Problem starting of an ASA (9.0) config file to disk1

The State of Cisco web site:

By default, the ASA boots a boot configuration which is a hidden file. You can also set any configuration to the startup configuration by entering the following command:

HostName (config) # boot config {disk0: / | disk1: /} [path/]filename

When I put this command, wr mem and reload the ASA, it does not come to the top with the correct configuration.
It comes up with the old configuration, and it also to zero the curve on the corresponding on my disk1.

config reg is set to 0x1.

What Miss me?

Hi Jimmyc_2,

First copy the running configuration file in disk0/1/or no matter what path you want, and then start the command config like below.

copy, run disk0:/.private/startup-config
boot config disk0:/.private/startup-config
WR mem

I think that changes to configuration boot path commands where ASA can extract the default startup configuration file, it will load hidden file, but if change you it during boot, it will take care of the place where you explicitly set.

See JW Stuart's response to you.

The virtual machine was initially hosted on a server ESXi where it was transformed to the FVO. In case it's useful, I enclose the complete log. Any help/pointers will be highly appreciated!

Yes, it is safe to enable VT - x in BIOS and you will have to in order to run 64-bit comments operating systems. (Processor required for host systems)

Also once activated VT - x you have to completely turn off the host, reboot not only.

After that other things to consider is to detach the following in the .vmx config file (if only temporarily) and if need be, for the test to disable 3D acceleration too.

    svga.maxWidth = "1280".

    svga.maxHeight = "1024".

    svga.vramSize = "5242880".

BTW I don't necessarily update the BIOS unless the manufacture recommends that or it is a case when a newer BIOS allows for VT - x to be activated as does not have an earlier version.  If you've never updated a BIOS before, then I would say that you do not yourself unless you absolutely know what you are doing!

You can attach your VMMARK2.config file?  Also, what are the versions of STAF and STAX do you use?  Finally, can you confirm that on your client0 c:\vclient0\mailserver\vmmark2template.xml exists and that it is in this exact path?

Printing all other functions work ok. The problem isn't when you use them Internet Explorer. The other program is on the Aflacs website, and the problem is very similar. When I click on the text stating "Print copy of invoice", nothing happens, as the text of the Bank. Both work perfectly with Internet Explorer. The problem started about 2 days ago. • My iPad has been slow and unstable. What can I do if this is caused by a virus from the Internet because that is what I suspect. The problem started after a message like "scripts to run.

My iPad has been slow and unstable - it actually seems to be hung when I use it. Once I put it, a blue line with four faces (which forms a rectangle or square) appears on the display and moves as he tries to anticipate my next actions or touch on the scree. All started about four days ago while I was downloading of articles in google scholar. A message that reflects something as "run scripts" or "scripts to run" appeared just before the problem started. Please advise on what I can do.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

    Hi kkle4,

You use the preinstalled version of Windows 7 in Toshiba? I can t find any information in your posting on OS :(

Otherwise I agree with Akuma and you should check the BIOS version and probably an update would be useful. Before you begin to update of the BIOS here are some useful tips:
-Close all running programs (also, antivirus, firewall, etc.)
-Make sure that you are logged on as an administrator
-Unzip all files from zip archive
-Connect the AC adapter before you can update the BIOS and make sure the battery is fully charged

  • Problem starting Equium L40

    Hello

I use F1 to start my Equium L40 every time I tun turn it on. It will then start ok but he forgot the time and date, as soon as I update time / date, the computer works perfectly I can access all my email etc accounts without having to put anything.

The problem started after the replacement of the battery because of that being almost completely dead. I noticed that the computer will not work on AC only without mounted battey but is still charging the battery ok. (if the adapter is ok)

I love the computer and do not really want to buy a new, but it is very frustrating and tedious when I turn it on.

Maybe there is a battery backup I can change to fix the problem?

    Any help would be appreciated?

    Hello

Laptop should also work without battery but connected to the power adapter
So I guess that your motherboard is affected in some way.

If the RTC battery (bios) is empty, the time and date in the BIOS menu would be reset to the default value. But in my opinion, this shouldn't be a problem to use the laptop with AC adapter.

However, the RTC battery can be charged to do that you need to connect the main battery and power adapter and the laptop must be turned on for a longer period of time (18-20 hours).

    Check it out!

You don't want in this file.  Ads by Call Builder is malware that opens the ads on your computer.  If you encounter this error, then it is likely that you have an antivirus/antimalware program which was removed from your computer, but left the startup item.  More information on Call Builder, and how to remove can be found here.

To remove this item from your startup list, follow these steps:

    System (Windows 7) Configuration utility

    1. In the start search box, type MSCONFIG and press ENTER.
    2. Click the Startup tab.
    3. Uncheck the items you want to run at startup.
    4. When you have finished your selections, click OK.
    5. In the box that appears, click on restart to restart your computer.
