  I'm having a little difficulty to load an external variable in my flash movie.

  I am the proud owner of a 300-157 x, but I have a problem. I would use my laptop as a desktop workstation and use an external VGA monitor to the output.
  Everything is fine when the operating system (Vista or Ubuntu) is responsible, but I can't figure out how to make the external monitor to view BIOS and POST messages to completely get rid of the internal display.

  AFAIK this option doesn't exist. In General, computer laptop Qosmio is designed as a multimedia mobile gear and games. Of course you can use it with external screen or a TV, but I think that it is not designed to be desktop replacement. For example, professional laptop computers Tecra and Portege that can be used with a docking station to have multiply and different options for use with external display.

  I had X 300 but I ve never used it with external monitor so I can't say with certainty how it works but if I m remembering well this option to disable the laptop computer's display is not available.

  Every time when you want to use your laptop as a desktop replacement you should open it, start it, wait that the OS is fully charged, switch to the external display (FN + F5), and then close the cover.
  I know it's a little annoying, but, more or less, in 2 minutes, you can use your laptop as a desktop replacement, especially if you use an external wireless keyboard.

  Hi y ' All!

  I store my photos in my external hard drive because there is not enough space in memory is internal. This is actually my second drive external hard than my first (Adata HE720) is not the beginning of last year. Unfortunately, my WD Elements has stopped working and I can't restore data using Time Machine, as the drive is not found in Time Machine under devices, and I'm sure that I restored my photo library and many other files from my old external drive using Time Machine.

  Can someone tell me how to recover my old files? I have many other important data here including my photos and I don't want to lose them. I'm fairly positive that Time Machine allows me to get the data as is the point of it.

  Hey guys, I found the problem.

  It turns out that I'm never giving time Machine to deselect my external drive to backup; Therefore, there is absolutely no copy done during execution Time machine. I really don't understand why Apple made this the default behavior, but it is what it is.

  So, people, don't forget to go to Time Machine preferences and make sure that you remove the external hard drive that you want to backup under options. Once you do, you can enter the time Machine and your drive will appear under devices.

• app iOS using AS3 don't fit the screen dimensions

  I am building an iOS application using as3 and air to package the app on my iPhone 6. My problem is that I get a black bar above and below the app, the app itself is not full screen. Step screen is set to the dimensions of 6 iPhone screen.

  I tried adding the following images of launch in the app folder. [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. But it is not displayed correctly.

  Does anyone have fixes for this?

  Davis here is a variable of Type liaison: String, updatable and necessary.

  I try to deal with Davis as ('20130930 ', ' 20130929') hoping the view object, run as my original SQL.

  But failed. The view object retrieves 0 line after that I run.

  A variable binding cannot be used as this is why you must use years table. Check decompilation binary ADF: using oracle.jbo.domain.Array with ViewCriteria to see a solution.

  The problem is that you used quotes around the variable binding. Try

  A note: this type of query will do a full table scan, as the searches with wildcards to the left cannot use a regular index. If you have multiple lines, this will impact on the research persormance hughe!

• Default presentation variable used in the SQL filter expression

  I am trying to use a default value for a variable used in a sql expression in a filter presentation and could use assistance on why obiee stifles the syntax.
  
  I have a report prompted with a prompt on the name of the month (variable presentation framework - pres_month_name). The value read is used in a filter as an sql expression. The sql expression is a DEAL on the variable of presentation and its conversion to a number based on business rules.
  
  In the sql expression, I give you the presentation variable a default value for a variable of repository - rep_default_month_name. Repository variable is correct and no, based on business rules, returns an appropriate default month name.
  
  Now, if I hard code the value by default, there is no problem. Here is a sample of the filter:
  The month number less than or equal to * DEAL "{pres_month_name} {OCT}" WHEN "NOV" THEN 10 WHEN... END *.
  
  Notice that the variable of presentation is between single quotes, because this is an area of character. Once more, it works fine, but I don't want to hardcode the default, I want it based on the variable repository, therefore:
  
  The month number less than or equal to * DEAL '{pres_month_name} {ValueOf (rep_default_month_name)}' WHEN 'NOV' THEN 10 WHEN... END *.
  
  By having this syntax for default of the variable of the presentation, I receive a message from the incorrect values in a filter.
  
  This report is not only used on a dashboard, but used in a briefing book as well. Whenever a briefing book is updated, by default the presentation variable is used, because obviously, the presentation is not available in a briefing, and I don't want to use a hard-coded value.
  
  I could duplicate the report and adjust the sql to not use the presentation variable, but always use the repository variable that returns a month by default, but I would be duplication of effort and I have to do this on several requests.

  In our process, I have 2 external variables, such as agency_nm and narId, both are string with size 30 data type. variable agency_nm with label name 'Agency' and that is fine, but the other variable narId is the name of the label as "narId".
  
  How the label is changed to 'Nar Id' rather than 'narId '.
  
