Problem with bootcamp partition resized

I recently resized my bootcamp with winclone partition to accommodate a few extra steam games. Alls works fine when I boot into via bootcamp, but merger throws an error (I've included a screenshot).

Any advice?

I tried to delete the file he is mentioned, but then it gives an error of missing file.

Thank you guys

Try this: Quit VMWare Fusion using its menu Quit to make sure it is not running.  Then delete (or move to the temp directory of the library directory) all 'Boot Camp' directory and its files under your direction... Home / Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/puis start Fusion, and he should be able to find the boot camp partition and recreate the folder structure you have deleted or moved.  You may have to redo you settings for this virtual machine, but it's easy.

I tried many door routes stealth to install Windows 10 on my iMac (21.5 inch, mid-2011; 1 TB SATA disk), which seems to be not taken in charge by Apple. Whenever I try to use Bootcamp to try to establish a partition, in the end it cuts and force restarts my computer.

I decided to make my own (150 GB, FAT MS-DOS) partition and a bootable USB stick with all the files .iso on it. The bootable USB key works very well and can get into Boot EFI without problem. The score, according to the EFI boot and Windows Installer, "has a table of MBR partition...". [and] Windows can only be installed on GPT disks. »

I tried to format the partition to NTFS by using the command-line Windows, such as proposed in the link below, but after downloading the Tuxera NTFS file to move the .iso to the Windows partition image file (I guess to make its own bootable drive) the drive itself is not started.

In fact, the Windows partition came not in the start screen (hosting option after reboot OR allowing the computer initiate by itself).

After trying to format this partition using the Windows command line, Windows begins to remove it and provides the same error message. I activated the command 'csrutil disable' in Recovery Mode in order to bypass the Protection of the integrity of the system, I found that some users of El Capitan were problems with this.

I was not able to proceed to the question since this last error and I'm not sure how to proceed, especially because I don't want to lose my data on my Mac hard drive. If anyone knows any information on how I should proceed, please let me know!

    1. you use Boot EFI on a preUEFI computer.

    2. to help TO do a FAT32 partition will also create a hybrid MBR. Please after the release of

    sudo fdisk/dev/disk0

    3. you need not of Tuxera, because Windows install has already the ability to convert FAT to NTFS.

    4. your built-in optical drive works? If so, your W10 ISO burn to a physical DVD and try to follow the standard installation of the BCA.

  • Problem with Bootcamp 6.0.2

    Hello everyone

I have a problem with my MBA. I have a Windows 7 partition with bootcamp assistant, but during the process, I have this problem: "no boot device, press any key to continue"

I looked on the net, they said stop to reboot but nothing happens. I'm pretty sure that the problem is the computer not my USB (tested on another computer).

    Does anyone have an idea?

    Thanks in advance.

    What year is your MBA?

  • Is that a catastrophic problem with BootCamp / virtual machines or something else?

Just had a catasrophic with BootCamp problem

My MBP was running a bit lazy, so Apple gave me a few instructions on how to fix this, including linking the installation discs for the disk utility and empty all of my folders cache under OSX.  Don't know if any of this slow and crashing was something to do with the installation of the latest update to OSX

All of a sudden when I came back to Windows in the usual manner, the installation of windows in the VM required activation. Needless to say I had to activate windows every time I spent Bootcamp in OSX and/or then the merger to get to Windows, I had to re-activate so finally that Microsoft is beginning to think that someone is to install Windows on multiple computers and telephone activation becomes a nightmare.

But even worse, when I managed to understand what product key that I used for bootcamp and started windows, EACH CONFIGURATION MADE OVER A YEAR or so AND EACH SOFTWARE INSTALLATION HAD DISAPPEARED, I HAD!  Without a windows installation process, I've been frame with a soft-install windows desktop with all my lost favorites. Leading to an even bigger nightmare in the re-installation of hundreds of evidence hours of software.  He had two meager records to show that I was in the right place and that everything is not contained in another folder and a file or two, but I wonder if all these installation information is contained in a cache in the directory structure Active Directory OSX? If so, is it possible to identify the files or the folders in which cache directory must be saved?

If this is the case, I never dreamed that something to do with the windows installation was contained in the OSX directory structure?  Surely if this is the case, there should be a strong warning on it?   Admittedlythe Windows Setup WAS a bit slow before the "incident", but I doubt that there is something deeply wrong, and in any event I ran just a fully updated Adaware and Spybot so this problem is probably not a virus. (I don't use email merge)

If this is the case, is - can anyone identify records needing backup before you empty the caches under OSX?  I don't think THAT many here would have been recovered by the take a snapshot could it? (anyway, I could not in windows without this activation)

FWIW, the only way I can see what is a matter of merger is if by chance you're under Fusion 2.0.0, which had a fatal flaw it would partition Boot Camp Virtual Machine to take a snap, and if you did not start in native mode again you probably will not notice immediately that all changes have been written in a disc rather than the disc file physics itself and then if we deleted the virtual Boot Camp Machine partition a situation such that you described could have similar results.

Another thing to look at is C:\Program Files in the Windows directory and see if it contains all the applications you have installed once and if she doesn't then it's quite possible that you run Windows from a default registry hive, which of course contains no information on changes since Windows has been installed but you have really not provide adequate details on what you were in fact under the leadership of Apple technology to get where you currently are, so there is not much that I can offer.

  • Problem with Bootcamp

Hello, I have a late 2013 15 "Macbook Pro. Creating a partition using boot camp, the laptop screen went black, but I could see a non-mobile mouse pointer.  Fans on the Macbook Pro started to turn very hard.

