• Strange problem after upgrade OR-Scope

  I noticed a strange problem with niScope Multi Fetch WTD.vi who broke my code that worked for years until that I upgraded to OR-Scope 3.9.6.

  In special circumstances, usually when there is more than 4 channels configured, this VI returns fewer points than asked, finishing ever acquisition. And this happens only when its entry 'channels' is wired! Weird how?

  I enclose you a snippet of my code that show this oddity.

  The jury was PCI-5105, LV 2010 32-bit sp1 version.

  
  

• Strange problem after moving from the virtual computer to a new data store

  I am migrating our VM existing (8 in total) a 'problem' RAID to a new table on a new controller and am having a strange problem. Here are the steps I took (host OS is Ubuntu 8.0.4 LTS x 64):

  (1) off the power the virtual computer from the Web interface

  (2) the directories created for each virtual on the new RAID array computer (in this case a RAID 10 array on LSI 9750-8i controller)

  (3) rSync used to copy the data from RAID1 to be RAID2

  4) has created a new data store on the new RAID through the Web Server of VMWare user interface.

  (5) removed VM of the inventory through the Web, their return, added user interface then choose files .vmx on new data store on RAID2

  They have all power save fine... but three of them are not accessible on the network. I can open a console in the Web Server of VMWare user interface and they all run normally... but I can't their ping or access the respective virtual machine Web GUI. It seems quite arbitrary that those who work and those who are not. In this case... the VM that don't work is a license Autodesk, a Squid proxy server and a VM of cactus. All three of these virtual machines are 32-bit Ubuntu Server VM (two 8.0.4 and a 10.0.4)... and are the only Ubuntu VM on this host. It must be signifigant but I'm not see how.

  If I delete these three virtual machines of the inventory again and add to their original location (on the RAID1) they light up AND work normally. A consultant that we were working seemed surprised, as he had also done this experiment with some of the older VMWare products. I don't see how it would be the physical location of the files of the virtual machine. Any ideas?

  We rely on the migration to ESXi soon but in the meantime, we get these a few VM out of this RAID array problem. I'm stuck.

  Depending on the application, it may be enough to reconfigure the IP parameters (they are very probably on DHCP now) for the newly detected virtual NIC.

  After the migration of the Apex 4.0 tot Apex 4.2.4 encounter us the following problem:

  A button on a page.

  Action click on the button: "Redirect to URL.

  Target URL has not changed during the migration:

  Found the anwser or more solution.

  Detailed examination revealed that what was 20% in the building of the URL has now changed by Apex % 2520.

  Solution replace the %20 by +.

  Hello, first of all sorry for my bad English, but ill try to explain myself as best I can.

  I like 2 months

  My problem is that when I start the laptop and go to the desktop theres a certain point that stop loading... and it gets freeze here until I have to reset manually... (I can go trough well safe mode).

  I don't know if that has soemthing to do with him... but I downloaded and install a new driver from nvidia website. After trying several days, I noticed that there were a few problems, and so I changed it again drivers from the Toshiba web page.

  Well 2 days this is well... I might do normally...

  OK, I decided to use the recovery tool fromToshiba, but the same problem happened while isntallin drivers se... I don't know if it was coincidence, but just after it install drivers from nividia it just stop working again... it froze again... and now it won't let me start with an account , because it gets has frozen afe mode, only I can access my laptop...

  one thing I tried was unisitallin the drivers nvidia in SafeMode... and try to start the laptop... it worked... or at leat is not trapped, but since I made the recovery of Toshiba it won't let me start the session.

  I have really no idea what could it be... the grpahic card?

  It looks like a card driver from nvidia.com graphci causes freezing. In addition, it is not recommended to only use not pre-tested by Toshiba driver. Toshiba drivers are modified to support protection against overheating. So, use only the drivers of Toshiba driver page.

• Strange problem after making the extension of the detector

  PDF file works well in making the extension of the right detector. After the extension of the sensor on the right, a single page is automatically created double.

  There are several bugs you form, which is really "complicated."

  Most is allowed page breaks for subforms where you did not allow page breaks for the parent of the objects (surrounding subforms or pages).

