  The BIOS of the laptop does not support something like that.

He simply refuses to recognize and when asked just indicates that the disk must be damaged or corrupted. All the tested discs (all 8 of them) worked properly on three other machines, which rules out a problem with the discs.
  Also it does not read discs written, he recognizes DVD-R Virgin and allows me to write for them. indeed written afetr and refuse 2 discs, one with Drag & drop, the other with WinDVD Creater 2, the system refused to recognize. However, they worked correctly on other machines.

  What Service Pack is installed? SP1 or SP2.

  As far as I know, if you installed SP2, you make updates to preinstalled programs.

  How many burning programs installed, Drag & Drop, WinDVD Creator. What else?
