  Can take any 2.5 in drive (HD or SSD).  I swap currently 3 bare drives (WD 750 GB Black) for familyvideos/data, clones, test data discs.  $72 seems expensive, but it has Firewire 400/800 and USB 2.0 and 3.0 interface for use with many computers.

  I recently bought an iMac 27 "(rétine 5K, 27 pouces, fin 2015)." I have also a 15 "MacBook Pro (early 2011).

  I understand that this iMac does not support the target Display Mode, but is there a way where I could plug in my MacBook Pro via a Thunderbolt cable and work out of files remotely from there? I know that I can connect to my MacBook as a server, but I do not think that it allows enough speed to transfer between the two. Ideally, it would be as if I hooked my MBP, as if it were a USB key.

  I would avoid the Samsung SSD.  If you analyze these forums, many users have experienced difficulties with the Samsung SSD.  (Some are not)  Note that Samsung is unable to talk about Mac compatibility on their web site.  I think what to say.

  I can recommend Crucial SSD based on my experience in the installation of three of them in my Mbps.   OWC SSDS have an excellent reputation.

  I support the Crucial RAM.  I have 16 GB of Crucial RAM installed in two of my Mbps.  16 GB of RAM should present no problems for your MBP.  OWC is also a great salesman of RAM Mac compatible.

  Have you tried booting in Safe Mode? If you can start check safe mode to see if the problems you described have stopped. If they are stopped, and then restart the computer normally. What happens then?

  I'm helping someone to implement their MacBook Pro and iPad to print wirelessly on their Officejet 6700. I have recently set them up with a new Apple Airport Extreme for their router. The printer connects to the wireless network. During the installation process of the printer is fine, that the MacBook can easily see the printer. The appropriate driver is installed.   It depends on this kind of filmmaking. Model 15-inch more expensive is the only one with an independent graphics card and will be able to manage better than all other models rendering tasks. If your movie is CGI intensive, you can consider the 15-inch model. If your film is essentially practical, 13 inches could possibly do with simplest post-editing and CGI, but may take longer.