  You set also several fluid subforms so that the surrounding page set are positioned.

  I have corrected some of the problems, but not all, as I didn't have the time.

  The next thing that I don't understand are the many masterpages that have almost the same content.

  You will need only one. Everything else can be placed on the pages of body.

• Problem with WIFI after Migration

  Hello everyone

  I'm new here, I have the small problem after migration of 10.9.5 system.

  I migrad my files to a MacBook Pro start 2014 for a Mac mini mid-2012.

  After the migration is successful on the Mac mini, the WIFI does not work on the Mac mini.

  I think it's a fault of the driver, but how do I install the WLAN driver?

• problem after uninstalling older versions of LV

  I am facing a strange problem, and I would like to ask for help before doing more drastic step, like trying to reinstall all required components of OR, or even reinstall the whole PC.

  History of the PC: I had versions of LabVIEW (all 32 bit) installed on this laptop, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 finally. I wanted only keep version 2015 on this laptop, so I went to Windows (Win7 32 bit) Control Panel, menu "remove/uninstall programs" and I uninstalled all components with older version numbers. After this step LV2015 works fine as before, but I see strange things in "NI Update Service", see the screenshot below.

  I also copied the contents of my file "c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\" here, see below (by the way, y at - it no tool OR to list ALL installed software components OR?) Uninstall the Windows list ' menu app is not exportable )

  Edit1: If one thing I don't understand: what are these driver updates, do I need? and why the update tells me to update LV2014, it is even not installed more!

  As a result, I've been several times.  Unfortunately, there are enough "complications" in how LabVIEW is installed and uninstalled the only practice which has probably worked for me (and in almost all cases, I tried something "simple", I followed upward to do this way) is the following:

  1. Back up your C: drive (or anywhere where your operating system files and the live main program).
  2. Gather the installation media for the Versions that you want to run.
  3. Uninstall everything in Scripture NOR in programs and features.
  4. Everything which "hangs on" uninstall LabVIEW (such as VIPM).
  5. If you are comfortable editing the registry, try to delete entries 'LabVIEW' and 'National Instruments' as much as possible.  This can take a significant amount of time!
  6. Delete files and folders in Program Files and Program Files (x 86) related to the OR.  Don't forget OR downloads, that could be at the root of C:.
  7. Reset.
  8. Start installing, oldest in the first place, the latest device drivers.  I usually install a Version (without its associated device drivers), restart, install the device drivers that are suitable for my hardware and the Version installed, reboot, set default values of LabVIEW (activation of TCP/IP, adjustment of block diagrams as I like, etc.), restart, and then make the next Version, repeat these steps.
  9. When all Versions of LabVIEW, you want to run are installed, install VIPM and the packages you want for each of the installed Versions of LabVIEW.
  10. Drink a glass of wine--you've won!

  I have a strange problem, after the mac is restarted, even when I decide not to join his joined apps a former State of the saved request.   Please, back up all data before proceeding.

  This procedure will unlock all your user (not system files) files and reset their ownership, permissions and default access controls. If you have voluntarily set special values for these attributes on any of your files, they will be be restored. In this case, either stop there, or be ready to recreate the settings if necessary. Do that after checking these settings that did not cause the problem. If none of that is meaningful to you, you need not worry about this, but do not follow the instructions below.

  Step 1

• Strange problem with Toshiba Express Media Player on Satellite M115-S3094

  I am facing a strange problem in my Toshiba M115-S3094, which has been pre-installed with Windows XP Media Center edition and which also had the Toshiba Express Media Player.

  I had already done a clean install of Vista on it, and then I decided to go back to XP with my recovery DVDs. I did the same procedures of first installation Express Media Player to backup (that I did when I bought the laptop) and then installing Windows XP DVD de Toshiba Recovery XP.

  The steps included:
  1 deleted recovery Express media player disk partitions
  2. installed express media player
  3 extracted Xp Recovery DVD, by selecting 'Recover without changing the Partitions' (there is no expert mode)

  Everything was fine (i.e. installation)... But now, after the turning off my laptop I press the Express Media Center button, the logo "Express Media Player" appears on the screen after loading of closures of laptop for 5 seconds.

