HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one: incorrect printer in Goggle Cloud printer

I entered the wrong email address for my printer Hp Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer Google Cloud Print & now the premium printer Hp Officejet 6700 is showing that & option. I fixed the email address to hpconnected.com with the appropriate claim code (4598edne25uvy), I changed the email to [personal information deleted]
, so I could remember it more easy, but the printer option still shows Hp Officejet 6700 premium in the Gmail app. How can I fix it?

Hello @db53,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you have the wrong printer on your Google Cloud Print account.

I would like to help.

If you goto Google.com/cloudprint, then select printers in the left column, you can choose to delete the printer.

That it will take off your Google Cloud Print account.

You may also select the option "Add printer ready cloud" again.

This time, when you add the printer, use the address custom connected HP ePrint.

I'm not sure about the Gmail app, which may have to be processed by the Publisher app.

With luck it will be fixed when you remove the 6700 account.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one: problem of margin Officejet 4630

I need to have a few very small margins on a document.  Even if I set the margin to 0, when I print it is always about a 1/2 inch margin and cutting off content that shows well on the page mode.  I use a Mac with os x Yosemite.

    Help please!

    Hello @lauriekeys,

Thanks for getting back to me about this issue. I'm sorry to hear that the setting without borders could not solve your problem. Now, I'm going to make sure that your driver is properly installed on your Mac OS X 10.10 Operating System. On Mac OS X 10.10 sometimes a generic driver from Apple AirPrint will load on your printer and gives you only the basic printing functionality. To ensure that this is not the case, can I please have you perform the following steps:

    How to check the driver:

    1. click on the menu Apple and then click on System Preferences.

    2. click on Print & Scan

    3. click the name of your printer on the left side, click the sign minus (), then remove the printer.

    4. click the sign plus (), click Add a printer or a Scanner, click the name of your printer.

    5. click on the area of use or with the help of Print and then select the name of your printer in the context menu

    6. click Add to add the printer to the list.

    7. close Print & Scan

Once the correct HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer driver is checked during loading, please try printing your document again.

If the issue persists, please should I tell you:

    1. what type of program you are using to print the document with the small borders of?

    2. What size is the page that you print with small borders (letter, legal, 4 X 6, etc.)?

Please let me know if the steps I have provided resolve your problem of margins. I look forward to hear from you!

  • OfficeJet 5740 e-all-in-one: the printer display shows 'downloading' message despite no web service implemented

I got a new Officejet 5740 e-all-in-one and put in place a few days ago. It is implemented in a router which is also a modem.  I've implemented any web service.  My network is password protected, and I'm the only one on this subject.

A couple of times I arrived in front of the printer and there was a screen that says that there is a current download, and he showed the percent completed. This surprised me because I have not implemented in web services for the printer.

I cancelled the download, both times.  The second time I accidentally typed the screen again.  I don't know what button I hit, but it has printed a message that says that my printer is now web enabled.  He also says that my printer has an email address.

I went into the web installer, and it seemed to me that I had not implemented the web.

    1. what could it possibly download?

    2. If it does not complete a download while I'm not looking for, will there be a record of this?

    Hi @Andrew111,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printer problem.

I understand that you use a 5740 Officejet from HP printer e-all-in-one with a computer of Windows 7 and you noticed that the screen of the printer said there was a current download, which you surprised because you but you did not set up web services. I would like to help with that.

You mentioned that the printer has its own e-mail address. Web services have been enabled for the printer to have an address of mail @hpeprint.com. It is possible to disable the ePrint and printable HP once the HP Web Services has been enabled.

The download that was underway was probably a printer update, which will come by automatically. Nothing to do with the computer. I don't think there is a record of updates of the printer anywhere.

Please let me know if that answers your question...

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer problem

I installed all the software and ran all the tests and pass all areas. Test print comes out very well. But when I try to send something to the printer, nothing happens, the printer just sits there. Anyone know what could be the problem?

I still don't believe it, but I took a chance and pulled the USB out and then plugged in. It worked.

  • OfficeJet 4630 e-all-in-one: 4630 won't find wireless network - still need help

Using the Netgear provided by Frontier DSL gateway. Printer worked fine until we lost internet for a week and Frontier had me reset the bridge and put in new password (WPA). Tried to connect several times (printer saw the correct network SSID) until I noticed that I had 1 bad characters on 16. Then the printer stopped seeing the network altogether, even let me get entry in the WPA. Tried to reset the default settings, no help. This thing is now just a HP boat anchor?

BTW, all other devices in the House are connected wirelessly fine, after you have used the correct password that is.

    In page 8 User Guide

Restore the default settings network settings.

    1. press the button to access the State wireless wireless
    menu.

    2. press the button next to wireless settings
    Setting menu.

    3. select restore default settings.

4 confirm the selection to restore the default values.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one: my password has the '=' character and it is not available in the keyboard options.

I can not set the printer wireless because of the password issue (not ' =' on the keyboard). I also can't configure wired, because the ethernet cable may not be connected to the printer (as suggested on the web).

Is there another way to use this printer?

I had no problem before when my network used different network name and password. Given that the password has been changed, my printer is dead.

    Thank you

    Hello

The printer has a USB port, it's the lower left port just below the ports of the two phones.

You would need a USB 2.0 for the printer, the printer connector is different from the one connected to the PC, t is the connector marked as B in the following image:

  • HPOfficejet 4632 Print Fax Sca: sent faxes see the wrong date on HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer

The date on the faxes that I send show dates in March 2014; the time is correct.

This is the Date and time on the device (which has been the first time that the device is set up). You can update this info on the device by using the control panel.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one: set up the scan, it repeated?

During the implementation, the printer prints a page with the rows and columns of colored lines. Then asked me to deposit on the glass and the scanner. After I got out, I realized that I had put backwards (side still printed backwards.) I'm worried that would effect the print quality of the machine. I tried to re-do, but the back button wouldn't let me not go back. Is it possible to re-scan this page? I have to? and if yes, how do I do that?

    Hi @waverider13

Thank you for joining the Forums of HP and welcome! I would like to help.

    If the printer has passed the test of alignment, there is no need to run it again. If you don't know, or if you feel better to align a second time, you can use the following steps (you will need to print a fresh alignment page);

    1. On the printer control panel, press the arrow down () to select Tools, and then press OK.
  • HP OfficeJet 4630 e all-in-one: assigned without static IP

I think I picked the wrong pair tried to put a static ip address.

I assigned 10.0.0.244, and again when put it in my browser has a lot of things pop up, not the HP printer page.  Is it possible to change the IP address, now that I can't access the HP printer page?  I can't connect the printer to the network now.   I need help.

    Hello

From the front panel of the printer, use the arrow to select Wireless, and then press OK.

Select Advanced settings, then IP settings and chnge in automatically.

In the same menu wireless, select view wireless details and locate the IP address of the printer, which should be accessible from your browser.

If there is no IP address or the flashes blue wireless go to Wireless > Restore Defaults, then in the menu Wireles select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the steps to reconnect the printer... the IP address can be found as indicated above (see the Wireles details)

If it's travel accessible to your IP of the printer and select network, select network.

Click on the IP address and change the manual setting.

Click on the button suggest IP address and to confirm the changes to save the manual IP address (just keep the values suggested, it does not change).

  • HP Officejet 4630: HP Officejet 4630 than all the shortcuts to print are locked

The printer is new and is connected via the USB port on the computer that is running a new copy of Windows 10 x 64 ('fees': I've upgraded to Windows 10 and reset the computer). The driver is from the OJ4630_Basicx64_198.exe file (so just basic pilot). I can scan and I can print a diagnostic page, but I can't print anything else. All shortcuts printing have symbols locked beside them (please see attachment).

    Thank you!

Take a look at this link.

Regarding shortcuts locked, those are the shortcuts by default HP.

You to edit & save them under your own name of shortcut.

  • Fax: HP Officejet 8600 more (all in one wireless printer) operating system: windows 7 64-bit router/DSL Modem

It's my second printer of HP wireless. the main problem and the only problem is that whenever my phone rings responses of fax, which is very annoying, on hearing the tone while trying to answer the phone.  I followed the instructions exactly.  Have configured fax to answer on the 6th ring... auto answer set OFF... and yet he answers at all times when the phone rings.  I tried to turn off the printer and it happens again... even when the PC and the printer are out of service happens.

I'm on a DSL line with phone... have voicemail... have a home network...

    Hello

Given that you have tried to put off the printer and it still happens, I can hardly believe it's the printer the fax must be turned off, as all the other features of the device.

Please try to disconnect the telephone line from the port fax 1LINE and try the composition for your phone line... You will hear a fax tone?

If so, I'm afraid, he's probably not coming from the equipment to HP...

If you can see any change, reconnect the printer... Make sure that you connect the cable in 1LINE and not in any other port by mistake...

Also, make sure that you connect the cable from the phone using an ADSL micro filter... Make sure that the printer connected to port telephone filter and not in the ADSL port by mistake.

Please let me know of any changes,

    Shlomi

    Hello:

When I look at the support page for the driver for your model, it lists the same driver to download.

    http://h22207.www2.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-OfficeJet-5740-e-all-in-one-printer-series/6617253/model/6879017

I guess it covers the entire JO x 574 model series, and I noticed on the drivers of HP printer, which is not uncommon.

  • OfficeJet Pro 6978 all-in-one: OfficeJet Pro 6978 / will not download drivers

I just bought this printer Office Jet Pro 6978, All In One Printer.  It won't let me download the driver listed in the steps to implement, it fails every time.  I tried to use the CD that came with it, it gave me a message "this computer's operating system is not supported."   So this printer will not work on my 64-bit?  Or elsewhere?  My computer is a HP.  Where can I find a download driver for this printer for my operating system?  When it prints, it prints a nonsense.  % beginprolog % beginresource: file and so on with such things.  I am at a loss... Any help would be great.

    Hello

Sorry, but the printer is not supported on Windows Vista 64-bit.

64-bit support is only available in Windows 7 or later operating systems.

You can find the printer specs below:

    Vista 64-bit is not supported.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-6970-all-in-one-printer-series/8289585/model/11161264/document/c05061732/

You must upgrade your operating system to a later version to use instead an OS 64 - bit, Windows Vista 32 - bit to insall or replace it with another printer, compatible with your operating system.

    Respect,

    Shlomi