  Do we need to update in the fpr using studio or this can be done by the administrator workspace / process manager.
  I don't have such an option in the workspace administrator / administrator process.

  In the administrator of the Web console or process you can do.
  Go to the Variables, select the one you want and you have an option called internationalization where you can set labels.

• Operating on using AS3 objects that were created manually by a designer in the timeline

  I tried to build an application where a designer has created content in the chronology, as a sequence of keyframes.  Each keyframe is completely different.  When the application is started I choose one of the frames, move the playhead to that frame and stop (using stop).  Then, referring to the symbols in the keyframe by name, I use AS3 to allow drag / move, and I also do some programmatic movement.

  The problem is that when I use setChildIndex to change the order of a display object (to bring it to the foreground) on a drag object detaches from the timeline and appears in more keyframes (even if it has not been placed in the new keyframe by the Designer).

  Does anyone know how to use the setChildIndex without breaking the chronology?  Or is it possible to use the setChildIndex and then to restore the State of the object changed so that it detaches from the timeline?

  I have similar problems when I change the display list by taking objects created on the timeline and place them in a created programmtically the container.

  It seems it would be a fairly common use case, but I can't make it work.

  I don't know if the discussion has tangented to help you solve your problem, then ignore it if it is resolved.  I think you must have the object which the index you change within another object which is also nailed to the mounting frame so that when you come out of the framework is still required for this frame within this object.  If all the objects you are drag / drop or it must be contained in a movieclip within this framework.

  I have a problem and I have scoured Youtube, Adobe, Lynda and the help of Flash... but my simple brain can't understand.

  I'm used to the selection of items, whether it's a button or movieclip and AS2 it tagging with going to the scene or frame. It seems that this is not an option more when you work in AS3 (I use Flash CS4).

  So I found some samples but it involed script a keyframe... beyond what makes no sense to me, it seems that designers need to be more programmatic approach to these things.

  So aparently you name case now and then there is what we called an event listener... after that, I was lost.

  I tried the new mix with the old code (old code, which means going to setting, etc.) and I just got a lot of mistakes.

  Long story short, I would like to just find a code for a movieclip or button to make it go on a chassis, and or the scene.

  Things have changed, although using instance names and coding on the timeline in frames has been around for a long time, so I don't see how you missed it.  The good news is, if you do not want to use AS3, you don't have to and you can set your files rather use AS2.  You cannot mix the two languages in one file and have something works well.  If you want to use AS3 programming, then you have a learning curve to overcome, especially if you have never used coding in AS2 timeline.

  As far as do a job of button/movieclip as a button...

  Assume that you create a button symbol.  Since this is a button, it is already a car animation object that will react to mouse interactions, but only visually at this stage.  The first thing you need to do to make it useful down must assign a unique instance name.  If you drag a copy of it on the stage of the library, and while it is still selected, enter you this unique instance for her name in the Panel properties... say you name "btn1.

  In AS3, to make a button with the code, you must add a listener of events and event handler for it function.  You may need to add a little (for different events, like reversal, deployment, by clicking on it, but for now let's just say you want to be able to click on it to go to a particular frame.)  In the scenario that contains this button, a layer of separate actions that you create in a similar framework where this button exists, numbered, you must add the event listener:

  Btn1.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, btn1Click);

  The name of the unique function for the treatment, the click of this button is specified at the end of the assignment of event listener, so now you just have to write this function:

  function btn1Click(evt:MouseEvent):void {}

  gotoAndPlay ("frameLabel"); or number of image without quotes

  }

  The gotoAndPlay function has changed a bit in AS3, so you shoiuld who look it up if you intend to try to use the scenes... but one recommendation is to not use scenes.

• Creating external Tables using the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE in PL/SQL

  I am trying to create an external Table using the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE in a procedure and I managed to compile and no errors were generated. But when I try to run it from sql using the exec command I get the following error:

  The error means that there is an identifier somewhere that starts with a nonalphanumeric. This is a typical mistake of editing. A procedure compiles correctly is not of course because the underlying dynamic sql running is OK. Which of course only be resolved when you try to run it.

  There is certainly a problem with the text you provide to be run as a piece of dynamic sql code. You should try to watch it with dbms_output and run this code in sqlplus. But your problem is with the code you run as dynamic PL/SQL, it is not itself compilable.

  With a jdbc connection, we use a web front end for a new management system. The SQL above runs since a search screen. We meet a few serious problems with bind variable and execution plans. When the above query is sent by the database 'AND' clauses could evaluate as follows:
  

  AND ('Tim' IS NULL OR co.forename = 'Tim')
     AND ('Clarke' IS NULL OR co.surname = 'Clarke')
     AND ('' IS NULL OR a.postcode = '')
     AND ('' IS NULL OR a.address = '')

  We cannot dynamically assign 'AND' conditions so they are sent through to the database. This translates FTS 99% of the time as the execution plan never prescribed any of the available indices.
