Problem signing key

I am new to Blackberry App dev. I use Blackberry JDE App development. I develop several application creating different projects in a workspace. Each application uses controlled APIs. So I need key for them signing. If I buy a single set of the signature key, can I put for all projects and run all the applications of terminal BlackBerry?

You only need a set of signature keys. You can sign each app that you are working on the same set

  • Problem with keys (do not sign at all) signature

    Hello

I have a pretty old set BBOS signature keys (created 14. August 2009) and I used it for the signature of long years. Since yesterday I can't sign, SigningTool stays to "receive application" forever. No error, nothing, even if I enter the wrong password key. The app is created with JDE 6.0, there are actually only the key RBB.

I even open sigtool.db with a text editor and tried to change the URL inside rim.net at blackberry.net, but again no luck

Should I just ordered new signing keys or is it possible to fix the signature?

    Thank you.

This is probably due to a problem of version of Java.  Take a look at the article below for details.  Let us know if you're still having problems.

  • Lost signing keys

I have a question, I have published several versions of a product... I lose my sigtool files so I asked new code signing files, I have already installed the new keys, so I would like to know if is there any problem if I register my files with this new key at the time release a new version of the product?

    Thanks in advance!

If it is an application BBOS, you can sign the new version with keys no problem different code signing.  Code signing keys should remain the same for BlackBerry 10 applications.

Also note that [email protected] is no longer controlled.

  • New signing keys

    Hey guys

Thank you for your support, the last time I had questions.

I have developed many applications PlayBook with WebWorks.

Today, I wanted to get one of them running on my DevAlpha camera.

I had the same problem as this guy here:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/testing-and-deployment/ripple-deploy-to-BB10-dev-Alpha-failur...

    Here's my output terminal:

    Building:

I ordered new signing keys because mine were only for PlayBook and I needed for BB10.

Then I started GraphicalAid, implemented the last SDK to WebWorks BB10 as 'BlackBerry WebWorks SDK location' and click "Start the Configuration Wizard".

On the last step, I was able to click on "Register New Keys".

    Here comes the problem.

Luckily the program told me this:

"(!) ATTENTION: this action will cancel the registration of that computer, making it impossible to sign applications.  To continue signing applications and the creation of debugging tokens, you must re-enroll to the: http://www.blackberry.com/go/codesigning after re-registration, new versions of your applications appear as new applications, not upgrades, and will not have access to shared data from previous versions.  Are you sure you want to delete your current keys? »

Now, I want to be able to get the BB10 apps running but I also want to be able to release future updates of my PlayBook applications. If updates recognized as new apps I can't use them as updates.

So I have not deleted my key of course, but now I can't test stuff on my DevAlpha using my DebugToken.

I thought it might be because I used BlackBerry Tablet OS graphical help but I don't know too much about.

    Any suggestion guys?

    Please help me.

  • BlackBerry signing key IO exception when you save the new key to the file

I have blackberry signing key IO exception when you save the new key file when trying to get my keys. I read the other post - I do not use Windows Vista and JDE component package is installed on my machine. What now?

It was a windows 7 resolved permission problem

  • Code signing keys can be used on more than a developer (different PC)?

    Hello

I applied for a set of code a long time ago signing keys.

I installed them on the JDE on my computer... and I was able to migrate them to my new computer always on the JDE, then on the eJDE thereafter.  I had a few problems of migration of these keys, but everything is working well now, I am able to sign my application.

Now, I have a colleague who wants to develop an application using Widgets and there need code signing keys as well.  Can I just send my key itself?  Or he must apply to his own set of keys?

In other words, the code signing keys used to identify a company or developer?

    Thank you!

Each developer must have their own set of BlackBerry Code signing keys.  Sharing the key is against the license agreement.

  • RIM Web site won't let me download the code signing key

I had to move to a new computer.  Won't spend my old code key signature RIM, and RIM will not respond to requests to replace.  I'm paying $20 and get new code signing keys.  Whenever I have the form with credit card information, it goes to a screen of error (internal error) and told me to try again in a few minutes.  (After that it clears the form data)

It is futile to try again.  The site is broken.  I have a request signed on App World I would like to update.

Any ideas?  Any developer support phone numbers that work?

    Thank you

    Gerry

[email protected] is usually fast enough.

You can also try another browser, I had problems with opera and finally with firefox.

usually, you should be able to copy all the sigtool.* files to your new PC

  • The process of code signing keys

    Hi all!

I signed up recently on the forum and I also recently ordered my code signing keys.  To bring added value and we hope to answer my question, I thought that I turn this message in a topic ' what is the process of Code signing?  The best of my knowledge, I expose the steps as follows:

    1. developer fills web form and order of keys to Code signing by credit card

2 automated response sent back by RIM to the e-mail address of the developer [filled in the form e-mail address]

    3. within 10 days, 3 emails are sent from the owner each containing a Code signing key

I appreciate your comments provided by senior members of the forum to help complete this process.

To get to my problem, I'm stuck on step 2 above.  I has not received a response from RIM about my purchase.  I am very sure that my credit card account has been charged because my card company called me 5 minutes after sending the form, and I checked the transaction as legitimate.  I am currently at day 7 of waiting for 10 days and was eager to follow the application process and was looking for some advice on where to start my research.  Is there a specific department within the RIM, I should post?  If so, if someone in the know could send me this email address, I'd be much obliged.

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Kind regards

    Sheran

Sorry to post this late reply.  The keys arrived 3 days after my message.  Thought that I would close this thread.

  • Loading in Eclipse signing keys

I received my two SJC files for signature by e-mail. Eclipse asks a .zip file when you request the signing keys. I checked the docs and I can't find information on how to create this .zip file or what steps I have to take after receiving the email. I followed the link to the help key signature page, but there seems to be no section for the native SDK.

What should I do after receiving the SJC files?

    Thank you
    Scott

These temporary files in order to activate your account, after activation, you can throw away them.

To activate start IDE, go α fenΩtre-> preferences-> BlackBerry Tablet OS->

Then click on the link that activates the wizard. Follow the wizard, asked about the signature

    the option key

"You have not been saved...". »

It will prompt for the CSJ files and create all the necessary things.
