  I understand that you have installed the driver and it works fine.  When you checked the diagnostics you became confused because it says graphic R5 but you R7.

  According to the specifications of your laptop you have AMD Quad - Core A8 - 6410 APU with graphics Radeon R5 (2 GHz, 2 MB cache).

  This problem may occur if there are handles open with all the files in the USB (Universal Serial Bus) mass storage device are in use by another program.

  Method 1:

  (a) Download Process Explorer from the link below

  (b) click on search, find handle or DLL (Dynamic Link Library) in the tool menu.

  (c) type the drive letter of the USB device in the handle or DLL substring text box and press the search button.

  (d) find the process and its PID (process identifier) in the following box.

  (e) with a view to the processes of the system tree, look for the process according to the dialog box find handle or DLL.

  (f) press Ctrl + H to display the handles in the view in the lower pane.

  (g) find the file according to the drive letter and right click, choose Manage close.

  Just like everyone else, I get a pop-up message when trying to eject my external hard drive WD: "problem ejecting USB Mass Storage Device. Windows can't stop... "and so on." This does not work when I've only sailed on the disk, but it does, for example, when I made a mistake - check or make a backup.   I've recently updated my old laptop Tecra A4 - PTA42E - (in great condition however) for Windows 7 and it is now in the best shape ever except for the PCMCIA card. In fact, to have Windows 7 installed I had to rename the pcmcia.sys and pcmcia.inf files during the installation (to .old or .bak) otherwise the new operating system would not start. The same problem has been experienced by many other users Tecra A4 and the solution is available in a number of forums.

  Although I use no more than the PCMCIA card slot, I want to fix this for a reason: If, in the future, I need to re - install Windows 7 for some reason any on this laptop, I have to repeat the same process - rename the pcmcia.sys and pcmcia.inf during installation, in addition, the new operating system does not start.
