Problem recording ".dll" command prompt

I am trying to save a file ".dll" (ntdll.dll) with command prompt.

Whenever I enter the command 'regsvr32 ntdll.dll' in the command prompt, I get the error:

"The module 'ntdll.dll' was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. Make sure 'ntdll.dll' is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again later. »

How can I solve this problem?

Just because a file has a .dll extension does not mean that it is registrable (sorry Microsoft committed Support Engineer 'experts').

If the DLL does not have the regsvr32 program functions inside the DllRegisterServer() (and also DllUnRegisterServer()) don't know what to do with it - it does not make sense to save it so where the error message:

the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found

It was not because he is not inside the DLL you are trying to register.

Once, it was suggested that the message should be replaced by something like:

"Why are you trying to register this DLL? This is a standard Windows DLL, there is nothing to be saved"

You can use something like DLL Export Viewer and search to see if you can find any where DllRegisterServer in this file (and will not) then the 'expert' can explain why they suggested the idea in the first place.

Repeat the process on a DLL that is regsiterable as jscript.dll and you will find those that works inside so the jscript.dll file is recordable - no error no message there.

So if someone advises you to register ntdll.dll, you immediately know a few things:

1. they don't know what they are talking

2. they have not re-created your question themselves and solved by saving the ntdll.dll file

3. they did not attempt to their own advice to save ntdll.dll on their own system to see what is happening, or they know it does not work

Instead of referring to one other topic more impossible to work advice, that Microsoft hired Support Engineer 'expert' Jayant Gupta should to is take 10 seconds and see what they are trying to save the file ntdll.dll on their own system of whey and when they see that it does not does not suggest that do you because it will not work for you either.

Then when it does not explain why it works and give you a solution for how to register ntdll.dll but this will never happen because it's impossible.

What you should do all your problem with AC3SP . EXE is look out in the community of UBI or steam, where your error is discussed and not follow the impossible to work the advice of Microsoft hired Support Engineer 'expert' to register a DLL that it is impossible to register.

Now you have several committed Microsoft Support Engineer 'experts' giving you impossible knitting tips - save the ntdll.dll file... it won't work.

This opinion of "experts" as if by magic won't recordable ntdll.dll file:

Save the ntdll.dll (impossible)

sfc/scannow (not the problem = I do not know what the problem is or how to fix it)

Clean boot (does not have the missing function magically appear in ntdll.dll)

New user account (the missing function will not magically appear in ntdll.dll).

How these things will make a missing function appear in ntdll.dll?

How much time have you wasted on this view of the "expert"?

The error you see for AC3SP.exe "The procedure entry point RtlUnsubscribeWnfStateChangeNotification" means that AC3SP3.exe is looking in the ntdll.dll file you look than the function called RtlUnsubscribeWnfStateChangeNotification and find do not (and it is not on Windows 7 32 - but at least):

If you have an incompatibility of the files somewhere, you have incompatible version or AC3P3 installed or some update of Windows where this function is located in the ntdll.dll file is missing (and I don't know what it is).

    Neena,

For this wrong, first add the field to your report and run it. It runs?

If so create a prompt based on the field in your report and test this. If it works too, so you could try removing one field again in the report, if you get an error, you must include the field in your report and hide. You can hide through properties in a table view or drag it to the section excluded in a pivot table view.

  • I have a problem with the command prompt.

    Original title: cmd.exe

I have a system where this problem started a couple of weeks.   When I run a command to a command (any order), it displays the results as expected.  But if I run the command with "cmd /c command", for example "cmd /c date", the screen is erased before the result is displayed.  It is also a problem if I am using perl or python or any other tool when I run a system command and wait to capture the output.  There is always a pagefeed at the beginning of the output character.  Because this behavior started recently tried to restore the system to a point where I knew that this was not the case.   But that did not help.   Any ideas?

OK, you can ignore it.  I thought about it.   I had created an autorun.cmd file which included a cls command.

My power icon disappeared from my taskbar after a reboot. Following the advice of the Forum I turned on command prompt and asked the sfc/scannow.

    Hi Ronald,.

When you first start a new computer, the operating system typically runs Startup service initializations that can take anywhere from one to six hours to finish, depending on which applications are preloaded on the computer. Make sure that you give the operating system sufficient time to finish these Startup service initializations until you stop or restart the computer. This problem generally not happen once the operating system has completed initialization of all before background services is restarted.

I suggest you refer to the following article which has a few registry tweaks to solve the problem. Please follow the steps and check out them.

  • Problem with command prompt and installation

    Hello

I try to install Oracle Hyperion on windows server 2012 R2. I have the files downloaded on a single server. I traced this drive on another server. When I try to run the installation file "installtool.cmd" by right clicking and select "Run as Administrator", it does not start. I use a service account that has administrator rights and part of the local Administrators group on the server. However when I copied the files on the local disk, it starts. I have four servers in the deployment and I don't want to copy the binary files on all servers. Not sure why she does not launch when I launch from the mapped drive.

