Problem of pptp Windows ASA 8.4 (4) 1

Hi all

I hope someone can help I have an ASA 5505 that replaces a legacy firewall. Everything works apart from the Dáil in pptp sessions. These are sent to the windows 2003 server.

See below for my config, I'm really stuck now. See below for my config

I have to admit that I don't know if PPTP requires nothing else was open.

But the most common problem is usually lack the "inspect pptp" you have.

I suggest you simply followed the ASA through the ASDM while trying the VPN connection to eliminate situations where the firewall might block connections

There isn't a lot of NAT rules on the firewall itself that I can't prevent connections

You can use the command "packet - trace" to ensure that the firewall (or would rather) to certain connection tent

  • Problem sleeping satellite Windows C50D 8.1 - A - 13 G

    Hello

I hope someone who knows more about than me power management can help!

I bought a C50D Satellite - A - 13 G a few days ago and it was fine. However, a problem with the mode 'sleep' has begun today.

The laptop goes into mode 'sleep' as expected (when the lid is closed or when I press the power button). However, when I press the power button to turn it back on, it comes to life for a few seconds - the screen is on and I can move the mouse and interact with other things - but so goes backward layout 'sleep' again. What can I do to make it work is to close completely by holding down the power button then restarting.

The laptop is fully charged and plugged or unplugged happy.

I don't know if this is related, but my mouse won't wake the portable computer, even if it is set to do in its power management settings in Device Manager.

Everyone knows about this problem in Windows before 8?

    Thank you

    Jason

Guess what, it s the first time that I m reading on such problem laptop under Windows 8

I'm not quite sure if his problem software or hardware and, therefore, I recommend you to reset the system.

    How?
Check this doc: [Windows 8 recovery & repair | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB2A03ES0000R01.htm]

Option called Reset the PC would set the laptop back to factory settings.
After that the laptop has been reset, test mode "Eve".

    Hello

I tried to update iTunes on Windows 10 and now I get the message error "there is a problem with this Windows Installer Package".
I tried to fix it too, but it has not helped, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall but there has not helped either. I tried almost everything I've seen in other posts.

  • Problem with OEM Windows 8

Bought the Y580 with just the 1 TB drive HARD and Windows 8 preinstalled.

Then, I bought a 64 GB msata disc. Now I know fast drive does not work with windows 8 yet if I just put windows 8 on the msata drive for now.

    Here's the problem:

OEM Windows 8 stores a product key on bios. I even bought the upgrade pro (more for image .iso than anything else), but when I run it, even when I put the product key in before a reboot, restart, trying to read the key out of the bios (which failed because it is an OEM key for recovery) and it does not give me the opportunity to put in the new key.

Anyone know of a way to block the key to reading or get windows to clean install on a different drive, then as there are currently on? Maybe use the command prompt in the advanced options of the .iso?

    So I found this:

It is without a doubt.  There were a few patches published today, and I was able to update all my machines successfully.  This looks more like a virus problem.  Have you run a virus scan recently?  Many times, if you are infected the virus will prevent you to access Windows Update.

You can also use Microsoft Fix It to reset the Windows Update components: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058.  This could also be your problem.

Let me know how it goes,

  • Problem of multiple windows. Windows update 0% complete, "ready to set up Windows. "Please do not turn off your computer", etc.

Hi all, I have recently experienced some of the problems reported here: - Windows update doesn't work (stuck at 0% for the hours) - Windows cannot stop ("preparing to set up Windows. Please don't turn off your computer") - MSE is out of date - I can't unzip files - some programs no longer work - I just can't stop some services (like Windows update). It times out. etc... I have Win7 X 64, and the last update that has worked with success has been about 3 weeks ago. Thanks for your help!

    Very well.

  • XP hangs at startup and the dialog box provides the following: a problem has prevented Windows to check exactly the State of this computer

I am rebuilding a system that has been attacked by several viruses and had to rebuild XP using the Windows installation disc.  After completing the repair, I was greeted by the XP logon screen and I tried to log in as administrator. The standard screen grass-hill appears followed by a Windows dialog box to activate product indicating "a problem has prevented windows to check exactly the State of this computer.  To keep your copy of windows must be activated with Microsoft. You want to activate Windows now? "If I choose 'No', then Windows drives me back to the login screen.  If I choose "Yes" then Windows does nothing - activation does not occur and XP does not start... the system just hangs.   I also tried to open a session without failure, but he said that I could not activate safe mode and started back me to the login screen.  I am able to get to a command prompt, if I select Mode safe mode with prompt at startup.  FYI, I am able to view the structure of this version XP Directory when I configure the HARD disk as a slave on another system drive.  Any help to resolve this matter will be highly appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem and after 2 days of searching and trying stuff found on the internet, I have solved this problem.

At my computer configuration: Windows XP sp3 with IExplorer 8, but had to go back to the repair facility after that some system files have been corrupted, do not know why.
My repair CD installation was: Windows XP sp2

In my view, the main problem is that after the installation of repair, the system obtained in conflict of existing versions of IExplorer 7 and 8. IE 7 & 8A prevented the application of activation of MS (OOBE) of working after the installation of repair, the OOBE application silently chrashed and prevented the logon process.

I couldn't connect even in safe mode, BUT with failure + command prompt, safe mode I managed to log on! So, choose the mode without failure + command promt in the trunk. Then open a session with success. Then close the command prompt and press CTRL + ALT + DEL to Task Manager. In task manager launches the new application "c:" and answer 'No' to the following question, and after an error message you c: drive open and you'll have office. You can close the System Restore Wizard who opened. Then go to c:\windows\ie7\spuninst and run spuninst.exe. Do the same to c:\windows\ie8\spuninst. After you have uninstalled both, restart windows, and after the first issue of activation, you should get the big activation dialog box.

I have spent a lot more time, because I was told that uninstall IE7 and IE8 is possible to do this via the command prompt. I did, but it has not fixed my problem. Then I tried a thousand other tricks at the same time.

Please let us now if this helped you.

  • have a problem with my Windows Services.

I have a problem with my Windows Services.
Every time when I run the Windows Services window, I get a warning:

One or more activex controls could not be displayed because that is:
    1. your current security settings prohibit running activex
the controls on this page, or
    2. you have blocked an editor of one of the controls.
for example, the page may not display correctly.

The warning popup opens only when I click on the extended tab.
The problem has nothing to do with the security of IE, because I can open pages with ActiveX controls on them and so.

I installed the Spybot spyware/malware removal tool. Then uninstalled.
I don't know if this is the cause of the problem. But I assume that it is.

So, maybe someone faced the same problem and knows the cause for it.

    Thank you.
