• Problems loading slideshows

  I built a site for a client using the Muse and the customer has problems with a couple of slideshows that won't load.  I'm not having this problem using Safari or Firefox and there seems not to be problems using separate workstations (watch online are no problems).

  The site in question has a number of slideshows on different pages, this is a problem with the slide show to the Gallery Page (apparently it does not load the images at all, but the legends always rotate)

  And the same problem of slideshow with page covers and paintings.

  No one knows what, the customer site makes good on his Tablet (Safari running) no problem, it's just the desktop version... and there is no version for tablet or desktop computer, I created only two versions of the site, an office and a mobile phone.   On the top of my head, I was wondering if maybe the customer has loaded an image in slide shows incriminated in the dashboard and it has not been optimized, or maybe the file names are contradictory, but because no one else has this problem I don't know how to advise my client, could it be some specific settings in their version of Safari?

  Hi Penny,

  This could very well be as simple as their browser cache or a plugin/extension/add-on cause.

  You might advise them to try another browser or try to reset their current browser to the default settings. This seems pretty much a specific browser/machine problem.

• Vista Ultimate 64 bit - SP2-problem with Sidebar - gadgets comes in random order

  I just installed SP2 on my Vista Ultimate 64 bit - system. Everything seems to work ok, but I soon discovered a very annoying problem. The order chosen for my gadgets in the sidebar is destroyed each time I close the OS or just close sidebar and reopen again.

  I tried to use the 32 - bit sidebar.exe rather version (located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe) and this version observe the correct order, but the 64-bit version (located in C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe) destroy the order of gadgets.

  I have looked for a solution, but have not been able to find. But I discovered, that there is a general problem for all users of Vista 64 bit and a lot of people are very unhappy with this new pproblem caused by SP2. I hope that he will be made a fix for this problem that is boring as soon as POSSIBLE. A chronology of a solution?

  No solution for it yet, according to me, just use the x 86 version of the sidebar for now.

  2 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

  3. do you try to disable User Account Control (UAC) or make changes to it?

  Method 1:

  This happens usually if UAC (User Account Control) is disabled or the security levels are on the lower level. To resolve this problem, you must redefine the UAC on default level or at least level 1. You will then be able to install Windows 7 Gadgets on your desktop sidebar.

  When I export my interactive pdf file and open the html or swf file, it works exactly as I want it, but it works on my computer because I have all the links and resources on my computer included in a zip file. The only way I can get others to see it seems to be downloading the zip on dropbox and others who download and then extract files, which is not practical. I would like to integrate the interactive pdf on a Web site or a blog, so it does not directly on the page without having to download all the recources publishes the new web feature seems it might be a good solution, but when I try to publish, it is not working properly users.

  Interactive PDF is a roll of the dice in a browser and using SWF out from. He died a technology as it is and will work on any mobile system, or on a desktop computer that does not have flash player installed.

  Without knowing what you were doing, it is impossible to tell you why post them online does not work for you but you should really take the time to know what interactive feature are and are not supported with each format.

• Problems using slideshow widget-sharing widgets

  I'm having a problem with the site that I am building right now, for some reason, whenever I do drag and drop widgets slideshow of the Exchange, they will not work. I get the message that the JS files are missing.  I've never had this problem with any of my other sites and I was wondering if someone had noticed? I need to set sort the folder that contains the js? I doubt that I've never done this before, but who knows.

  What FTP you are using to transfer your files to your server?

  You can try this:

  Go to the Upload Mode in your FTP program, and check if it shows "ASCII" or "Auto". If it is showing one of these, change it to "binary". Who can solve the problem for you. If your FTP writes on the server, the ASCII mode for .js files, this sometimes gives questions.

  If you are not already using it, I recommend FileZilla.

• Windows sidebar slideshow showing signs of cross gadget

  I just installed windows vista Home premium on my PC which has been originally pre-installed with vista Home basic. The administrator account is working perfectly. but the standard accounts give problems. All icons present in the help windows shows a sign of the Red Cross instead of the usual image. also like puzzle photo and slideshow gadgets also show the same cross sign instead of the image. Although in the admin account, there is no problem, but in the standard accounts this problem prevails. Please help me with this.

  This problem can occur if the gadgets are corrupt.
  You can try to restore the gadget.
  You can follow the steps:
  a. right click on the gadget.
  b. go to properties.
  c. at the bottom of the window you will find a tab to restore Gadgets installed with Windows, click it.

  You can try the steps below and check if the problem is resolved.

  Try the following methods and check if the weather gadgets work fine.

  Method 1:

  This may be caused by corruption of the gadget.

  You can try to restore the gadget.

  To do:

  1. right click on the gadget.

  2. go in properties.

  3. at the bottom of the window you will find a tab to restore Gadgets installed with Windows, click it.

  This will restore it to the default setting. It has to become your Gadget weather work.

  Method 2:

  Try to modify the English (United States) system locale. Sometimes just changing system language locale alone is enough to solve the problem of weather gadget.

  2. click on the Formats tab, and then, in the Format list, select the locale to use to display the date, time, currency, and measurements.

• Cannot remove gadgets. If I try, the computer crashes.

  I have problems to remove gadgets. For some reason, I have now 3 calendars but I'm unable to delete one of them. (I could charge gadgets from the temperature/currency after some fiddling).

  I have tried everything just by clicking on the small cross (up/right of the gadget), but the computer then hangs. I also tried to click right on the gadget, click on "close gadget", but the computer froze again.

  When it freezes, I can not yet properly stop... have to just switch off at the power button.

  I did a right click on the gadget & looked for properties in the drop down... but properties was not offered in a choice.
