  3. sometimes Notepad starts very well, with the only graphic problem being the windows loading bar. When I go into Windows, the laptop pulls me a blue screen and stops immediately.

  5. If I open Device Manager and disable the graphics card, the laptop works very well. I have to lower the screen resolution and colors, but I can watch videos on youtube and everything. Finally, the laptop gets very hot on the bottom and the screen goes crazy again, so I turn the damn thing off.

  I don't know what that means! If my graphics card is broken, the screen should be all static, ALL the time? Not just sometimes more,... could sometimes less be some sort of communication problem between the graphics card and cpu? Please help me with this!

  Another thing I'm not sure about, even after reading the thread I linked above - can I replace the graphics card or not? Everyone said something different in the other thread...

  Edit: maybe I will add when I got the screen scrambled and everything. I installed Civilization 4, just to check if my satellite pro can handle, and everything went well for a while. The screen then haywire and I rebuilt my whole system, but display problems did not disappear completely. They were gone for almost a month, and now they are 'back' or something.

  I'm not a technician but here nobody needs technical knowledge to see that there certainly is hardware problem. I also believe that this problem occurs due to the graphics card. Graphics card is part of the motherboard and it cannot be traded separately. The entire motherboard must be exchanged.

  In my opinion, you have two options: either contact the authorized service provider in your country and speak with them, what can be done, or try to get the motherboard used. If you are lucky, you can find it on eBay. I already bought several hardware components for my old Satellite P10 on eBay.

• Satellite A660 - 1 HL-problems with the graphics card

  This is my first thread so I apologize if I am doing something wrong and for my bad English. :)

  Just bought a Toshiba Satellite A660 - 1 hl with two adapters, integrated and a GeForce GT 330 M. The integrated works well, but when I go to the dedicated I encounter problems. The non-adjustable resolution in optimal mode and windows in the operating system (windows 7) delays when moving. I can't get info on the map in all kinds of temperature programs or dxdiag and such others.

  I tried to install the drivers from nvidia, Toshiba and windows update with no improvement. I can't run Windows expreince index because I get an error message or of any average games do I encounter error messages there as well. I begin to doubt that the drivers installed even.

  I hope you guys can help out me :)

  You should test the RAM (memory) for problems using the Test of memory of Microsoft or the www.memtest.org (bootable CD).

  Just got this laptop for my wife and it's a nice piece of kit, but we 'problem' appeared makes me think that the SD card is defective.

  When an SD card is inserted on my HP laptop there is a noticeable "click" when the card locks into place, however my wife's cell phone is NO 'click' that makes removing the SD card pretty hard because he doesn't "popout" when you pushed to have to get your fingers on the edge of which There is not a lot that comes out and pull it out.

  Hey, so I spent recently to my laptop HP Pavilion of 15-n298sa of a windows 06:52 and she since has earned me an endless stream of problems, especially with my graphics card. As I am on break from uni I re-uploaded all my games on my computer and found that none of them bar those made before the middle of the 2000s, play for me and for all name them my graphics as being the problem - like solitaire spider fact etc. All have previously been playable, about a month ago, so I know that it shouldn't be a problem. I tried several times to install the graphics drivers (one-I can't remember their names - AMD would apparently install and that NVIDIA could not). When looking at the Info for the graphic drivers installed, "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" that it's 2006 so I guess that AMD, it has not actually installed / was done wrongly. I was wondering if someone could help me?

  BTW, I'm a complete technophobe and total so if you have an idea of what to do, I would appreciate it if you could put it in other words, because I am a plonker when it comes of this.

  It really sucks when you try to watch the news. Also, I put a CD or DVD into the laptop and it works perfectly. I can watch any DVD or listen to a GREAT Cd.

  How is your network connection?  Sometimes, the system needs to create a cache to store the downloaded information and if the download is not pass quickly enough the system will freeze while wiaiting for download to catch up - not a problem with your sound cards and video, but with the speed of Connection on the website or on the network itself (or your network equipment).  This looks like the case if the DVD and the CD's works fine.  Check your internet connection and try to download the video pages to see if the problem is with all the downloads, or only those on a site.  You can contact your ISP and have them help check you connection and settings and the modem for problems or changes, you can do to improve things. Sometimes happens to me as well in the internet connection runs slower than normal and there is nothing that I can do but wait to accelerate - and it's frustrating.

  You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get the drivers (and you need you to do all you have time to do, but at least the network card, sound card and video card - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), get the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/.   Ok.So the problem was that I found myself not being able to open My Nvidia Control Panel to verify customization as one of my games was so bad. That's why I found that my disappeared from Nvidia and Intel HD Core i3 graphics took place.

  You use the graphics card onboard because your monitor is connected to the video port badly. Turn off the system, unplug the video cable and connect it to the video card into the PCIe slot.

I also downloaded a few 3d Screensavers & they worked very well now, it is not able to open the screensaver because of the video card or to be compatible with Direct 3D... This question has not pop up until after you have installed windows 7, I have checked & found a lot of problems with windows 7 & ATI-RADEON XPRESS 200 SERIES drivers or recognition. Y at - it a fix for this, looks like it should be a matter of windows & microsoft should have action corrected problem because windows is caused this problem... • ATTENTION TO DEVELOPERS - PROBLEMS WITH THE SOUND CARD

  I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i6 audio card. I have before running on my Mac, version 5.0.3 (VMWARE) and everything worked. I've upgraded to the last version firmeware. And I tested this audio card on two different Macs with version 6, and the problem persisted!

  The sound card works perfectly in my MAC system with the latest drivers. But the problem remains FUSION version 6. I tested it on two different virtual machines with different operating systems, tested on two different Imacs and nothing back to work as before.

  After several tests, which detects the sound card works perfectly with his last official update from the manufacturer only with version 5.0.3 (VMWARE). With version 6, the problem persists.

  I am desperate because I work with music production and use software for windows in my MAC...

  Before uninstalling VMware Fusion 6.0 you must change the updated hardware Version from 10 to 9 for any Virtual Machine level.  Take a look on: Change the compatibility of a Virtual Machine

  Then uninstall VMware Fusion 6 and then install VMware Fusion 5.
