• Problem with the Toshiba recovery process

  Hi guys,.

  I had some problems with my laptop and decided to return to the factory settings. But during the process, because of a few mistakes that I didn't understand, formatting process was broken and I guess that the recovery in my hard drive section was damaged. So, I could not use boot from the hard drive. Becacuse Toshiba did not give me recovery disk when I bought it, I had to boot the pc with cracked windows.   We have a database that has recently moved to the cloud and started having problems of query performance. I tried to detect possible bottlenecks at the level of the database and performance troubleshooting, by actively monitoring the execution of these queries, generate and analyze the AWR reports, tests of the optimizer to choose alternative plans, but even after the execution of Toad SQL Optimizer, no best execution plan found.

  We always have the former operational base for test purposes and the same queries, with the same exactly the execution plan, takes less than a minute to run, so that the production environment in the cloud lasts 42 minutes to complete. Session are not suspended, such that it is possible to check through V$ session, v$ sql and other sources.

  Here's the problem:

  After a comparison of control between the two databases, outside the platform, each of them is running, the only difference I could find was, these three parameters exist in the old production server and are not supported in RDS:

  My main questions are, a assumed these differences can be the root cause:

  How can I test the application against these parameters, to check whether or not the query uses on these parameters. Just as we can 'alter index index-name monitor usage'... to check if an index is used by a specific query.

  Note: The suggestion of: try disabling settings in the test environment and run the query cannot be done at this time, given that the dessert instance a large number of patterns that use of the Dev team. If other recommendations will be appreciated.

  I learned that from Oracle 10 G, the aggregation of hash function was introduced, driving the optimizer to choose UNIQUE HASH instead of SORT UNIQUE for queries containing the clause "SEPARATE." • Some problems with the execution of process OWB flow

  We have several process flows in OWB. The main process flow called several Sub process flow, for example MAIN_PRF (main process stream) PRF1, PRF2, FRP - 3, PRF4 and PRF5 and the sub process flows.
  
  Each of the 5 process flow run one after the other that is first PRF1, PRF2, next FRP - 3 and so on in the series. A few times when we run the MAIN_PRF main process flow, some of the streams of process gets skipped. For example, it runs PRF1, PRF2, PRF4, PRF5. It ignores the FRP-3. It's very irratic. Sometimes if redeploy us the process flow, it works very well. We do not know what causes this problem. We checked the IDS of transition state and everything seems OK.

  I think I know the problem, sometimes, when you remove and then add a few activities (subpro, cards), outgoing transitions blend. Right-click on your subprocess in your process Editor, click on edit details. Then out of the Transitions.
  You will see the next outgoing transition after execution of this unique process. If sure that the next thing that you want to run the command id 0, sometimes if there is more then one outgoing transition, they get the same value when remove you / add the process.

  You can change the command id by dragging the row up/down in the list.

  The question is as soon as I put async = False, my loading indicator stops working and the page looks like hanged for about 10 seconds. I want this to work with async = false. If I withdraw this statement, indicator of loading works fine. Can someone Guide, how can I use indicator of loading with async = false;

• Problem with registry vCenter CapacityIQ process

  I am trying to record the camera my 4.0 U1 installation vCenter CapacityIQ.

  The process fails with the error message "cannot find the value for the ciq_vc_va_id, 201 key field.

  I'm trying with vCenter IP address and domain FULL name and credentials used are administrator.

  Not sure if relevant but the unit is currently DHCP.

  I have attached a perl script that will delete the custom field that has entered an invalid state.

  Directions for use:

  1. download the file remove_custom_field.pm

  2. copy this file in the directory ciqadmin on the BC home

  If you are on a Unix machine, so you can use SCP: scp remove_custom_field.pm ciqadmin@CIQ_VA_IP :~/

  3 SSH on GOING and change the permissions of file for the file. chmod 744 remove_custom_field.pm

  4. run the script like:
