  I have been using this 7960 for years with the XP operating system without any problem at all. I recently changed computers and is now using a beta version of Windows 7. The printer works fine except that I now have a blue tint to all my printed pictures. I did a printer head cleaning operation and ran a test sheet. The test sheet has not produced any yellow color, all other colors looked fine. I use Adobe Elements 7 as my photo editor and I changed my profile of Adobe RGB color in the elements and on the printer, but that made no difference. Someone has ideas like how to do about this situation? I can't find anything on the HP website that deals with this.

  If the yellow is not printing a test page this would indicate that you need a new color cartrdige.

  When I move a picture of the bridge, where it seems the color is relatively accurate in Photoshop, the color is off. It seems to me that the colors do not create natural colors but remain mostly in red and cyan. Have I not something 'turned on' or is there a problem with the application. How should I do?

  Right-click in an empty area of your desktop and select Properties (or click Start > Control Panel > display, depending on your settings, you may need to select appearance and themes first). Select the settings tab, and then click the Advanced button. Go to the color tab management, at the bottom will be a small window with the profiles associated with your monitor. If you are using LCD monitor and did not use a calibration device and measure your monitor, this window should be empty. If you used a calibration device, try to recalibrate your monitor.

  I have so far used Photoshop Elements with great success to catalog and change my jpg photos collection.   I recently bought a camera capable of taking RAW photos and was advised to get Lightroom to manage this.   I imported my collection of jpg into the Lightroom Catalog and was horrifed to how they see that preview (grid and Loupe).   They (very underexposed) much darker look, and the color balance has changed radically.   I need to adjust significantly to get them looking for same in PSE10.   It seems that I can't use LR to manage my existing collection.  Y at - it something I am doing wrong?

  Make sure that you do not apply an import preset or auto-ton of the adjustments. You can consult it by clicking on:

  Edit > preferences > Presets tab (Lightroom > preferences > tab Presets on Mac OSX)

  You can also try clicking on that button Reset all development default settings to see if that makes a difference.

  Basically, LR is a managed application of color and when you upload a jpeg file, all cursors in the develop module should be set to zero.

  Help! What happens here then? It is a screenshot of my laptop, on the left is an image that I have worked on it to 10 items, and on the right is the same picture as my wallpaper.   Yes. Normally, you do the round trip from Lightroom.

  (1) Ctrl + E in the library

  2) change in elements; then Ctrl + S to replace Lightroom export copy

  (3) Ctrl + W to close in elements and miniature Lightroom update.

  You are mixing color profiles a-place, or document workspace does not match the destination to export space is incompatible.

• Printer HP photosmart 8450 with error B986666

  I'm looking at what I assume it's an electrical problem.  A clear yellow HP 8450 screen with a circle that is interrupted by a vertical line in the upper part.  It is a HP Photosmart 8450 bought in the United States, now used on the European power via a transformer.  I love this printer and it worked perfectly on the transformer for a year and a half.  I accidentally put the transformer with my foot and when I turned it on the message that b9866666 has appeared on the screen HP 8450 with the above illustration.  Can you help me?

  I just submitted this problem a few minutes ago.  I forgot to mention that I'm running Windows 7.  Also, there is a red light flashing in the box of memory card.  He is looking for a card?  I've never used with a memory card.  How can I get it back to normal?  Thank you.

  I checked all the settings, tried to flip short side / long-side, reinstalled the drivers and still it prints on the back backwards! He worked well with Windows 7, but not Windows 10.

  You can try a different driver.  The Deskjet 6840 driver is compatible with the Photosmart 8450 and also provides a number of additional printing options such as resizing and reflection.  To install this driver, follow these steps: go to the folder of devices and printers, right click on the Photosmart 8450, select properties from the printer, advanced, new driver, Next, Windows Update, wait a few minutes for the list to update.  Now, choose HP as manufacturer and select the driver HP Deskjet 6840 (HP), apply.  Then, select the general tab, printing options and set the default values you want, apply, OK.

  I just bought a new Mac with OS 10.6.  (former was OS 10.5)  Now my Photosmart 8450 will print only in black and white.  I installed the single upgrade on the site of HP, no change.

  You want to disable automatic session opening, which may be why it behaves in this way.

  Go to System Preferences

  Go to security

  Under "for all accounts on this computer", place a check mark next to 'turn off automatic connection.

  I have problems to make the photosmart 5515 drivers employment. I am running windows 7 on a toshiba satellite c670.

  Software installation cannot find the printer on the network, even if it is connected and firewall is turned off.

  More disturbing still, the installation software also does not appear to identify the printer when connected via USB, even if the laptop recognizes the usb connection.

  I rebooted all systems, turned off the firewall and checked all the suggestions in the troubleshooting guide.

  I even tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver download.

  All attempts have failed.

  Make me very frustrated.

  I think I finally tracked the problem and hope to have solved.

  The software installation tool has downloaded the wrong version of the driver. It seems I have a d 5515 printer, but it has been download a 5515 driver has that (surprisingly) completely does not work with the d 5515. Once I found it and downloaded the correct driver, things began to work on the USB port, even if wireless connectivity is still not working. I lost confidence to try to resolve this, then goes to live with USB.

  There was no warning or alerts on the incompatibility of different versions of these drivers and driver autoinstall tool has completely failed to address this issue. There was no information on the label printer indicating it is which version of the printer, and HP systems has no ID of the printer by using the serial number correctly.

  Overall, I spent 10 + hours going round in circles with installation tools HP printer, which could easily have diagnised question but just told me to reboot the router, then try again. A very annoying feature is that you cannot leave the installer hp or HP Print doctor if the configuration of the printer is having problems. You have to go into the Task Manager and kill the installation application.

  Overall, very impressed - the installation of the device more painful I had over the years.

  Photosmart 1115 is not officially supported on Mac OS X since version 10.5.

  Try using some 3rd party HPIJS print drivers, those who are compatible with 10.8 and list the Photosmart 1115, sustained.

  You may be able to print using ePrint for iOS Mobile application.  This isn't something that is guaranteed to work, but it can.  I'll link more information on the application below.  I hope this helps.

  It is an older printer that has 3 slots for ink - 97, 99, 100. The 100 is almost impossible to locate and the quality is questionable. Do I need to be able to print?

  I understand that you are having quality problems when printing with your HP Photosmart 8450. I am pleased to see that for you!

  According to page 22 of the user guidefor a better print quality, your HP printer recommend you install all retail print cartridges before the date indicated on the box.

  So, if you're looking for optimal print quality, then the answer is Yes, you will need this cartridge #100. You might be able to print without the cartridge, but the quality is perhaps not as good.
