I have a problem of access to the Outlook account and other pages because appears "certificate error" what's happened with these certificates? Help please.
There are two main reasons for the mistakes of certificate:
- Your computer's time is not set correctly. Check your time year/month/day/hour/minute/timezone/light of day. Right-click on the clock in your taskbar and select "set Date/time" and make sure you are ready approximately 5 minutes of real time (don't forget time zone and DST).
- The second reason is that Windows XP is not very good for updating root certificates. Go to the following site:
<>http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/931125 >
and go down to the section:
'Update Package root (designed for Windows XP only)'
There is a link, you can use to download a update for your root certificates package. Download this package and double-click it to update.

Start the computer to black screen and the computer runs hot
original title: sick Vista laptop
My daughter portable computer began acting strangely very yesterday.
Once connected, I get a black screen and a cursor. The system seems to work at full speed, because I can hear the fan, and it runs very hot. No matter how long it sits, the desktop does not appear.
I can use Ctrl-alt-del to display the Task Manager. The list of processes is limited to the process of the current user, and none of them use important CPU. If I click on 'See the process for all users', taskmanager freezes and I have to disconnect to get rid of him.
Using the Task Manager, I can kill the process Explorer and then start it again, date at which I get my desktop. However, it is still running hot and noisy. With the help of SysInternals ProcessExplorer, there is no process using any important CPU. Most of the time CPU is reported as inactive.
I don't know what to think. A boot loader took over the system? A hardware problem? OS corrupted files?
Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.
Restore point:
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/
Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm
Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
See you soon.
I have problem starting (windows 7) without black screen
I installed windows 7 on my laptop (which supports windows 7), 2 years ago. 1 year, I installed a game on that laptop, my laptop was ok. A few months ago, I opened my computer and this happened to me: (check the picture in the link. All my shortcuts in my home page are white, sometimes they still do not appear, the windows key is white, I can't open, install any programs, unless I run it in safe mode, or make the system restore). I start in safe mode, I deleted the game and my laptop had no problems starting. I opened my computer 3 days ago, he had the same problem again and this time, my shortcuts are not yet available in my home page. If I do the system restore, it will be ok, but when I disable it, it will happen the same problem. I tried startup repair, but it cannot detect all problems.
I had 2, the two 90 GB HDD, 1 is empty, the other is half empty (45 GB), my RAM is 4 GB, it uses only 3 GB, recently spent 2 to 4 GB RAM.
Is there a way get fix this, without a format?http://ImageShack.us/photo/my-images/16/90522409.PNG/I did not install Kaspersky Anti-virus. TDDSKiller is just a small Kaspersky utility designed to search for infections of rootkit that is the worst piece of infection right now. Your computer might be infected with one.
(In addition, repeat steps 2) and 3).If they don't work, then perform a new installation of your windows.Good luck! -
Start white screen and other problems
I don't know what exactly caused this do. I turned on my computer as usual, but instead of start normally, the computer showed the tutorial screen that you see when you start your computer for the first time.
When I went, I found that all applications on my startup screen have disappeared, the only thing that came with a result when you use the search tool is Google Chrome. More of this, I am unable to access or change the settings for my PC, create new folders, etc. (the drop down just 'empty' bed) or pin programs to my taskbar. My desktop items also have this box little pop up next to them when I hover over them.
I started my computer in safe mode, but the problem still persists.
Help would be greatly appreciated.Brilliant Hello,
Thank you for the update on the issue.
According to the result of the scan SFC that he managed to find some damaged files, but could not fix some of them, it means that there is a corruption with your system files. To go further and to repair system files, so I suggest you run the DISM commands and see the are able to repair system files.
Maintenance of the images of deployment and management (DISM) installs, uninstalls, configures, and updates features and CBS packages in Standard Windows 8 Embedded images (standard 8) offline and offline Windows Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) 4.0 images. The commands and options that are available for servicing an image depending on whether the image is offline or online. All controls operate on a standard 8 offline image. Subsets of commands are available for the maintenance of an operating system.
I suggest you run the commands in elevated command prompt and control below if this can help.
- Press Windows key and X at the same time.
- Choose line (Admin) command on the shortcut menu.
- In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
DISM / Online/Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth.
This command is used to check if an image is repairable. Scan the image to check corruption. This operation may take several minutes.
DISM / Online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
This command is used to repair an image.
Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
I have activated the user 'root '. It was an attempt (for the sake of granddaughter age) to check its history since I am the administrator. Realizing that this method was much more complicated than what I am capable of managing, I returned the utility program directory and disabled the user 'root '. I thought that everything was ok, as I did not made anything while connected as user 'root '. Instead, restart the computer, all users, including myself were no longer at the start. The only point was a blank user name and password. No picture. No guest. No user. How to return those and I did something to cause this?
Else you being logged in as root?
Activation and deactivation, then root should not have caused that.
Also, having allowed root is one of the ways you get a login screen showing only the name and the password.
You should be able to type in your user name and password to connect.
One time connected, check users & groups system prefs, Connection Options and make sure he's on the list of users. You will have to click on the padlock at the bottom to make changes.
My computer is Windows 7-64 bit.
I recently installed the Moon pale x 64 on the right site.
Everything works fine, except that the "icon" of the particles in the taskbar and start menu is not the blue moon. I wonder why this is and how I can change it.
This occurred during the installation of the particles.Best is to ask PaleMoon support about it.
http://Forum.Palemoon.org/PaleMoon is not an official project of Mozilla, is a 3rd generation of part 'Community' that is "powered by Mozilla".
As indicated in the title, I bought a ti 750 gtx.
N750Ti-2GD5/OC
The machine had a 620 in gt and works very well with it in. When I install the ti 750 gtx, however, the boot system hangs on a black screen with cursor / underscores and a single beep.
The system is a h8 1203, with a power of 460.
I also have a gts 250, that also installs and works fine. Ive read a little, and there is a problem with this map and the hp system? something about the type of bios? I couldn't quite follow what has been said.
Hello
If you upgrade to Windows 8 (UEFI-mode Setup) and apply the BIOS posted updated so you should be able to work to the video card.
Don't forget to create a set of external support of HP recovery before installing a new operating system.
Start the gray rotating applications screen and return to start
When I try to play some of my games win8 like jet pack or riptide GP joyride, they just go to their screen loading for a few seconds, then the turn gray and just computing dates back to the early. I activated all the .net infrastructure features in programs and features in Control Panel, but it does not work. but the games work when I put them in short mode, as pictured in this link
If they work perfectly in this mode with an aspect ratio screwed up, I don't see why it should not work full screenHello
What is the brand and model of your computer?
Check if the screen resolution is set at 1366 * 768 or more.
a. right click on the desktop screen resolution, select.
b. check if the resolution is set to 1366 * 768 or more than that.
c. If it is not set to 1366 * 768, change it to 1366 * 768. It is the necessary minimum resolution for Metro applications; they may not work properly when the resolution is lower.
If the problem persists, I you suggest to visit the manufacturer's Web site and install the drivers for your video card updated, then check if the problem persists.
Hope that the information provided is useful. If the problem persists, come in and we will be happy to help you.