I gave him a few minutes, but nothing did, then I hit the power button.  After the laptop came back upward, I noticed that a partition has been created called "BOOTCAMP".

I rebooted the laptop, press the "Option" key and Windows 10 setup via USB.  However, after entering my product key (I bought 10 Windows on USB key), I get a message that says something like: "No found images."  To install Windows, I use a custom USB key that I used with BootCamp.  I think I don't need to use the USB that was in the box of Windows 10.

I don't know what happened here and wanted to know if someone could provide assistance.  Thank you!

I am not sure, but I think that this happens when the key cannot be validated with microsoft.

Try to enter the product key and see if you can then install windows 10 and then try to activate later.

  • Problems with Bootcamp

I had some problems with windows, so I decided to do a new install. This is where my trouble started:

The bootcamp assistant does not display the installation image option, as my mid 2011 has a superdrive iMac internal. But unfortunately this disc can not read more dads since updating to OS X 10.11.2... My only chance was to install windows by using an external drive. But I have also had no success with it. The Bootcamp Assistant worked as usual, but the iMac is restarted, the installation disc could not be founded.

Is there a solution to this? can I turn my internal Superdrive to activate the image installagen method? is there a way using the external drive for this or is there a solution to my problem with the player great?

    Help, please...

Then when you use Word, I click on round top of page logo for print or save etc. He left the program.

Most of the time I use my computer with Vista Ultimate.

It is clear that double click occurred sometimes when you use the left button of the mouse.
First of all, in Control Panel / mouse properties trying to adjust the speed of the double click on the tab buttons.  If the problem persists, try a different mouse.   This problem is sometimes a hardware problem with the mouse itself.

I have HP DV6 6051ea laptop, my problem is when I try to recover my OS (win7 Home Premium) provided that the factory by the recovery partition, it says use created recovery disc. I created them but I really ned to use the partiton to recover OS not Disk. Please help me solve the problem.

Sorry, I don't have your answer. If you have the recovery partition INTEC and no manor goes to MBR (not yet cleaned), NICU f11 is the option.

If the f11 also doesn't work, I have a work around but there is no bail if it can work in all cases.

Use winpe using USB or CD (you can download for free the winpe image of all the online sites such as BartPE. and create disc/USB using image writer). Now start your PC with this application image and launch ghost32 (most of the images online has already, if not download ghost32 utility to use and copy it to USB).

Once the Ghost is running, disk/partition image. give the location of the source ofrecovery partition) and the partition of the destination in the drive c. which will extract the image of C:

    Good luck!!!

  • Problem with recovery Partition(After i got a Virus)

    Hi all

I use HP Envy 15 laptop with windows 7 Home premium x 64 bit installed. I don't create the recovery discs since I've had this laptop and what happened is that I had a virus on the internet but I have fixed almost all the defects of the system caused by the latter, but the main problem for me, is that it changes all the Player main file name in Virus1232 for example (d:\recovery converted d:\virus1234) and I spent hours on the internet for the names of folders and files right and I got them all but only a single file, not sure. My problem is when I enter the Recovery Manager it detects none my recovery partition (but the virus is not responsible for any deletion of file it just caused some change system) and just to talk I've also corrected the names of folders and files in the c: drive, since they are necessary also.

What are the names of files I got in the D: drive: bootmgr - BT_HP.flg - CSP. DAT - DeployRp.log - HPSF_Rep.txt - language.ini. and let him file name is the one im not sure of: "HP_WSD.dat" (it's a file of size zero).

    The recoverymgrdump.txt just works & "leaving CSBRMgr::GetRPTOOLPartIndex!
    then he said to me:

"Win32 System Info Code = 3, Message Info = the system does not have the specified path."

    and he also said:

    "CSBRMgr::HpcdFlgIsExistInUP : \WINDOWS\hpdrcu.prc does not exist."

I don't know if this is normal, but also the deployrp.log gives me this error:

"The package does not exist: c:\RM\Tools\DeployRp\WinPE_LangPacks\64\winpe-setup.cab.

of course there are errors more in both files, but I guess that those who are the most important.

So my question is: the attributes of file in the d: drive would be responsible for this error (I changed all the attributes to be hidden and read-only system)

    OR

If anyone has a solution please tell me what to do.

    Thank you.

  • Problem with the scale/resize the masks

    Win 7 64 bit, CS5.1

This question relates to the updated scale/resize the layers with masks. I have a layer with a mask that only shows part of the image, so the majority of the mask is black. However, when I resize the layer (with linked mask), Photoshop changes the mask so that areas once black become white, except for the area around the part that has been hidden behind.

Below are screenshots of the before - after a sample mask.

    Before:

    mask-before.jpg

    After:

    mask-after.jpg

This example shows what happens to the mask using the Image > Image size of dialogue, which I would have assumed would fully respect the layout of the mask, but does not work. I also have the same problem when you use the transform tools. I also tried to change the permission of foreground/background colors to resize, just to see if it has auto-fill of the mask with white, but I saw no effect by changing or reversing the values.

I am hoping there is a single place or a preference to prevent this behavior and respect for implementing page-fill masks when resizing. I appreciate any assistance.

This is probably the reason why your seeing this behavior.

If you add a layer mask > hide all, or invert the layer mask if you are using a layer mask > show all (even just by clicking on the button layer mask), just use Ctrl > I (Image > adjustments > invert) to reverse the layer mask.

So you probably won't see this issue.
