  Let's try a few basic trounleshooting.

  Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

  If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

  • Click on the menu button , click Help , and then select restart with disabled modules.

  If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

  

  If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

• After the latest updates from Microsoft, my Internet Backgammon supplied with Windows 7 no longer works. It is a dead link and the game opens same. That's happened?

  I like to play trump stings on Internet and Internet Backgammon that's installed with Windows 7, Home Premium edition.  However, after the automatic updates installed yesterday, I noticed that the link to play the Internet Backgammon is no longer works.  It's just a dead link.  I can click on it, but nothing happens.  Not even an ounce of trying to open.  It's just 'died '.  I can still play trump stings on the Internet and I have no trouble to access the internet, so I wonder if this is just a small problem or do you have Microsoft remove Internet Backgammon as one of its windows games?  Note, this is Internet Backgammon that is installed on the computer, in the folder games - it is NOT the version of backgammon on MSN that you actually go to the internet and to play.  I am referring to the one in the Games folder, which is installed with Windows 7.  I play this game almost every day, so I hope that it will be restored.  I wish there was a way to contact Microsoft about this, but there isn't and they charge, then...

  Do not inspect it. Simply open Firebug and look in the console when loading page 200. See all Red? This is not good. What do you think is the cause? You can solve this problem?

  After the migration is successful on the Mac mini, the WIFI does not work on the Mac mini.

  Problem solved... (Pilot error). I was working on a work plan that has been way too small 145px x 145px and recovered a few funky alignment problems after dividing paths. I brought everything back to a size of reasonable and everything work fine. Too many hours behind the screen today.

  Hi all, I recently upgraded my ideapad Z470 to Windows 8, however, after the upgrade, seems the function key to not activate the wifi/bluetooth no long work, when I press the function (Fn + F5) key, it just would not bring up the software switch let me toggle the wifi & bluetooth on Windows 7 is.

  Also, I noticed that the Fn + F5 was taken by the 'Airplane Mode' function Windows 8, now everytime when I press these combination, it will trigger on/off airplane mode, is there something in my wifi/Bluetooth Fn key does not work do not?

  Any software/driver that I need to reinstall to get the wifi & blueooth working again? Any idea will be grealt appreciated.

  The combination Fn are controlled by the direction of enrrgy. However the energy management. But the software is buggy to win 8. Then please install energy for win 7... Also reinstall the drivers wifi and bluetooth.

  After migrating my APEX 4.1 application to a new environment, one classic report displays a "cannot parse the SQL query: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" error when the page is displayed. Change the region to report SQL source to somehow (e.g., remove spaces, changing the order of the variables in the WHERE clause) immediately solves the problem, but by returning to the source of the region causes the report error again (the source region valid code without error, however).

  The arrival of my new MacBook Pro (OS 10.11.5) I used the Migration Assistant (MA) to import the data from my old MacBook (OS 10.6). MY did not have identical usernames on both devices, so a new user has been created for the migration.

  After migration, everything seems to work very well in most mail (and some obsolete applications).

  Problem: some menu of messaging options are grayed out on and/or non-functional. Strange thing is that Mail works fine in the other user account, so I guess that's a conflict somewhere, sometimes, preferences will not open. New emails correctly, they appear in notifications and can be opened individually, but I can't open the message viewer.

• Problem after convertin vdi-> vmdk with vboxmanager

  I've been using virtual box for a long period of time, and now I'm migrating to Vmware VSphere ESXi5. I've converted all the machines in the vdi in vmdk using the virtualbox tool called vboxmanage. After that, I was able to run these machines in ESXi5 without any problems after installing client tools to improve performance. I have only one question... Suppousing the name of the virtual machine was Client.vdi, then it is Client.vmdk. When I run the Client.vmdk in Vmware, it actually works a machine called Client - s001.vmdk, and then Client.vmdk a 0 KB, which gives the entire disk for the Client-a s001.vmdk new space. If I create a new virtual machine and delete the old I load disc customer - s001.vmdk as a whole disk space. If I do, Vmware then creates a new customer-s001 - s001.vmdk... and so on.

  What can I do to avoid generating this "snapshots" or something else?

  If jorge.vmdk really has a size of zero, something very strange happens here

  normally, you would use jorge.vmdk
  (jorge.vmdk and jorge - flat hard together actually form the virtual disk)

• Problems of migration of ColdFusion 9 to 10 Web service

  I am troubleshooting a problem it is to have a customer migrating since CF9 to CF10. A webservice call that worked, no longer works. When I call my CF10 server, I get this error:

  The ellipses are to replace the names and paths of files owners.

  When I add the attributes wsversion and refreshwsdl cfinvoke, I get a "cannot read the WSDL to the URL:... / service.asmx. WSDL error"instead of the above error. I also changed the default ws 2-to-1 version in CF administrator, without change. Are there other problems known with CF10 that would interfere with a Web service call that worked in a previous version?

  I found the answer, and it turned out to be quite simple. After the change to the default version of webservice in CF Admin, I had to restart the server. It works now, but I'm curious to know why the addition of the attribute of the cfinvoke tag wsversion call service Web did not work. My concern now is if they add an axis 2 webservice call in the future they may face this problem again.
