  I don't know about other issues. There are always 'problems' with any upgrade. You weigh against the benefits. I know that you need more RAM. At least 4 GB, maybe more if you can. Don't forget that this system is produced at a time when most of the machines have + 8 GB RAM and when Apple said 'minimum' they really mean it.  I recently inherited a MacBook that has 2 GB of RAM and the Mavericks. When I checked the memory, the use of the system was using 1.95 GB = nothing to run applications!

With the Firefox for Android beta by clicking on said ads downloadable file and automatically calls up the default PDF Reader which opens the page.   the change has been made in firefox 25 - that's why you now see this behavior only in the beta version of firefox. the general release for firefox 25 is scheduled for next week.

  If each application is in talks with a separate device there should be no problem as far as I know. If two applications try to talk to the same device then you need to be aware that you can only perform one task at a time on a device.
