Problem with the installation of Photoshop and Lightroom updates

Hello.

I have a MacBook Pro with new hard drive and the only software that is Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3.

I downloaded Creative Cloud App, login with my ID Adobe, checked the web site of CC my status as my plan is active and start the download and installation of Photoshop and Lightroom. Both programs have been installed in front of each app appeared an update button. But when I pressed the button to update, I got an error message: "cannot happen on the Adobe servers / please check your firewall settings and try again in a few minutes."

Then I turned off wi - wi and connect to the Internet (wired connection) cable. But I still can't install any update. But I can install any other software. When it comes to the update - the same "unable to connect to the Adobe servers.

    "Setup failed to initialize. File not found. ' or 'could not initialize installation. This could be due to missing files.

    first of all, rename folder OOBE OOBE.old.

    to find the OOBE:

    Win 64 bit OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

    Win 32 bit OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

    Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps

    Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB

    If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.

    If you use an installation dvd:

    Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.

    If you are using a mac:

    1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.

    2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the

    3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

    4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

    5 restart the installation.

    In conclusion, the mistakes that I have in Windows Update and Windows Installer cordoned off each other, as the mistakes of each program are based on the other program to be repaired. I'm at my wit's end here. My computer works fine without one, except that I can't install new programs. I can access the internet fine, access files fine, all my scans have developed own... I don't really know what is happening. Can someone help me with this?

    You allowed enough time for the purchase be saved with Adobe?  Are you sure that you bought through the account that you control?

  • Problems with the installation of Photoshop & first 13 items... with the help of former inactivated 'license' I thought I was buying

    I bought this software as a package in fall 2014, hoping to be able to run on my XP machine. I was told that I could do this by the seller, that I bought it from Dell.

    They sent the software on their Web based downloaded, called "MyDellLocker", however, I couldn't get the software to install and gave up after I got no help whatsoever from Dell, to solve the problem.

    In this case, I couldn't do it, they said, because I was using Windows browser Explorer 8, which did not support downloading, either, and I could upgrade the browser, to another version, which would have supported the download.

    No other browser would not work. Authorized refunds. I bought it, but even if I couldn't use it, I'm screwed.  Then I continued with older versions, I bought years ago.

    Anyway, I finally made a clean install of Windows 7 this week, and their download software works always, even with own DELL technical support!

    Rembert I had not activated for a year and a half. I bought the first 13 items, including Photoshop and Acrobat.

    So after my installation of mew, which they helped me with, Dell team decided to cling to the trial version and I would turn on that, which I had been told that I couldn't do before. It would have been absurd, and not sure how hard to try, but I was so mad is not to use their software locker, and do not get help in recovering the software only I probably gave up trying other options.

    Here is my current problem.  I am apparently currently not allowed to use the Software Photoshop 13, unless I am connected to Adobe?

    I don't understand, but I suspect that this creative cloud trying to regain what I thought, it was a purchase of products approved in the fall of 2014.

    I was wrong?  My activation keys were worthless?

    Maybe I did something wrong with my installation. Is there another way, I should have done, maybe?

    I like the software, have used it for years, but this makes me very unhappy. I feel that I've been duped, pretty bad.

    I don't even know if I have a license for this software, or if I bought something else.  I have an account, so it can be displayed.

    I saw your Adobe ID (email address) you used to post here and found that you have serial for Photoshop & first elements 13 numbers are recorded.

    Products of elements are not related to the creative cloud, I recommend you to uninstall the Photoshop and Premiere Elements of your machine and do a fresh install from here: Download Photoshop Elements | 14, 13, 12, 11, 10

    Once downloaded consult How to download, install and activate Adobe applications for more information on the installation and activation process.

    Hello, as the employee of the wonderful adobe, instead of helping me solve my problem told me to search for the answer adobe help topics (I can NEVER find the answer, I need on any page of sites help topic, that's why I always prefer to just directly contact them) or try the forums (essentially giving access to his work to you guys) I'm here.

    I'm trying to donload my copy of photoshop elements 3 on my laptop. I downloaded it and works on my desktop and it's on my laptop before I needed to get a new hard drive. The problem is, whenever I try to open the program after installation, I get this message:

    "Could not complete your request because of missing or no personalization information valid"

    then the program closes.

    I have alread deleted and reinstalled the program several times, but no luck.

    Any ideas on what the issue is, and how I can fix this problem?

    PS I just downloaded on my sister's laptop, that's why I'm trying to work on mine even once, I thought that it would be finally...

    The only reference I found to this error are intended for Windows users, but it seems to point to an authorization number.  I recommend creating a new administrator account and repeat installation under this account.  It seems as if the installation program cannot write the serial number during installation information.  A new administrator account resets permissions so should not encounter the same problem as your current user account.

    I have a new operating system in 9 years (XP user) and finally bought a new computer with Vista and I'm totally lost. User and Administrator profiles seemed like a good idea, but they are inconvenient for me and significantly. I was lucky good installation of some programs of the administrator account, such as the office, and they work very well with other standard users. HOWEVER, many programs do not work, and although they appear on the desktop for each user, when I try to open them, they want to go through the installation. Makes no sense.

    I wish I'd stayed with XP at this point.

    My update is that I gave up. I don't have the time and energy to devote to their dleaing with Windows 7. If I could have just installed Outlook and it was operated as Outlook Express identities requiring passwords to open an Inbox, everything would be great. But having a single account opens an Outlook Inbox before requesting a password so that any user can come and see the Inbox of Outlook fins without password user. The password is only seems to allow the Inbox send and receive new mail since the last connection. Frankly, Windows has become extremely bossy and was intended to do what Microsoft thinks is best, not that users don't. I hate it. I hate the new version of Office as well. I hate users. Basically, it's the worst purchase I have made. If I could have picked up this machine and bought a new iMac I would have but I got more than 14 days before the full extent of its clunkiness.

    I have a new machine, I want to throw because the operating system responds to my needs are simple... which are a program of easy mail to several users, some different software work-related (I deleted the office suite, I bought and reinstall my copy of Microsoft Office 2000 that is how the current exercise sucks) and for music management and use. In fact, the uses of music and electronic mail are the major uses of family and there where Windows sucks the most. The 'user' approach is required by Windows but iTunes does not work like that, nor it works easy to operate with multiple users.

    So that's the update. Bottomline, I have this thing on Craigslist to sell and, hopefully, by a Mac. I should never have left Mac 8 years and I never should have bought a Windows machine last month.

    Mariana,

    Please confirm if you try to configure the siebel server in the same machine as the gateway server. If so try to use localhost instead of the hostname of the machine setting up Siebel server.

    I assume you are using windows 2003 as the operating system.
