  I've recently updated to RoboHelp v7. I have a project which was converted from v6. I added three new ID card for the project. Two of them worked, but the third does not. Everything was going well, he has not just anything to appear. I thought that maybe there is a bug in the new version where it has a problem with the last ID in the file, so I added another empty ID at the end.   This sounds like the same problem as described in the following thread:

  In short, there seems to be a problem with the way that RoboHelp 7 is coding for map (.h) and alias files (.ali). I think that at least two other users have reported this as a bug.

• Satellite A300 and Win7 - strange problem with card speakers\sound

  Hi all
  I work on one - A300-1MO with win 7 ultimate 32 bit

  In the last few days (since I installed the Bluetooth driver but I don't think that it's important), sound card and the speakers of the laptop, go to be dumb to be active, sometimes in large volume.

  It bothers me a lot because my computer is noises while I'm in classes (from apps running\web sites etc.). I've almost been hunted class several times because of this.

  Have you tried to reinstall / update the sound card driver?
  I think that this should be the first step you should try.

  The laptop uses a Realtek audio chip.
  Visit the Realtek page to get the latest Realtek audio driver.
  Remove the old audio driver installed and after reboot new try the audio downloaded Realtek driver.

• Strange problem with card sound and speakers on my Satellite A100

  Hi all

  I bought a Platinum ION (which converts documents in digital format) and oddly I can't find their tech support site (but this is another story, I guess).

  I connected it via USB on my laptop A100...

  Vista installed some drivers and now my speakers do not work - (peripheral output Audio n is installed - says VISTA).

  I tried a VISTA system restore (which failed) and a (just as ineffective) BIOS update. Now I think I want to re - install regardless of its card driver has the A100. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  It's really weird that a USB turntable brings speakers do not want to work more. I suggest you to visit the Web to Realtek site (since your audiochipset is a realtek HD) and reinstall the drivers.

  I downloaded the driver Plug-and-Play (project-style) for Agilent 8648 A generator of signals. I use LabVIEW 2011.

  I open the file project and resource VISA name menu, select COM1. Note that I use 82350B of the PCI-GPIB Interface Card.

  Given that you do not use a NI GPIB, go to MAX, select software and NI-VISA. In the right window, click the Options of VISA, and then select passports under general settings. Check on the passport of NI-VISA for Tulip.

  I have a recurring problem to correct my installation using a labview and Agilent GPIB card.

  Of course, the well-known configuration tips are generally defined:

  -Agilent VISA a VISA secondary (by-side mode)

  -the passport for tulip is enabled in NOR-MAX

  -OR-488 support active in Agilent librabry suite 16.1

  I uninstalled and reinstalled any component twice, but still get the same error message when I want to talk to a Keithley 2400 EMS:

  -Firstly, the agilent GPIB interface is correctly recognized expert Agilent connection and NOR-MAX

  -Then the instrument of 2400 keitjley initially works correctly in Agilent connection Expert and NOR-MAX

  BUT: when I try to send a command to the device (whether through the wizard or VISA using the Labview instrument driver), the tool returns an error (error "Application incomplete" punch followed immediately by a second "Invalid while in the local" error code)

  At the same time, the Manager (32 open report VISA) conflict in expert Agilent connection says "NI-VISA has returned an error. "There is a conflict of interface between NI-VISA and VISA Agilent".   Finally, I got my system running after several tests, although I couldn't use NI-VISA as first VISA (allowing the tulip passport) with agilent VISA (permit for programs OR-488) at the same time.

  I uninstalled it all components of NOR and the agilent and re - install in the correct order (OR first, followed by agilent): nothing has changed.

  I check for updates of agilent and NOR and use several different versions of VISA at the same time: nothing has changed and I still communication errors when you try to send the order through NI-VISA Interactive control or labview (although it worked well by expert agilent of connection).

  I don't really know why, but I solved my problem by installing Agilent VISA primary visa. In this way, even if I do not see the Council of Agilent in NOR-MAX, I can always send control of GPIB instruments by labview using their VISA address or aliases defined in connection expert Agilent...

  I am always interested to understand why I was not able to run the two VISAs on my system with agiulent only one card PCI GPIB... so if one of you sees a clear reason for this...

  I bought an A100 Satellite less than a year ago and have had problems with 2 different business cards when using Cubase.

  -M-Audio firewire solo plugged into the TI PCMCIA card
  -Echo Indigo io (PCMCIA card)

  I am running Windows XP and Cubase SE/SX3. When running Cubase, there are cracks, the sound stops for a few milliseconds.

  I've never had any problems with my old Toshiba laptop Satellite Pro A40. It's very disappointing and frustrating. I use my new Toshiba for the Internet!

  Well, recently I bought this ST Labs USB 2.0 card for my laptop. When I tried to install the drivers I just got a blue screen when the pilots was almost innstalled. It was on Win XP, I got the advice of a friend to change my OS for Win 2000, I did that, but then the pilot innstaller has said that there is something wrong with the device, press Finish to open help.
  I did what troubleshooting said, except that the device was not in the Device Manager to all (Win 2000)

  One of my friends uses USB 2.0 PCMCIA card with two USB ports and it has no problem. How have you installed new hardware? You first install driver and after that insert card PCMCIA or you did the opposite?

  Is there any kind of instruction how to do it? It's perhaps better first of all install the correct driver and then restart the computer to insert the PCMCIA card.

For now im using the pcmcia wifi network card, but I need to install the internal card.

  to be able to set up a NEW ethernet device, it must be connected to eth0 - otherwise the GPIB Explorer won't be able to find it. Which is clearly described in the referenced article, and there is no work around for this need.

  You can only configure devices on eth1 if they already have an assigned static IP address.

  Then please follow the steps below (summary of the article that you and I already linked):

  (1) connect the new ENET/100 to eth0

  (2) open the GPIB Explorer, select "New Devce" and click on the "Search" button to find the box.

  (3) select the found device and change its IP settings to keep the network connection on eth1 and leave the Explorer GPIB

  (4) now unplug the eth0 device and connect it to eth1

  (5) restart the GPIB Explorer, choose 'New' and enter the static IP address you gave the ENET box.

  I have the same problem with an iPhone 6. Try the general > reset > all settings, and then re-pair your phone to your car and see if it works now.
