Problem of storage with e3000, once the hard drive goes to sleep, no way to access

If I do not use the hard drive connected for a while. The hard drive goes to sleep and e3000 doesn't seem to wake him up. Instead, it begins to show on the web interface that "nothing is connected.

Anyone else having this problem?

Upgrade Firmware of 1.0.0.3 to 1.0.0.4 seems to have solved the problem.

I accidently deleted pictures from the camera chip while it was in drive d:, but before that I copied them to the hard drive.  Is there a way to recover?

    Hello

What version of Windows are you using?

If it is deleted from the memory card, it can not be recovered. However, there are some third-party applications or the tool that will help you recover photos. If you have saved the pictures on the hard drive and deleted, so you can check in the trash.

  • Problem of storage space satellite L305-S5962 HARD drive when installing XP

    Hello

Last week, I ordered two TOSHIBA Satellite L305-S5962 for my children and finally happened yesterday.
I was so glad that I found all drivers XP needed for it on Toshiba USA website, however something weird happened when I went to install XP over there.

It came with preloaded Vista and while under Vista, I checked the HARD drive space it is said about 250 GB (240 - ish), but during the installation blue screen boot XP it read C 131 GB only partition.
So, if you round up to about 130 GB, where the other 90 GB's?

This problem has happened to these two Toshibas, and read the two HDD substantially the same.
In Vista, it reads close to 250 GB, but when installing XP blue screen (once I turn off the AHCI setting in BIOS) it reads at 131 GB. Is this some kind of driver issue? or to issue OS with AHCI?

On the Toshiba site there are two HARD drive drivers, are a .exe and the other a .zip file.
I tried both in the XP installation CD of nLite, but it does not help.
It still reads GB 131, so now I have no idea what to do, or maybe I have something wrong during the splicing of nLite?

In any case, if anyone has some insight on this problem, please let me know.

    Thank you!

    -G.P.

P.S. Here is the link to site from USA, for XP SP2/SP3 drivers, HARD disk drivers.

Even once, if someone has seen, thank YOU!

    > I checked disk space HARD it is said about 250 GB (240 - ish), but during the installation blue screen boot XP it read the partition C 131 GB only.

The HARD disk is partitioned into 3 partitions.
The first partition contains OS preinstalled; Vista
The second partition contains the image of Toshiba HDD and the last third partition is hidden. It s a small partition created by Vista and it contains the backup files. These files can be used if something goes wrong with Vista OS or if Vista needs to be repaired.

So I guess you've seen only the first partition that contains the operating system Vista

  • Question about reinstalling windows on a laptop that came with it, but the hard drive failed and had to be replaced.

OK, until recently, the hard drive of my laptop couldn't, and I had to replace, no biggie, I really care about this laptop in any case. Then I threw ubuntu top and let it go from there. But recently, I wonder, if I could get windows again for her, for free. I am sure that it is not under warranty, but I could go and check of 90 percent. I have no back ups for it because it was cheap.

From your post, I guess that the configuration of the system now recognizes the hard drive?

If you do not have a floppy drive, then BIOS can find the player who isn't there, it returns this error.

Make sure that the floppy drive [drive A] is disabled in the [BIOS] installation system, page 173, so that it is no longer looking for the disc and see if this stops the error message.

If the hard drive is recognized in the configuration of the system, he now knows in windows "My computer" or in "disk management, [right click on 'My computer' and select 'Manage', then disk management]."

  • Once the hard drive crash but Thatcher do not open files recorved

    Hello

My Vista OS crashed and I had to reformat the system.  Before reformatting my hard drive, I managed to recover all files and sees them as well.  I copied and moved to another drive.  I can see all the files with the correct extension and a good size of the file, but when I try to open, it opens in corrupted form.  What is happening with all the recovered files.  I still don't think that the files have been corrupted, but I think it has something to do with Vista I had on my sytem earlier.  I used a passowrd administrator to connect to my laptop and I was the only user.  Can someone help me to recover my data.

What kind of re-setup do you have?  You have a folder on your system called Windows.Old?  If so, you can always have access to the original data.  Go to the Windows.old folder and open it then go to the Users\ directory and see if you can find your files.  If so, try to copy them and move them to your new records and see what they are able to open better than the copy that you made.  If you do not have Windows.Old (and I suspect that you have not if you reformatted) so this isn't an option.

Another option is to try the file corruption repair tools.  They are often specific to specifc types of files or programs.  Some are free, and some are commercial.  I don't know how they will work, but if you want to try (although considering you will likely have to file-by-file), here is a link to a Bing search engine for such tools: http://www.bing.com/search?q=repair+document+file+Corruption&first=1&FORM=PERE.

The only other option that I can think of is to take it to a professional data recovery technician; However, they do offer generally no guarantees (you pay the same price if they recover everything or if they get nothing) and they are also usually very expensive.  You must decide how the data is important to you and make your own decision on that.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite Pro P300 - remove the HARD drive to make a backup?

My P300 went to my local store to repair for a network card problem. I thought it was just a software problem or driver, so I wasn't worried that my machine is still under warranty. After investigation, they stated that they could not resolve the issue, so would be to reformat and reinstall the OS, they thought they should solve the problem.

To my horror, I found that they had broken the seals of guarantee and open to the top of the machine. They claimed the only way to save the P300 before reformat it, is to remove the HARD drive!
    Is this true?
(It turns out that a broken chip is to blame, but because they violated the warranty, Toshiba will not touch!)

Can anyone say about this the removal of HD to support it please?

    Hey,.

Normally it of not necessary to restore the factory settings with to remove the HARD drive but don t you worry about this. The laptop can still be opened from a service provider authorized without losing the warranty.

I also put t know why they did, perhaps they have checked the material. It would be possible because they have professional diagnostic tools.

But interesting to know whether or not your problem is now resolved?

  • How to use a USB to boot Windows on a PC, the hard drive contains no BONE?

I have an ASUS ROG G75vw with nothing on the HARD drive. Nothing stored, no OS, it is just white. I have the product key for Windows seven that is installed by the manufacturer. I bought the laptop used, so I have no recovery disc and no boot disk, nothing of the sort tha. It's out of warranty, so ASUS will not help me. I can't find any ISO files anywhere either. Someone please point me in the right direction. I've exhausted my known options.

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

  • Why are JPEG images on the hard drive of my computer all of a sudden now Virgin?

JPEG images on the hard drive of my computer are now white (it reads 0kb and the tile is missing) and when I go to open it in Windows Photo Viewer, it gives me an error saying that there is not. I noticed that it happens to almost all of the photos that I have edited in Lightroom 5. I shot an entire season of football last year, all in JPEG format and with my guards, I advanced and edited in Lightroom and now they are virgins. I never moved my photos anywhere. I turned the game in November, created the folder for this game, and that's all. I'm almost a year more later to print them for my portfolio and the file is missing! Lightroom can show the photo, but I can't make adjustments in the develop module because the file is blank on my computer. The weird part is that the sticker is there, the number of correct image is there, and when I click to display in the Explorer in Lightroom, it pulls up the JPEG right, if the location is OK in Lightroom, just no thumbnail image and no image size when I go to open it using the Windows Photo Viewer. I checked the other games that I shot and it's happened to almost all games.

If you have pictures on your camera cards, then of course you can simply copy them to the appropriate locations.

There are plug-ins in Lightroom that can recover the preview using Lightroom, but these will be smaller and lower in quality than the original. Perhaps one of our plug-ins experts can suggest the good plug-in.

If the hard drive goes really wrong, as I suggested, you definitely want to be replaced. If this is the case, you won't continue to use it. You might want to run some diagnostic disk on this subject.