  I tried to open it again and again, but the logo is displayed for 5 seconds and then my laptop stop...

  Laptop works fine when I connect to windows by pressing the power button / stop.

  Can someone help me on this strange question... ?

  The whole story is a bit confusing
  First of all, I would like to know if your laptop is already preinstalled with the Media Express Player and if you were able to use it on your laptop in the past.

  Now something about the Express Media Player installation;
  In order to use the media functions Express the Mediaplayer Express Recovery CD must be performed before performing the recovery from the recovery DVD-ROM products.

  In addition, on the HARD drive should at least 150-200 MB of free space available.
  This free space must be on the end of the HARD drive and there must be unallocated. To get these free space on party products 3rd HARD drive should be used as Partitions Magic 8.

  I m not 100% sure that on error ID system badly but maybe it corresponds to the DMI evil information stored on the motherboard. If we're not DMI, you will not be able to reinstall Express Media player using the recovery media express CD.
  In the DMI must be set properly the manufacturing: Toshiba, product name: for example by Satellite M115-S30

• Import/export strange problem - region with lack of letters, etc...

  I'm moving my request between two environments using export/import standard APEX process. Unforutnatelly I am facing a very strange problem - after import application, this is a very unusual way, for example:
  -on some pages, there's cut of html tags (< / HTML instead of < / HTML > at the end of the source).
  -some definitions of the region are also cut, not only at the end but also inside (FM instead OF, usually mistakes in the names of syntax, tables and columns)
  
  What is more interesting, when I change this errors and save the report, it does not record correctly as well. I have new errors and then in other places.
  
  But not only the letters are missing. Sometimes never table column attributes in the attributes report APEX poster tab errors (some inserted rows against each other, empty, alias or topics etc.).
  
  Only imported applications act in this way. Application exported and imported to the works of the same environment very well. I use APEX 3.0 with Oracle 10 g EE 10.2.0.1.0.

  I checked DAD and Web Toolkit version on the production server. It uses NLS_CHARACTERSET - EE8ISO8859P2 and PL/SQL Web Toolkit 10.1.2.0.0

• Strange problem - APEX_ITEM. POPUPKEY_FROM_QUERY

  When I select a value of LOV it returns to a different line and not to the line where it was called.

  See page 2 I created in your sample application. Notice the change in values of the index of the item. Because the main elements popup need two indexes, the index value of the item after the key element in the popup should be incremented by two.

• Strange problem with my FPGA Code

  I am running the following program, but I am facing a strange problem:
  -I can read all analog and digital input and write on the outputs analog (I measure the tension that I write on the map of the AO)

  - But the valves I have connected to the analog output, flashes a red light (which, according to the data, sheet means the electrical signal I send to them via the module AO is incorrect)

  -However, if I delete the ms and RMS block and do not make any average samples, but let all even (still two loops and two of the nodes separated from FPGA to e/s), the valves are operational and flash not a red light.

  I have a cRIO with four modules:
  -1. The (Mod1) AO cards
  -2. Map of HAVE it (2)
  -3. DI/O card (Mod 3)
  -4. Map to HAVE secondary (Mod4)

  I currently have two loops on the fpga all-in:
  -' Hand Loop (ML)': reads and writes I/O cards 1-3, with an expectation to 300us
  -'Top pressure sensors Loop (PACKAGE)' reads two HAVE the fourth module (Mod4), with no waiting

  These two loops are indicated in "fpga - part 1.png" and "fpga - part 2.png".

  The settings for the ms and RMS measures VI, as well as the façade are indicated in "fpga - part 3.png".

  The second loop uses 12002 ticks to run, the first loop use 160 ticks to run

  Previously, I had a similar problem which was fixed by setting the initial values indicated on the front cover for the analog output to the valves.

  Currently, I have not any target VI race and I'm only using fpga VI

  If the system stops just without error message, the most likely cause is a CPU overheating. Thermal sensor of the card from the mother to the title of the CPU stops the system to protect the CPU.

  Check that the CPU fan is running and remove any fan of mast betwenn the CPU of dust and the fins of the cooler.
