Problem of pst Outlook 2007, Scanpst.exe won't work

I am in a panic.  My outlook database suddenly became inaccessible, and the error message recommended that I have run the Inbox Repair tool.  I ran it after I finally found scanpst, (it took about an hour).  The problem was not resolved.  I got a new error message: "Outlook.pst is in use and are not accessible..." »

{When I couldn't find scanpst, I found a product called Stelllar Pheonix 3rd party, ran the "free" download, then ran the solution and has been steamed to find what he recovered only the message headers before forcing you to buy the product, I've done.}  Maddeningly, the program would not authenticate online, forcing me through a complicated manual record requiring Finally I send a fax oversees.   After I finally found scanpst, I ran and got the message 'in service '.  I deleted then Stellar and the file "outlook recovered pst" created when the demo version runs.  [I intend to charge back my stellar purchases.]
I've tried since then to find scanpst things so far:
  • Norton has renewed and ran the scan, no viruses or problems
  • has run scanpst once again, twice
  • Defragment the hard drive
  • compressed pst file
  • has run rescan pst
  • last race of scanpst says "no found error.
  • rebooted and restarted it 5 - 6 times
My pst file is large.  4.06 GB.  Compression reduces the disk size to 2.85 GB.  I've set up a new folder file personal pst and am now able to send and receive emails.  However, I am not in a position to properly access old e-mail, meet this need, the things you answer to, cannot use datebook, may not use the address book, etc..
There, can someone help me?
Panic.

I regret that a bit I upgraded to 6.2 PalmDesktop because it was the beginning of my problems. The reason for upgrading to 6.2 was I wanted to using outlook 2007 instead of palmCalender.

  • Satellite P100-160: problems of Vista Outlook 2007 download mail from POP3 server

I am running Vista on a Satellite P100-160 and you just install Office 2007. Initially, Outlook work very well and then changed to send only messages but not get it back. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but no improvement. I know that the server settings are very well because I can run from another machine on the same home network and download the mail.

I also have Norton security on the computer and I wonder if somehow the Port used to download mail (110) may be blocked. Someone else had this problem or any suggestions on how to fix.

As a last resort I clean the entire disk and re-install from the product recovery disc and see what happens.

    Thanks for the info.

  • Since yesterday, I had a problem where Microsoft Outlook 2007 is open.

I can a message that says Microsoft Search indexing has stopped working and will stop. Outlook works OK, but my cursor keeps jumping around when it is open, even if I do not use Outlook (but it is open).  I think I've accidentally closed outlook immediately after that I opened it but I don't remember with certainty if this is the case and if the problem started then.  I know not what is happening since last night.

Please answer each of the following [admittedly tedious] diagnostic questions in a numbered list type in your very next answer (no need to quote this post):

    2. What is the full name of your application or the installed antivirus security suite and when (date about) is your subscription current expires?  What (other than Defender) anti-spyware applications are installed?  What third-party firewall (if applicable)?

3 a Norton or McAfee application ALREADY installed on the computer?

    4. do you have a free trial Norton, or a test of free McAfee [a] come preinstalled on the computer when you bought it? (No matter if you have never used or activated).

    (e) KB2644615, KB2633171 [Vista 32-bit only! ], KB2393802 and especially KB971029.

    6. If Windows Vista Service Pack 2 (KB948465) is listed in view installed updates, when (the exact date) he was installed according to the history of the update (this time)? [2]

  • Smartphones blackBerry sync Blackberry Curve 8320 with Outlook 2007 problems

Hi all. I have a problem which seems to be somewhat common. I did some don't research through the messages, but so far no luck.

I just got my Curve 8320 and I installed Desktop Manager 4.5 that accompanies it. At work, the calendar, I want to use is in Outlook 2007. It is a work schedule, but this isn't a working phone. Anyway, it wouldn't work at all, but I changed one of the options on the phone (based on a comment here) 'Facebook' for the other option (my personal e-mail, not associated with work or Outlook 2007, but that was my only other choice).

Then he started pulling files from Outlook to the phone, but about to halfway through it gives me this error in a window called 'Intellisync': 'operation complete unexpectedly.'

I can't go further than that. Any ideas?

    Morning.

We will try this.  Read this thread.  You probably have a corrupt file somewhere in your calendar.

  • Outlook 2007

Fix execution for performance, click here to follow the link from Outlook 2007 to IE8 does not work

    Jaycee

The problem was when I open an Outlook 2007 e-mail and clicked on a link embedded in the email, nothing happened that that is no navigation took place at the embedded URL.

Since posting here, I did further research on Google for the problem and came up with the following solution:

    Start / Run / type regsvr32 urlmon.dll / OK

    Start / Run / type regsvr32 ole32.dll / OK

This cured the problem! But I do not know what caused it in the first place. The only thing I did was install Microsoft fix and run it to improve performance and security in Internet Explorer. Could it be a bug in this process? I allowed Fix to make the selected changes.

  • sqldeveloper64W.exe has stopped working

    Summary of the problem

    ---------------------------------------------------

Error message: sqldeveloper64W.exe has stopped working when you try to open the .sql files

    Description of the problem

    ---------------------------------------------------

Breast of SQL Developer 4.0, I went into Preferences > File Types, find the extension .sql and checked the box that says Open with SQL Developer.  I went to the Associations the value Control Panel in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and confirmed that the current default is set to sqldeveloper64W.  I have used the CMD function for access to regedit, deleted the file associations for .sql and return all preferences.  If the SQL Developer is not already open on my machine and I am trying to open a .sql file, the application starts very well.  If I try to open additional files in the windows or windows Search Explorer, I get an APPCRASH indicating that sqldeveloper64W.exe has stopped working.  I click close the program and developer sql remains open, but my file does not open.

    Error codes

    ---------------------------------------------------

    sqldeveloper64W.exe has stopped working

Try changing the sqldeveloper64.exe shortcut instead. This will give you the CMD window when it is opened. We'll see if we get interest error messages here when you try to open additional files.

Once you run SQL Developer time away - force look for a 64-bit JDK, you can simply run the main sqldeveloper.exe in the main folder...

  • Outlook 2007 has killed my PST, lost messages! Help, please.

Errors were found in the file. Quit all applications to mail and then use the Inbox Repair tool.

I'm having a huge problem with Outlook 2007 on Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  I recently bought a new computer and have moved my PST file to him.  When I tried to open it, I got the error message listed above.  I have run scanpst.exe on my e-mail folder and now it is missing a month of emails!

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/296088/

I found the above article and realized that this must be the problem.  The original pst file is 2 785 305 KB in size.  The recovered pst file is only 2 079, 249 KB.  How is it possible that my email is limited to 2 GB, when I can set up a GMail account and have 10 GB?

On the old computer, Outlook opens the PST of origin without any problem.  Why would I have a problem in opening the file on a new computer?  Why would he ask me to run the scanpst on a good record and then damage it?

What can I do to retrieve the missing messages are still (hopefully) in the .bak file?

2 have you checked in the Windows features?

I suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below.

    Step 1:

Check if Windows Media Player is disabled in Windows Features.

    Step 2:

I suggest that you run SFC scan on your machine to verify if this is related to missing or damaged system files.
