2015 cannot be normal opened today, but it can be run before. It still shows the error message when we tried to open the software:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You do not have the appropriate permissions, you cannot access the program of the project files-adobe-adobe photoshop cc 2015------photoshop.exe
But not all software Adobe CC problem, some software Adobe CC can function normally. We have also reinstalled the software photoshop, but the result is always the same. Is there another suggestion for the question? Thank you.

Please try following steps
(1) close adobe all processes in the Task Manager (Core sync services for the desktop application adobe, adobe office, broker CIB Adobe updater AAM service)
2) navigate to the following locations and assign all permissions to the adobe folders to the current user. (Right click on adobe folder select properties then click on the Security tab, click on edit and select current user, that you are connected to, select full control, click on apply and then ok)

3D does not work in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015
3D has worked on my Mac Air in 2012. The 3D functionality worked for me when I used Photoshop CS6 extended. He never said that my graphics card any problem. This annoys me especially because Cinema 4 d R17 works which is even better for rendering and sculpture and didn't tell me that my graphics card can be "exceeded". I sometimes use the 3D rendering engine of the Photoshops to make some of my just 3D objects because it was more convenient. But no more.

Chris Cox programs Photoshop and knows what needs to be in the reporting system.
It's sad to say, you have a fake copy and we cannot fix this.

Error message "Cannot save preferences" CS5.
I get a CS5 error message since I upgraded our Mac to El Capitan: "cannot save preferences because the file is locked or you don't have the necessary access privileges." Use the "Get Info" command in the Finder to unlock the file... "I just got the phone with Apple support person. We could not even find a log (PSErrorlog.txt) file in the hidden library or preference files locked. We reset privileges for all Adobe files to unlocked nothing doesn't. On other orders, I also get a generic message "Could not complete your request because of a program error". (Specs are OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.1 Mac;) CS 5, Version 12.) I tried to download the last update, but I get an error message saying "Failed download." This is probably due to the preferences/permissions error? All this started only occurring after the upgrade to El Capitan. Did anyone have any suggestions?

You will need to give full read and write permissions in the following list of folders from Adobe:
- Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
- Macintosh HD/users/user name/Library/Application Support / Adobe
- : Macintosh HD/users/user/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings to name all of the permissions for this folder Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings
* User library must be hidden by default, which can be activated by opening finder > click the menu go up and press on and hold the option key, which would highlight hidden library

Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 crashes.

I tried to understand it on my own, but I still have to find a solution. Unfortunately, I'm not very tech savvy, so if there is any other information that you feel would be of help do not hesitate to let me know.
I am able to get into the interface of photoshop, but little time between 1 and 30 seconds after the launch, it crashes. I tried many solutions such as the abolition of the "librarylookupfile", but also by ensuring that all my drivers are up to date.

Have you tried to screw up the Photoshop preferences.
Measures
To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

Cannot save preferences/workspaces etc., in CC2014, the PS said the file is locked. It is not.
The actual error messages I get are:
"Cannot save preferences because the file is locked, you don't have the necessary access permissions or another program is using the file. Use the "Get Info" command in the Finder to make sure that the file is unlocked and you are allowed to access the file. "If the problem persists, save the document to another file or duplicate in the Finder.
It's the same thing when I moved to CS6 CC, no one here knew the answer, but the Photoshop online help guy told me to move the two files on my desktop, this corrects the problem, but I cannot find these files in CC2014 they were: The Adobe Photoshop CC settings folder and file: com.adobe.Photoshop.plist (I think they are still on my desktop but it's also a lot of other things)
Did anyone here know how to solve this problem or where to find these files? I know how to get to the hidden stuff, but can not see them. I love the look of the new features and can't wait to try them, but wile, I can't save my settings that I hafta stay with the 'old' CC.
PS: I get this message when I left Photoshop and also when I try to synchronize or save the settings, thanks in advance guys.
Excuse me, I found the recalcitrant files & moving them to my office actually avoided the new day. In case someone else has a similar problem the files in question are located in: / users/yourname/Library/Preferences / (you must hold down the option/alt key to see the library folder), and they have the file "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Settings" & file "com.adobe.Photoshop.plist"