The other problem is that when I try to launch the command prompt (Admin) and try to change the disc on the mapped drive, it does not change. It gives me this error.

  • command prompt and high cpu utilization problems

I have an Acer Aspire laptop. Windows 7-64 bit. My CPU usage has been quite erratic for months. She sometimes becomes up to 4 or 5%, but most of the time, he is running between 50 and 100% (I have a counter on my desk). I've been running all kinds of tools and cleaning methods. I had McAfee antivirus for a prior year of minimal, but renewed problems a few months ago and found strange and annoying that he wouldn't be updated every day while I was working. I assumed something was wrong with her, so I replaced it with a program that I got for free with another purchase from Best Buy... Trend Micro, I think it was called. Well, it appeared that Trend Micro used more process and CPU than McAfee. At that time, I thought it would be safer and cleaner for Microsoft Security Essentials TM trade. I also have CCleaner installed and I run it every other day or two. I also run r-kill and tdsskiller a few times but never found something dangerous. I removed everything that I felt uncomfortable unused programs were safe to remove. The last thing that I see and which seems odd to me is that, at startup, a "command prompt" icon will appear briefly in my taskbar and then quickly go to 'start' 'recent '... I have never seen this before so it seems weird, like a clue any. Also in the last few days, usually online, but also with Solitair Windows offline. Either the cursor will freeze or the screen freezes making useless cursor, even for a moment, and sometimes I'll just "end task." I'm not a gamer, I mainly watch movies and videos... Try, anyway! What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..
The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?
It seems that your system has or has had a malware infection.
What is the issue that you are experiencing that you think that the system restore will be remedied (or you are just convenient)?  System Restore is not a time machine...
You should be able to get your system restore calendar works again quite easily, but who will not only relieve your system of malware.
Don't forget to fix the problem and the difficulty not only the symptom of the problem.
If you disabled the system restore and he turned his back, which removes all points existing restoration (this is how it is supposed to work).
I run a few scans of such malicious software indicated below, then work on all the remaining issues.
Sometimes malicious will afflict your system restore to prevent you to find and remove malware.  It would much rather you trick into thinking that you need to repair or reinstall your XP when it is not necessary.  System Restore is sometimes so afflicted, you need to reinstall the system restore (you don't have to reinstall XP - just reinstall the system restore).
No matter what you use for protection against malware, I do so and then only begin to solve any problems:

It can be uninstalled later if you wish.
Restart your system and resolve outstanding issues.
If your system restore calendar is always to show just a blank white screen, do the following:
The scans using own it may also be necessary to re-register some dll (or you can do this part first, but you still have to do the scans).
Re-record the dll is correct, even if they do not need re-registration.  You can also re-register the dll before the scans that can solve the problem, but the scans are always recommended.
Click Start, run, and in the box enter orders following one at a time.  Click the OK button to execute each command one at a time:
    regsvr32 jscript

The last order for mshtml load the DLL but can also contain a harmless warning depending on your environment.
Check your system restore calendar now.

I have not a cd ROM is there another way to solve this problem. Thank you people

Thank you for taking the time to make this post very informative, excellent. Without the machine test myself that I can't be sure, but based on the age of the computer and what you wrote I suspect for lack of material. It could be something simple like the hard drive or RAM or something more serious like the motherboard. I wouldn't recommend replacing any material on such an old laptop.

As long as the hard disk has been physically, you can recover your data easily. If the hard drive has failed, then you will need to send the drive to a professional drive savers data recovery company. It is quite expensive ($500-3700), but they can usually recover your data. Some insurance policies cover also, professional data recovery in order to check with yours. But let's be optimistic. ;-)

IMPORTANT - If there is no question that the drive is at fault - there are noises, for example - and the data is crucial NOTHING else ON THE DISC. Whenever launch you this player you can destroy data. If this is the case, send the drive to a professional data recovery company.

I'll give you the information on how to test the hard drive to see if it's good physically and how to recover data when you can't in Windows but in doing these things requires a certain level of computer skills. You know yourself the best and that it would be better to take the laptop to a competent local professional. If you do this, do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place. Get recommendations from family, friends and colleagues.

    A. test equipment

Test the hard drive with a diagnostic utility downloaded from site of the disc mftr. or use SeaTools for BACK of Seagate. You create a bootable CD with the files you download. You will need a third party burning software to do as the free ImgBurn, Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data.

    http://www.ImgBurn.com

    http://www.Seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/SeaTools/seatooldreg
    http://Seagate.custkb.com/Seagate/CRM/selfservice/search.jsp?docid=201271 (how-to)

Boot with the CD that you have done and do a full test of the reader. You will probably need to change the boot order. Your Dell can give you a temporary boot menu if you press F12 as the computer starts. If so, use your arrow key to select the CD drive. Otherwise, press F2 to enter in Setup (BIOS) and change the order of boot on the CD drive first. If the disk fails all physical tests, it must be replaced. Although readers of the laptop cost around $60, you should really consider if it is to put money in such an old machine. You can replace the disk, but the laptop is definitely at the end of its normal life and something else is doomed to failure.

