  I have a computer Dell XPS 8300. When I bought the computer I bought a reinstall of Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64 bit DVD with key code.   I was surprised that Windows 7 has made request not to be activated after installation.  I right click the Start button in Windows and selected properties, but there was no indication that I need activate this version of Windows 7.  I have the key code and I did not change the motherboard. I don't understand why the Windows Update program does not work, or what I can do to solve the problem.
