Problem restarting Windows explore!

So my problem is when im trying to look for something in my computer for example, I get a window with the warning or whether, this is called: windows Explorer crashed and after that: windows Explorer restarts.
I already tried a virus scan and orders cmd.exe and everything... but I still have the same question.
Then I tried the event viewer, but I don't really know how to use it properly, but I looked around and under custom views / administration activities and number of manifestations: 10230, so here's the schreenshoot of it. And the General thingy, I copied under events.

The failing application name: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.17567, time stamp: 0x4d672ee4
The failed module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18247, time stamp: 0x521eaf24
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Offset: 0 x 0000000000053290
ID of the process failed: 0 x %9
Start time of application vulnerabilities: 0 x % 10
The failing application path: %11
Path of the failing module: 12%
Report ID: 13%

I would be very happy if someone could help me!

Greetings swear!

Thanks for your time, but I acctually restored my old documents stand-alone and good sound now, so thanks anyway.

It will not create them. So ok, the next thing people say is running scandisk Sfc. Nope, BSOD in the course. Chkdsk? Nope, BSOD. during the. The greatest success in fixing something comes sfc running in safe mode with cmd prompt. He got to 100% and has absolutely nothing more. All this stems from the windows updates failed. But this latest issue is the water drop. Before the windows explore stopped working/restart loop, which prevents me from running damn near all executable on ANY startup mode, I was getting semi-fonctionnalites off safe mode with network. I was inside my damndest to try to solve the problems without paying a penny for the repair (because it's my operating system from windows to the 3rd address I got incredibly frustrated with questions and I'm NOT GOING to sink more money into the purchase/solve this *) but after a month of countless BSOD and failed system restore (BSOD on those too) I decided to say the * with it , it can still be used for browsing with chrome at least, since I found a way to activate the sounds of the internet registry. I had used it for about a month and realized that internet Explorer was causing in fact a kind of conflicts, because all applications requiring an i.e worked incorrectly, display of white windows resources that need to be pulled with knowledge then I tried to reinstall that is and makes the mistake of restarting, forget the automatic Windows Update. Well, I is none of that with this time and tried to turn off the pc before it started with nothing else than a glorified blue screening method. To restart, I got "windows is the restoration of changes", another reboot, then a "Welcome" I get started in the regular office, (not safe mode or anything like that) and he gives me a small white window with "custom settings" on it and literally nothing else. There are so many problems with this thing, I doubt that someone will be able to help in any way especially withouth minidumps the BSOD. But if there is something simple that I'm missing for at least the minimum functionality that I was getting out of it until windows update in ruins me, feel free to try to solve the problems. But ill be doomed if I buy another harddrive just to have more questions.

    Hello

Generally, this problem is caused due to hardware or software related issues. As you mentioned that you have completed the restoration of the system and sets the Explorer loo, I would like to know if the problem is resolved or not.

Regarding performance related questions, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it works for you.

    Method 1:

Try the procedure described in the following Microsoft Help article and check if that helps. This Microsoft Help article consists of the steps to optimize Windows to improve performance.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/optimize-Windows-better-performance#optimize-Windows-better-performance=Windows-7

    Method 2:

Put the computer to boot and check if the problem persists. This troubleshooting will help you find what third-party program or the app is the cause of this problem.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    Hello

This is mainly caused by an incompatible Shell Extension.

You can download this reg from my SkyDrive file:

    http://CID-128fc518635be2dc.SkyDrive.live.com/self.aspx/.public/Ms%20Foren/registry/WER%5E_Explorer.reg

and double click on the file to import. If you are unable to do this, run regedit.exe and import the registry file here!

When the Windows Explorer crashes, Windows Error Reporting Service [1] creates a dmp under C:\Localdumps. Please download the file to your public Skydrive folder [2] and post the link here. I take a look at the discharge with the debugger, maybe that I can see what Shell extension is the cause.

    Note:
    1) data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.

    2) after the boot minimum troubleshooting step, read the sections "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    3) when you do the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

    4) an upgrade on the spot is the final solution before you have to reinstall the operating system. Note that it takes as much time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.

Hope this information helps. Answer the post with an up-to-date issue report to help you further.

"Urgent" translates to "I have no backup and don't like to lose my files"? If Yes, then it is a good time to review your backup strategy, preferably before you suffer a major disaster.

What happens when you do so:

    1. click on the globe to start, and then type cmd.exe in the search box and press ENTER.
    2. type these commands exactly and press ENTER after each:

  • Problems with Windows Explorer and files?

FYI, I'm running 7 64 x SP1, I have Avast! antivirus and malwarebytes and CCleaner and aswMBR rootkit scanner.

