problem with format PDF ePrint

I recently bought a printer from web HP6600 and problems printing PDF documents via ePrint.  Print Word and JPEG files with no problems.  Any suggestions?

I don't trust PDF export in the software. I use a pdf printer application (BullZip is the one I use) to print to PDF and then send the PDF as an email.

You use DB Oracle 11g or later? If so, you must enable Network Services to use the configured Print Services.

Reference: The last point mentioned here: PDF of print on demand Express 3.1 and above

You should not use "External Apache FOP", but you can "Oracle REST Data Services" as an option "print server". But, you should open the ords.war file and replace the Apache FOP associated jar files so that it supports non-English characters.

You crossed the aforementioned following threads in the thread:

Recently, I met the following threads:

ASK : if I agree that Apache FOP comes with ADR supports the Base-14 fonts and it's more issue ADR as Oracle APEX, but it will help you qualify for Oracle APEX + ADR as users of at least the next version ADR print server comes with Apache FOP 1.1 and the xmlgraphics - commons-1.5.jar. This will help the people setting up fonts and support for complex Scripts for example, Arabic, Hebrew, hindi and Southeast Asian scripts using Apache FOP comes with ADR as "print server".

  • Problem with a PDF file that is saved in CC2015

    Hello

I have this workflow with a client:

I create a few files in Illustrator

Save them in PDF format (because these are usually directly to a printer, but guard Illustrator editing capabilities just in case)

In case there are changes necessary, the client makes them to their end.

    Save again.

    Send to the printer.

It used to work very well while we both had installed CC2014 (v, 18), but since I upgraded to CC2015 (and the customer is always with CC2014) PDF files not open properly... the dialog prompt as if they would not editable Illustrator files.

I tried to save in a previous PDF version and did not work

When I try to save as a different version of Illustrator that it seems that it is the same for all CC (from v17), in fact, if I save as Illustrator customer can open it correctly.

There seems to be something that affect PDF files only.

So... what I have to do is to save the files to PDF using CC2015 and to ensure that they can edit them using CC2014, no idea of what could be the problem?

    Thank you!

With this type of workflow you absolutely need both work in the same version. Illustrator files are not backward compatible.

When recording in PDF with Illustrator editing capabilities in fact two files are saved under one: the PDF part and GOT it. The version of the part will always be the version that you are working in. So not backward compatible.

Please look at this on the functioning of the files:

  • Problem with connection for ePrint

    Hello

Today, I brought a new printer - all in one, HP Deskjet INK Advantage 3520. All functions are OK, but I have a problem with ePrint.
In practice, the printer is connected to my wifi at home and I can print without USB cable with no problems. But when I want the ePrint of installation function, I get an error that the printer do not have any internet connection and I can't complete the configuration of the service.

Do anyone know how I can eliminate the problem?

    Thank you
    Denis

    Hi DenyKr,

I see that you are having problems with your printer, connecting to web services.  I would like to try the following steps.

    1. open the internet browser type printer IP address.

2 should bring you to the status of the printer page.

    3. Select the tab network at the top.

    4. left side select IPv4 under wireless.

    5. under DNS address Configuration select manual DNS server.

    6. for favorite enter 8.8.8.8

    7. for alternate enter 8.8.4.4

    8. Select apply. You can get a warning saying that this could break the connection which is very good.

    9. turn the printer off for about 30 seconds, then try again.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Problem with printing pdf from Adobe Acrobat Pro

    Hello

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.4.3.

PDF-print has always worked a lot, but all of a sudden, there is some kind of problem.

After you print a "Print to PDF" built-in excel document in MacOS or Adobes printer I have PDFs corruptet when showing them in Adobe Reader/Acrobat, but MacOS software preview shows them correct.

So there can't be any problem with printing, but the local preview on my computer using Acrobat or Reader. I don't even use the Myriad in document police, I use Verdana.

    screen.jpg

You say you use Verdana, but you're not. The error message clearly indicates that you use MyriadPro "BOLD".

You probably recently installed Mac OS X 10.6.7 update that has a bug with OpenType PostScript as "BOLD" MyriadPro fonts. Use the Verdana or another font TrueType or PostScript, or come back to Mac OS X 10.6.6.

  • problem with opening pdf file of the web browser

I have Acrobat Pro ver 6 and Adobe Reader 9.1 on a computer.  When my user tries to open a pdf file from the web as it gets the following error message:

"Adobe Acrobat/Reader that not running to view the PDF files in a WEb browser.  ADBE Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required.  Quit and try again. »

What also happens is that Acrobat Pro 6 worm opens and nothing is there.

I don't know why he received this message from Reader 9.1 is installed.

One can shed some light on this for me.

This user must have Acrobat and Reader on its system.  I understand that there are problems with having both.

It has also set up so that any PDF opens using Reader 9.1.

    Thank you

Configuration of your PC drive by default for embedded PDFs has become confused, because of multiple solutions of Adobe PDF documents installed on a PC.

    Solution 1:

    Go to start > run

Type regedit, and then click OK.

Navigate to the following key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Software\Adobe\Acrobat\Exe

Make sure that the correct default data value is set to the path where are installed the Adobe Reader or Acrobat.

    The default installation values are:

    "C:\Program 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe Adobe.

    or

"C:\Program Files\adobe\acrobat 6.0\acrobat\Acrobat.exe" (not sure of this path.  Make sure that on your PC)

If Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat is installed.

    Solution 2:

Configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application.

If you use Firefox to browse the web, you can change this setting in Firefox by clicking on:

    Tools > Options

    Click on the "Applications" tab

The first item in the list should be "Adobe Acrobat Document".  In the Action list, click the drop-down arrow and select the application you want to read a PDF file in the web browser.  Click OK and you should be done.

If you use Internet Explorer to view a PDF file, try the steps below.

After you configure Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application, the browser starts the helper application in a separate window and displays PDF files within this window. Acrobat and Adobe Reader both include a preference that allows you to specify the Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application.

To configure Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application:
    Start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
    Choose Edition > Preferences.
    Select Internet on the left.
Deselect Display PDF in browser using [Acrobat application], and then click OK.
    Quit Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
The next time you select a link to a PDF file in the browser, a dialog box asking what you want to do with the file. If you select open, the browser opens the PDF file in Acrobat or Adobe Reader (request for assistance); If you select save it on the disk, the browser saves the PDF file on your hard drive.

  • Problem with cropped PDF

I use Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional for MAC (10.6.8).  After cropping and save a PDF file successfully, I sent the PDF cropped by the environment.  I noticed that part of the original PDF file (which has already been cropped on) is still perceived by the recipient.  Why is this happening?  How can I solve this problem?

It will be the receiver software without taking into account the area of harvest, but it might just as well to alert you to the problem sooner rather than later.

Remove sensitive information of the PDF format is a crucial task for many, and there are a lot of ways that do not. Crop pages, hide things, put white text: all of these mistakes have been made, sometimes with fearful consequences. The correct process is called 'writing' and Acrobat Pro has built in tools for this.

  • binary file is open... problem with formatting

    Hi all

It's probably too much time I don't use any more what Labview, but I have a problem opening the attached data file.

It is supposed to be a matrix of 1000 x 316, with the whole of values up to 16-bit (65 k levels).

In matlab I open it with fopen command and assigning the format as "uint16"...

now, I want to create a quick Viewer in labview, but I can't go beyond the classic binary string...

can you help me with this stupid problem?

    Kind regards

Is this what you need?  The result is an array of 1000 x 316 to U16s.

  • PROBLEMS WITH EDITABLE PDF

    Hello

I have a pc windows 10 and when I opened an editable pdf to fill the gaps that the computer is locked and I have to restart and it happens every time. I tried with adobe reader XI and adobe DC, but he had no solution. Could someone help me.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I was able to solve the problem, today I opened the PDF again and it is the same, so I wait more time and it works. I think the problem was that loading all the gaps because Yes, I was the administrator and I have read other pdf documents so the solution was to wait for more time.

    Thank you.

  • Problems with the PDF any bit depth

    4bitrgb.PNG

The left image is a view in Acrobat Pro to an original file. It also appears correctly in the Indesign document in preview high resolution. The right shows the result after an export to PDF of this document of identity.

The background color of the original image is a 4-bit RGB bitmap image; on the right, Acrobat Pro claims that it is now "24-bit". The original image can be changed by editing with Photoshop (he claims that it is an "unsupported color space"); refrying the original by printing a second time for PDF does not work, because the image remains unchanged. Change the color on the inside space the original PDF leads to the same result (changes the color space, but the bit depth remains the same). Open the entire PDF file in Photoshop gives the same result, as shown on the right (because apparently the PS can not handle this 4 - bit color space).

The only way of setting the color space that has worked so far is to open all PDF in Illustrator and re-save AS. However, Illustrator converts * some * vectorised text (without specifying why, because it is all Arial).

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem while maintaining the original vector data?

    ****

(OT, but worth noting anyway: I had to connect (waiting), go to the forum ID (wait once again), find a ' Post' button which worked (new waiting) and try to write this mail in 3 different browsers.) IE does not work - you cannot insert an image and expect to be able to type text. Firefox took so long to load even the text editor that I dropped. Chrome works - slowly. Certainly room for improvement here.)

    edited by retouching with Photoshop (he claims it is an "unsupported color space");

It is true that Photoshop is the Mode of Bitmap 1 bit and modes of 8-bit in levels of grayscale, Duotone and color Index with nothing in between.

I guess you tried to export with compression and a sampling turned off?

    Hey Kevin,

Acrobat 6 is not compatible with Windows 8. Please get the latest version of Acrobat 11.

I recommend buying a monthly subscription for Acrobat which is available at a very low price.

  • Problem with export PDF in CC

When you export to PDF in Photoshop CC in CMYK mode, Acrobat opens a blank page with the message that it is out of memory. Export the same RGB file opens fine. Any ideas? Export as long as CMYK worked fine in all versions of Photoshop and always made in CS6.

I had this same problem. Only happens when recording under the high compressor. Works fine in a middle or max setting
