  Step 2: Utility Windows Install Cleanup

  Find the entry for the program, RTUadmin you try to install it and remove it.  You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer.   Just for future reference, if there is an error message you should probably indicate the error you first post, allowing you to get a faster resolution to your problem.

  The message "Lightroom has encountered an error when reading the previous cache and need to quit." means that you need to remove your preview cache. It is a folder in the same folder that your Lightroom catalog whose name ends with Previews.LRDATA. Remove the entire file. Do not remove the. LRCAT file.

  I'm running XP x 64 on a client computer and since the 6.18 update blocking it on the desktop to launch. This was never a problem before that I have no day. Now that the update is forced, it doesn't let me no option at all.

  Why do this? It worked well, the app (6.3) can connect fine but is disconnected "version is low."

  Normally I import pictures from my card reader, copy it to a local hard disk.  I do not immediately delete pictures from the card.  I leave them for a while for several reasons, including temporary backup and eventually remove the card when I need to reclaim the space.

  In the meantime, holder processing photos in LR, I tend to remove the total breakage as they are a waste of space (I mean on the photos of the total disaster, for example when I accidentally hit the shutter button with the lens pointed at my foot).

  Next time, when I import the map, LR did a brilliant job to do not reimport the photos that are already in my catalog.  But he do not reimport the bad pictures, I deleted my catalog.  Fortunately, I have arrange by date in the import dialog box, all of these pictures are grouped together at the beginning and I can usually remember (or judge visually) where begins the series of new pictures.  But it is quite troublesome and prone to use checkmarks to deselect photos bad and avoid re-import them.  I'm hoping to find a way to ensure that I will never see these photos, even if they are still on the map and I deleted it from my library.

  Tips for a better workflow?  Native importer utility from my camera has a nice feature that it keeps track of what photos have been copied from the camera, that you always have this copy on your hard drive.  LR has something similar, or is there a better way for me to reach my goal?

  What are the other reasons? If only for backup, you should... or could do "import backups" instead.

  Don't need even a dedicated for this player, you can use a folder on one of your internal hard drives. Once you sorted out photos, archive photos, make your permanent backup... backup of import can be trashed.

  The basic workflow is:

  1. Import a copy of 'secondary '.
  2. Visually confirm that the files are copied well.
  3. Format the card.
  4. Sort your photos.
  5. Photos of archive.
  6. Delete the backup of importation.

  I have the same card and I get the same message, however without crashing.

  you have installed all the updates/fixes you can to ACE this may solve the problem.

  What about drivers who are the cause of the accident, one of my friends had a lot of problems with regularize them and crashing and it was running the game on a custom platform so maybe it's not that the real fault.

  As you probably know, driver VGA for this laptop is a bit outdated. I have a problem with Rage. It crashes after a few minutes of play. I guess that it also works with the only Integrated GPU because there are differences in performance between the modes 'High Performance' and 'Save energy' in the ATI drivers.

  So I decided to install the new version of Catalyst 12.6 beta which has full support for mobile and swichable graphics. Alfer, Rage finallny works like a charm - no falls down and inprovement of great performance, but the BONE started to freeze and crash. Also other games began to work more bad. On official catalyst 12.4 site AMD form is identical on 12.6 beta.

  And the strangest thing is that my friend has the Asus laptop with the same features of the CPU and GPU, and he has not had problems using the latest drivers form AMD site.

  If you have any sugestions how to solve that or what is going on, please help me

  OK, I solved the problem. Just had to uninstall Amd accelerated video transcoding device and now all works well on catalyst 12.4 in the site of AMD.
