  I am four weeks nine with first elements 14. Here's my problem: I inserted into the timeline, "default text", that is, names and other info.  Then I copied and pasted this 'default' text in another place in the timeline.  But when I edited the content of the second "default text", it automatically changes the first default text in the first box, too.  But I don't want to 'default' box 1 to change and be the same as the "default text box" 2, except to keep the same type of policy and the same settings I put in place in the first box.

  You can do copy/paste for your securities without a montage and end up with the same edit for all.

  Instead...

  1. create the first title in the Titler.

  2. with the firm titration module, go to Expert active project workspace, right-click the thumbnail for the title, select duplicate.

  3. drag this duplicate to the timeline when you double-click it to open the module of titration for changes of it.

  4 and so on.

  It's the same for Premiere Elements (14 and earlier versions).

• Oracle reports XML-> model RTF in XML Publisher output

  Is it possible to run the output of a report from Oracle (formerly, made with the report writer) reports through the postprocessor output for get templated RTF PDF?
  
  The report is already out well-formed XML and I can use the Plugin of Word XML Publisher to turn it into a PDF file. However, I want to 'Set', 'concurrent demand' such as the XML is automatically transformed into a PDF file.
  
  I guess it would be an another "executable" as XDODTEXE who do that?

  I assume you are using 10.1.3.4. Otherwise, my index is not relevant to you...

  There is a new parameter in the web service API to set the size of the segment. HéLas is by default not so, the behavior is as in versions (not size segment... the entire document at once). If you set the size of segment-1, you should get your document. So, try adding

  I would like to know why too. It is a strangely common on this forum problem. Where people get all this data that contains no spaces? What is it? Sequences of DNA? Chemical names? Artificial German made up words?

  You must use the property overflow/wrap-wrapping :

  However, this does not work in Internet Explorer using a theme theme 13 quirks mode, so you should switch to a theme standard mode. What APEX version do you use? (You should always include this information in your message).

• Maximum number of columns in model RTF Pivot

  I want to restrict the maximum number of columns per page, and the table should be repeated for the rest of the columns in another page.

  For example, if there are 5 columns must be returned, I want the first 3 columns in the first page and the 2 others in a second page (with the hole repeating frame).

  It's for keeping data legible printing of the pdf format, otherwise the data seems damaged and unreadable.

  Y at - it ideas to achieve this requirement?

  Rupture of the horizontal column works fine in the attached version of the RTF model.

• Tabular report with more than one line by line

  I designed a sort of Gallery page, a tabular report with only two small columns per line: a thumbnail from a BLOB column and link textual branching to a page showing the full size image with a bunch of textual information on this subject.
  
  As you can guess I look at the title of the topic, my concern is to display more than one (say 3 or 4) this line by line, in order to avoid a very long 'portrait' page with a lot of white space on the left and right.
  
  Is there a (not too complicated) way to do it? I might design a special model (?), but I'm not very used to style sheets and stuff.

  Re: report columns of the SQL query for a couple of ways to do this.

  As your main concern is to maximize the use of horizontal space, custom report template/CSS approach would seem more appropriate, as the number of columns is not resolved.

  It is also possible to do using CSS inline-block property and given that it is now feasible cross-browser and less side effects and potential problems that the use of floats is probably the way to go.

  I have a report with the title, selector column, graph and Table.There are two selectors column that has a value in a drop-down list and B & C of the values in an another dow drop.

  My requirement is when I select a to a and B in another I am displayed with a table and a table (table has 3 columns displayed)... when I select A and C, I have the table and the graph is refreshed, this time I want to see only two coulmns... is it possible?

• XML editor with matrix report

  I'm building a matrix report in oracle BI publisher (rtf) it generate the output. While he published in oracle apps this rtf then it emits warning before model to run correctly after rtf model it generate XML data, but has not shown the exit where the matrix design

• XLS-models with BI Publisher using and download the reports with APEX

  I already create PDF reports with RTF Templates. In the APEX, I create a button and a process of "Download" to get the PDF-reports the BI Publisher. ". We use version 11.1.7.