Yesterday, I left my computer while doing research for a bite to eat and I came back and this error box titled "CScript.exe" Application error "and in the box, he said that the program could not start and press OK to close the program. It was the first time I saw this error, so I clicked on OK and didn't think much, until I went to research and decided to run a full on Avast scan and no viruses were found, so I decided to use malwarebytes to check and when I went to open it (it is in my Start menu... don't use it very often) he wouldn't run and all of a sudden I had this error as Explorer windows stopped working, he was checking for a solution, and it restarted itself. I thought it was weird, so I tried to run windows Defender got the exact same result - Defender would not and open windows Explorer stopped and restarted itself. I'm so gone to CCleaner (which surprisingly open upwards) to see if my registry was somehow screwed up, analyses to find errors and there was none. I checked the programs installed through CCleaner to see if maybe there is a program that appears as if by magic, and it was not all. So I ran my rootkit scanner and it wasn't rootkits but I saved the log file on my desktop and it does not open. Does not open the Task Manager, command prompt does not open, the center of the action does not open... nothing beneficial opens. While doing all this, the error "CScript.exe" jumped to the top about 3 or 4 times just randomly. I don't know what happened to the drive that is used to repair/reinstall windows, so it's a little out of the question. I considered to start Windows in safe mode and backup on a restore point, but have not yet tried. Any suggestions?

Good, well * seems * after booting in normal mode, the problem is resolved. exp works normally now, but let's see whether it is temporary or not.

  • Problem with Windows Explorer and the recorded files

When I save files from the internet and then open the folder with Windows Explorer in the backed up files, I find that WE consider not save them on my hard drive "change" more. I know it's strange, but I tend to retain files roughly in the order that I saved them, rather than by the name of the file or anything else. So now to manually change the files in a certain way, then save them to get them organized as I want. Of course, this can become very painful and long if I have a lot of files to organize this way. My question is: How can I get Windows to consider saving a file on my HDD as change? I use Firefox and updated recently, which may be the cause of the problem.

    Hi Flingle,

Were you able to save and access files correctly before you update Firefox?

You can create a new folder & try to download the file inside of Internet Explorer & check if the problem persists.

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

  • Is problem with Windows Explorer (not Internet Expl.) - possible to reinstall this software or update?

I have several problems which, after some time, can be attributed to a problem with the Windows Explorer (not: Internet Explorer)

    Examples:

-files are not finished (so that they remain in a queue forever) (this happens every time)

-When I try to replace a file from one directory to another this process is at a standstill (occurring rarely)

-When I shut down, I get a message that trying explore but unable to play the fine tune (sometimes)

-in Word, I get printer messages not responded or other problems with opening files-Word (sometimes).

Remarkable (?): boot in normal mode is always successful, even after the crash on shutdown.

    Question:

-is it possible to reinstall this software or update?

    - or something is needed to get a solution?

    Hi Niels,

    1. When did you start to question?

2 did you recent hardware or changes to the software of the system?

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

You can check if the problem occurs in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    Step 2:

If you are not faced with the question in safe mode, then you can try to perform a clean boot and check if it helps.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

In addition, after you fix the problem, you can see step 7 above to restore your computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Method 2:

If you are faced with the question in safe mode, you can run a Checkdisk to see if there are drive errors that can cause this problem.

Check your hard drive for errors

Note: When you run the disk check, there are chances of losing data if you can take a backup before starting the checkdisk.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above
It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

  • Why Adobe Creative Cloud restart windows Explorer when it is upgraded?

Every time there is an upgrade of the application Adobe Creative Cloud (not individual apps) it still restarts my process from windows explore. I would probably not so angry, but there are applications unrelated to 1 or 2 that have the tray icons that disappear if I kill the process explore and restart (what does CC update).

The goal is to have download and install creative tools like Photoshop and Illustrator be as seemless as possible. In order to allow a 1-click Download & install from the browser of any of the Office applications in the cloud of Creative, the browser must recognize a specific Protocol in the URL and launch Manager appropriate for this Protocol. To do this, the browser needs a plugin installed.

Some browsers will detect the new installation of a plugin and load correctly without having to restart the browser. Some need page reload. Some require the restart of the browser (which is where I think that IE land).

In addition, we have crossed a number of bugs in the area over the last two months where IE has a lock on some errors installation resources and local causes for VAC. restarting the browser eliminates these errors.

All that being said, he's clearly work that we must do to improve the workflow of updating CCA - both in terms of reliability and user experience. It's a high priority work for the ACC team right now and you should regularly expect improvements in the coming months. I do not expect stop us resarting IE anytime in the near future well that, for the reasons explained above.

    Hello Donald,.

Explorer is an integral part of Windows, and you cannot uninstall it. To answer your concerns however, I wonder if you have a malware or virus infection? To check these I recommend the following:

    Malwarebytes' anti-malware: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html.

    SuperAntiSpyware: http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html.

Most run name you use as an antivirus (I use Avast: http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Free-Antivirus/3000-2239_4-10019223.html).

Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards
