  First, Download the following driver for Nvidia MCP67M (Please confirm if this is correct) listed for Vista from here:

  FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp37501-38000/sp37860.exe

  To check that the video card is on your system, go Start type of search to tab dxdiag and press on Enter. A window will appear. Confirm with YES if any message and click on the display tab located at the top left near tab System . You should see the name of your video card and the manufacturer.

  Second, go to Panel > programs and features and see in the list if the Nvidia driver is listed. Uninstall the Nvidia driver and restart the PC. If not, then go to Panel > system > Device Manager (left toward the top corner) > double click on adapters.

  You should see the video card. Click with the right click on the Nvidia video card and select Uninstall. Click OK to uninstall.

  If a message appears and asks if you want to remove the driver files, Select the check box , and then click OK. Restart the computer.

  Third, run the driver downloaded earlier and follow the instructions. Is required to restart the system if the installation program does not work.

• Trying to solve a problem with the list under display properties screensaver!

  When I try to put my screensaver, gout dwon displays a completely blank entry followed by (None) & the list of available screensavers.  Every time I choose (none), it is up to the last installed screen saver.

  An example: the last installed screen saver was ArcSoft Photobook screensaver.
  So, when I select (none) for no screensaver, it is up to the ArcSoft Photobook screensaver.

  This happens each & everytime I have add a new screen saver.
  (None) option always returns to the last screen saver installed.

  There are moments that I need the option screensaver set to (none).

  Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

  Not sure as to what I did, however, my problem with the screen saver has been fixed.

  I've been messing around with a number of things that I thought might have caused this problem.  And wala, suddenly the problem existed no more!

  A few days windows was updating procedure. After restart external monitor connected to dsub connector changed display Resolution 1600 x 1200 (from a native 1920 x 1080). In my frustration, I tried system restore as windows update creates restore points. There were losses of document in the process, but I was NOT able to restore the laptop to the previous state.
  Using the nvidia Control Panel, I get internal resolution of 1920 x 1080 to external monitor ONLY when toshiba lcd is turned off.

  Now, I have 10 seconds delay between http requests. And that is unacceptable. What are my options here? Update includes changes to the firmware? In the cases where I decide to reinstall Windows 7 all over again with recovery disk, which will fix something.
