  I have problem with Intel PROSET. When I opened this program can't do anything just because my Wireless 2200 BG is not be listed in "network components. Moreover in Atheros I'm not able to do anything as well. It can suggest the problem with the driver, but I managed to connect to my friends wireless net. What can be wrong?

  I have my own installation of Win XP SP2 with all drivers and programs of Toshiba tools & utilities. (I had the same problem with recovery of victory)

  I guess you have INTEL Wireless Card. After installation of SP2 to check if there is some conflicts in your device manager. You can update driver for the wireless card. It is always good. :)

  As BOB said go to https://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com (then adapter & download of drivers and downloads).

  It is driver for your Intel (V. 8.0.12.9000W2BG) wireless card. Install it and check is there no conflicts in Device Manager.
  If this is not the case, turn your wireless card and FN + F8 to enable the wireless connection.

  If you re router wireless works correctly and if your WLAN has a name you see now. I know it's sometimes very complicated to establish the connection, but you must try all the options.

  Please first check that when you the physical switch turn on wireless communication, you should also somewhere (probably near the switch) see an orange light.
  If this isn't the case, then there is something wrong.
  Did also attach you the antenna cables to the Wifi card?
  You use the Windows XP client or customer of Intel for wifi?

• Problem with access to WV and HAVE

  So I see a few problems with the two Appstacks and writeable volumes in 2.5.0 which I think relate just a matter of what needs to be changed.

  • Writable volumes
    • I have 2 accounts for my account that I attributed an accessible volume writable on a specific system.  When I log in the system in question that subscribe to the Windows profile Service is unable to load.  If I am in the same system with my secondary account on the same system I have no problem.  If I kill the accessible volume writable in the Manager of that then I can login with my account first without problem.
    • I checked that I have no profile on the system, because it is a fresh charge and I use a local administrator account to join to the domain.
  • App stacks
    • If I attached a test battery to a provisioning system and try to install the software I could not create the directory "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Cryptophane" error 5: access is denied.  As soon as I cancel the commissioning Manager of installation of the software is complete without problem.

  The service account, I'm under Manager of appVolumes as the role of the admin

  If I connect to vcenter I can watch the virtual machine and see that the volumes are attached to the virtual machines in question.

  I tried several versions to see if there is something defined in Windows which is causing the problem.

  If a solution has been found.  It turns out a GPO has been the cause of the problem.  Once I added my test machines to an exclusion it resolved the problem.

  The policy in question contains the following settings that were the culprit

  Access to the removable storage / system

  • All removable storage Classes: deny all access-enabled
  • WPD Devices: Deny access read-enabled
  • WPD Devices: Deny access to write-enabled

  Is about to test an App stack, but this seems to be the culprit.

  I received my dv7t Quad Ed with Intel Centrino wireless/Bluetooth card two Monday running on Windows 7 64.  I can't get my pc to maintain an internet connection more then a few minutes.  I'm solid on connecting wireless to the router (Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router WNDR3700) but I'm constantly getting "no internet access.

  I have updated the firmware of the router.  I made several updates of Windows.  Nothing has helped and then fifteen minutes.

  Roaming aggressiveness... Lowest value.

  If this does not help, go to the configuration menu of your router and change the string being aired on channel 1 or 11 and see if that helps.

  Try to undo and redo Firefox as default browser.

  I have the Toshiba Equium L10 and it is about 14 months old and I have problems with the battery and how much time it takes after a full charge. I also have problems with the RTC battery and an ERROR 0271: check date and time settings message when I turn on the laptop.

  Regarding the battery, I can fully charge it upward in about 3 hours, but when I start to use it, apparently in the last few hours around one and a half or so and then it needs to be recharged. I can have down for about 40 minutes and then turn it off and come back later or in a day or two. How long should I expect from a fully charged battery?

  About the batttery RTC, it really becomes a pain and I only started to get the message of the ERROR 0271 start-up, in recent weeks. I can charge the battery pack and then leave for a few days, but when I turn it on, I get the message ERROR 0271 on the date and time incorrect. Surely after a full charge, the RTC battery should last longer than a few days?

  The normal recommendation for the CMOS (RTC) battery is to leave the laptop connected to the power supply at least 12 hours when the main battery is fully charged. The charging circuit is going to hijack the current to the load automatically RTC battery and no current will be forwarded to your main battery.

  Recommendation do not leave the power adapter is plugged in the main battery is fully charged is really only applicable to older laptops that used no batteries Li - ion and therefore they had to be completely discharged before recharging to avoid any effect 'memory' of the battery.

  With modern Li-ion batteries, it is quite safe to leave the battery when fully charged and still power the laptop from the AC adapter. The charging circuit will pass all the battery charge if it is fully charged.

  Looks like your folder icons are not accommodating themselves automatically you plan to do. To me, this indicates that you have organize by the None value in the view menu. You can change the way files and folders are prepared automatically by clicking on view > reorganize by and selecting how you would like that fixed.
