  • Can't burn a cd. The music is not recognized.

I can't burn an audio cd. The Player recognizes my blank cd, and it says I have 79:57 minutes to burn. But when I add music to the burn list, I always 79:57 free minutes. The music is in the burn list, but I can't start a burn because the music is not recognized. Can someone respond to this please?

I don't know what I did, but as soon as I played the music button "Start burn" is now available. I didn't understand why the music was not recognized in the burn list because yesterday I did the same thing and I had no problem, but knowing that everything is the same. The music was compatible and the burner has not been damaged, so I guess it was just a temporary system problem. Thanks for answer and sorry for wasting your time :)

Must there not having that one language in the post of the button translate work. Do not know why. But that's the way it seems to be.

Given that you can't burn your Timeline on disk or on the record, it seems that the problem is probably in the timeline content somewhere.

    Hello

Having too many CD/DVD programs can cause strange problems, especially if they're loading of parts of
themselves at the start because they will be competing for resources. This does not mean that this issue has been
caused by those, however, it's a possibility depending on which and how many you have installed.

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

    After the foregoing:

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both

contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

  • Problem burning files on DVD-R disc

Yesterday, to make room on my laptop Windows 8, I started burning files on DVD-R discs.  I have an average combustion 4.18 GB on 4.7 GB discs with great success.  Today, I tried to continue the exact same process, but I keep getting warnings that there is not enough space on the disc and I need 2 more GB of space.  Nothing has changed.  The same discs, same type of file.  Everything is exactly the same thing, so why I get the warning?  This happened to me in the past with my computer laptop windows 7 and different flash drives.  For example.  I had an empty 16 GB flash drive that I tried to add the 5 GB file and I got a warning that the flash player was not large enough to hold the file.  I'd appreciate any help I can get.

    Hi Christophe,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand the inconvenience that you face. Let me help you solve the issue.

I would be grateful if you can provide us with the following information to help us better understand the issue.

    • What burning software you use to burn the CD/DVD?
    • You did it all change before this problem?
    • What is the exact error message you get to the screen?

First of all, you need to cancel all the files waiting to be burned, so I suggest you try the following steps to burn the files using Windows Media Player.