  Now I try the same thing with XLS-Templates. I create the XLS model in the editor of BI and where it works very well. Now I need also an APEX-"Download" - Process to download the XLS reports to the client. The method already used doesn't work for RTF models.

• Model RTF BI Publisher under the XSL - FO with APEX listener PDF printing

  I tried to use both the Oracle APEX the Apache FOP listener options in the instance of print settings to generate a PDF report.  The model I use is a RTF model created with the plugin from the editor of BI in Microsoft Word, and it does not work with the editor of BI setting.  I understand that the earpiece of the APEX and Apache FOP will not work with this RTF, but when I export the model to XSL - FO the word Pub BI plugin, it does not for the engines of the listener or FOP.  I'm doing something wrong here?

  Export from Word BI Publisher Plugin does NOT produce the standard style file the the implementation of the FOP APEX uses...  You pretty much need either find a stylesheet xml editor or manually code the file to meet the requirements of FOP used in the earphone or the Fop itself...

  I am migrating an application from 3 APEX APEX 4.2 on a thing I noticed with the classic reports when I put them in the model 23, it's that the first section break has break notch under the headings of columns for this section of line while the remaining lines properly have it display above the headers on the subsequent sections of group.

  
  When I look at firebug code I saw that all the tables but the first, the break line is included in the last line of the previous table, so I can see how it did not work for the holidays since.

  I have tow questions.

  1. is it really intentional because it seems not terribly elegant and my users to zero immediately above as a perceived bug.

  2. is there a reasonable job around always use headers repeat on break? I have multiple reports on the same page in places so switch to interactive reports is not a quick fix for me in this case.

  The Standard report template definition in issue 23 contains thead and tbody elements:

  This is intentional, the best practice for marking up HTML tables. What is not expected is the problem that arises when this model is used with the break of repeat titles on break formatting option. The repeated headings result table consisting of soup of tags containing several poorly constructed tbody and thead, which is not valid elements.

  2. is there a reasonable job around always use headers repeat on break? I have multiple reports on the same page in places so switch to interactive reports is not a quick fix for me in this case.

  Create a copy of the report model Standard in Standard (break formatting) for use with reports of the break, remove the thead and tbody definitions of template tags and the breakdown of the reports to use the new model of change. (Or, if you use mainly break reports using the Standard template, keep the tags in the copy and remove them from the original in order to minimize the number of reports, you need to change.)

  Personally, I would create a report model of line custom to break complex reports in order to be able to have complete control over the structure and presentation.

• Problem when creating a report with a date of schduled

  When I tried to create a report with a schedule (any option except now) I get the error 'Date of the first report occur must be after or equal to the current date", unless I have use a date of 01-10-2012 or later in the first report occurs on the field.  Current date is 2012-08-23.

  Let me know if you can recreate it and if or when there is a fix.

  My Select statement, which I use as the report (shared components) query returns the data in the following way:

  What I would like to have is a line graph with:

  • Date on the x-axis
  • Length of value on axis y
  • for each Description of Type single line

  The names and numbers of the discription varies a lot (as well as the values that they are related to the Description and date).

  What I tried:

  A lot, trying to make this work for 4 weeks, on and outside.

  Tried to edit the chart XML in Word, edit the SQL query, pivot the result SQL to get the Descriptions as columns and of course a lot of Googling.

  Please let me know if you have any advice.

  Here, the MySQL Device_Label column is of type varchar (255).
  
  This SQL fails with the error - ORA-00904: "Device_Tag": invalid identifier

  Here, the MySQL Device_Tag column is of type text.
  Column Device_Tag certainly exists and is populated.
  
  Is the problem related to the MySQL type text column, and is there a solution?

  The ora-997 because of the entry door is not a restriction of the Oracle. You cannot use a table defined as a long in the create table... as select statement..., you would see the problem even if it was a copy of Oracle for Oracle.
  If one of the columns of MySQL are translated as a long in Oracle you will hit this problem.
  The bypass alone is to avoid columns long or you can try to create a view in MySQL by using the cast function, which converts the columns that translate to long something and then use it in the create statement.