There is information about the RAM test and other materials here:

    B. retrieve data detach a healthy disk when you are unable to Windows

1 remove the drive and put it in a box of USB drive or use a USB adapter. Attach it to a computer that is running a working XP/Vista/Windows7 installation. Use the work of Windows Explorer to copy the data to the hard drive of the system to the rescue and burn data on cd or dvd.

    2. you can start the target computer with a Bart PE (if you use XP) or a Linux live CD like Knoppix and retrieve the data in this way. General information about the use of Knoppix for this are:

You will need a computer with two cd records, which is an engraver of CD/DVD OR a USB stick with a capacity to hold your data OR an external USB hard disk formatted FAT32 (not NTFS) *. Download Knoppix .iso image file and create your bootable CD. If you do this in a previous (XP or Vista) operating system, you will need the third burning like Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn software (Windows 7 can burn .isos natively). Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Then boot with the CD that you created, and Knoppix will be able to see the files in Windows. If you use the USB key or an external hard disk, right-click on its icon (on the desktop) to get its properties and uncheck "read only". Then click on it to open it. Note that the mouse action by default in the window manager used by Knoppix (KDE) is a simple click to open instead of double-click traditional MS Windows. If you want to burn CD/DVDs, use the K3b program.

    * My understanding is that you can now write on NTFS from Linux partition. If you wish to do this, Google for instructions on the use of the NTFS driver.

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 in Windows 7.  Like so many thousands of people, I problelms of sleep mode.  Mine will not be auto-sleep.  It has been suggested that I saw to run command prompt: powercfg-applications

It supposedly will list the items running on your computer which can now be auto-sleep to work.  I tried several times and up to now, I get the same item displayed each time.  This is what is displayed: \device\harddiskvolume2\windows\sysWOW64\svchost.exe (hpqddsvc) is followed by this message: a file delete operation is underway

My first thought is that if there is an operation to remove file in progress all the time, it's maybe the reason why my computer is not auto-sleep.  If there is someone out there who can shed some light on this situation, I would appreciate the help.

    EUREKA * SOLVED

I found the answer to my problem!  After using the control system: powercfg-query and get the answer: \device\harddiskvolume2\windows\sysWOW64\svchost.exe (hpqddsvc) delete file operation is in progress

I started looking for whatever it is associated with the answer above.  In the Manager of tasks in respect of the services, I found the name of the file hpqddsvc, with a description of HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service was running.  When I stopped the task and re-tried in opt power standby mode, it worked correctly.  In the Configuration of the system (by typing msconfig at the run prompt) on the Services tab, I unchecked the box for HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service and rebooted the computer.  The service is no longer running.

I'm sure that this Service has been added to my computer when I downloaded the hp.com/support product detection tool .  The tool scans your computer to detect and identify HP products.

This can be useful to others who have the problem of the auto-sleep I've had.

For example, the cursor jumps oddly at the bottom of any list that I pull up and I can't ride him. The same things happen with another hard drive in the laptop. I scanned with several brands of security too... clear at all. IM wondering if its hardware, not software.

I even re formatted the hard drive of w7 since another laptop and started again but still the same thing. I have also attached another keyboard to the live system with the same problem. USB keyboards work but still control problems. USB mouse even.

I understand your question, the internal keyboard does not work, but you can use the external USB keyboard properly... don't you?

Well, in this case, the question is clear to me: the problem is caused by the fault of the internal keyboard.
From my point of view of the few he has no alternative option but in order to replace the internal keyboard.

  • Execution of multiple lines of command at the command prompt (windows)

    Hello

I'm vascular using the command prompt in the windows to try to send a command to the microcontroller that is connected through TCP connection.

I am able to use the normal cmd.exe to send the command but I am unable to send the command all successfully using labview.

The Vi. I use the exec.vi system found in the labview connectivity section.

Basically, I want to send is 'telnet A1' motion in the cmd.exe to establish a connection to the microcontroller, followed by "For A1 100 GO," which will be performed by the microcontroller to do what is necessary. But currently, the problem is that I can only establish a connection using the exec.vi system but can't send the second part of the message 'for A1 100 GB".

My command line, I tried typing is cme.exe /K telnet A1 & for A1 100 GB. It seems that labview is only able to run the first part of the command. Y at - there no alternatives?

Thank you for all your help.

I suspect that there are problems of synchronization with this code. Forst, you should clean it to the top because it is very difficult to follow. Cables are hidden under objects, this is a lot bigger than a view type and the code is usually very disorganized. I also suggest that you look at using a state machine, but also a structure of the event to intercept the user interface events such as the Start button.
