problem with the nvidia GTX670 in CC PS video card

Use PE10, I just installed Photoshop CC c. 13.1.2 x 64.  Although my video (nvidia GTX 670, 2 GB of RAM) card is recognized by Photoshop, when I check 'use the graphics processor' under 'preferences/performance' the converted RAW image is somewhat blurry at all zoom levels (except 100%) compared to when it is unchecked and sharp (for the two Canon 1100D and 6 D). May the problem lies in the RAW conversion, because if I convert the file with 'use graphics processor' unchecked and then later check this last after it was opened, the image is blurred and I have access to all the functions of the video card supported. Someone else has encountered this problem and found a solution?  Thank you, artmar4 (intel i5-3670, 24 GB of RAM, Windows 7, 64-bit).

Hello, armar4. GPU preferences require a reboot, it I'm not mistaken.

Did you check the factor of two magnifications, 25, 50%, or 400%.

CPU mode, only those use a more accurate algorithm.

    Hello Lewie,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. What is brand and model your computer?
    2. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?

I understand that you lose your screen when you play a game. This happens usually if the installed graphics driver has corrupted or unstable. Therefore, I suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

Method 1: Run the tool material and devices

Try running the next fixit and check whether the problem is resolved.

Hardware devices do not work or are not detected in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/hardware_device_problems/en-us

Method 2: Update your graphics card

1 open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Security, and then, under System, click the Managerof peripheral . If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. in the list of hardware categories, find the display adapters and select the device driver you want to update, and then double-click the device name.

    3. Click tab driver , click Update driver, and then follow the instructions. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

For more information, visit the below mentioned link:

If you are not able to update the device driver via windows update, you can visit your computer or graphics card manufacturer (NVIDIA) Web site and download & install the latest driver. Or contact the manufacturer of your system to do.

  • Problems with the creation of a 1080 p video - rough

    Hey guys,.

I'm new to this forum and video editing so please be patient and bare with me as I try to explain what the question. First I want to thank you for taking the time to read my question.

I have a recorder gopro HD that I used on my trip and recorded a bunch of movies. They were recorded in 1080 p/30 fps.

I am able to read these on my MAC in any player (I use VLC) and excellent don't work - no lag what so ever.

I open Adobe first Pro CS 5.5 and create a new project as follows with the sequence settings (I tried several ones) following

    AVCHD 1080 P 25 anamorphic or 1080 p 30 AVCHD or AVCHD 1080 P 25

Once this is completed I add my video with an MP3 as audio and an image recorded in JPEG format to the first 20 seconds (the video is long about 3 minutes). So far, everything is good. Also, between photo and video, I add a video transition.

When I export the video as 1080p25 or 1080 p 30 H.264 H.264 (PAL), I noticed that after that the film passes the JPEG to the actual video, it becomes very agitated on all media players, including VLC, Quicktime and lag.

This is were the problem is frustrating - if I delete the JPEG and video transition effects and I have just the video with the audio track, and export with the same parameters of the video above is absolutely perfect. No drags what so ever.

So, it seems that the JPEG format raises me questions. Anyone experienced this and could point me in the right direction?

To be absolutely clear, the image is about 500 KB, and the size is JPEG 1280 * 960.

    The system I use is

    MacBook Pro

    2.3 Ghz I7 Quad

    8 GB ram

    1 GB dedicated video card

I don't think that its my computer that I tested the two videos (with and without jpeg) on other machines and get the same results. With JPEG format video is choppy while the others are playing very well.

I would very much help because I am creating a video to send to all of our materials for a rally, in which we participated.

Thanks a lot again for taking the time to read my question.

    Kind regards

    Milan

OK, so now we know that what we were dealing with trully was a user error, and I'm sure that part of it is you being new to the organization. The other part of it is annoyingly that one has to deal with, whenever complex production pipelines are involved. When you use a professional application suh as a body you're accepted flexibility. Unfortunately with this flexibility, the possibility of rockets error skyhigh. This complexity is not helped by the fact that the output is entrusted by the codecs from many different suppliers, who have all of the different user interfaces and different ways they talk to the host about QuickTime is terrible in this aspect as well. Therefore be very methodical.

Now that we know that there is really no bug with body on your question, you can go ahead and chose one of the output codecs that are available and appropriate. Agency gives you even presets. For example, you can choose a Youtube defined by default as an option for the export of the H264. But be careful settings because it is very often so that even if you have the correct settings in your Media window export the framerate and the dimensions of the image may be different within a codec settings that are available for some of them via the button settings in the codec, like in the image below. You can see that even if the parameters are all corresponding inside the export media dialog box they are not the same in the local parameter of codec

In any case to look at the summary field and to see that these settings match. Including two of them having the same field order (IE no as it is progressive images in my example. As below:

Anyway, as I said there are a lot of things to go wrong. I think that a lot of reading operating instructions is in your future, at the same time, it will be better, perhaps, if you use iMovie which is good enough for simple editing - the kind you seem to do without steep of a learning curve. I use it myself for a few quick changes on the go.

It will be useful. Good luck.

Im trying to install drivers for a Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 on my windows vista 64 bit computer. SO... after I click 'OK', it begins to download only to have another pop-up saying "Setup has detected that the system in use is not windows vista 64 bit" which it is. Basically its contradiction with himself. im confused.

    Im running windows vista 64-bit.

    I just upgraded to a Nvidia 9800GT, to a Nvidia GTX 260.

In frustration, I deleted all the old drivers, but the new will not download.

The first error says that the drivers are not 64-bit.

The second error indicates the operating system is not 64-bit.

  • Problems with the Precision M4400 and the graphic card Nvidia quadro 770M

I have a problem with my Precision M4400 and Nvidia Quadro 770 M. After I installed Windows 7 64 bit, I have problems with the graphics card. I get a blue screen or graphic errors. I tried several versions of the driver. In the Nvidia forum had this problem even more. Here, they told me that only a BIOS update for the graphics card to solve the problem. Update the BIOS, but I should refer by DELL. So my question is this problem with Dell is also known, and there is already an update of the BIOS to the Quadro 770 M?

    Hi all

I have the solution by chance. I was looking for the latest drivers GeForce for Windows 7 x 64 and I read the accompanying note: http://fr.download.nvidia.com/Windows/337.88/337.88-win8-win7-notebook-release-notes.pdf
On page 17, you can read the following note to fix: "[GeForce FX 770 M] [portable]: blocking of the blue screen occurs after Windows starts."

Of course, GeForce FX 770 M does not exist (and never was), and it should be Quadro FX 770 M. I can bet that nVidia has corrected this famous BSOD problem in the wrong driver because always there is nothing about any "Quadro FX 770 M - fix" in the note accompanying the latest Quadro (340.52) driver.

You try the GeForce driver above, but to install it, you may need to download an INF file modified with the addition of the ID of Quadro FX 770 M (= "NVIDIA_DEV.065C ="NVIDIA Quadro FX 770 M"). Try without the first modified INF file because the Quadro FX 770 M is listed as a compatible chip in the version of the driver GeForce 337.88 note...

I'll try that, even though I am completely sastified with the latest driver for Quadro (feasible) (285.62) without disable Powermizer. I did not try the latest Quadro drivers again (to be honest).

    Late me know please.

  • Satellite A500 - problems with the temperature of the GPU

The thing is playing Age of Empires online I started having problems with the temperature of the GPU. When you run the AIDA64 the CPU stress test can hold up well, but after 35 minutes the test what AIDA suspended while the GPU fan can't seem to download their revolutions, (I guess that if there was that a rise in temperature would increase the speed of rotation of the fan, don't).

I consulted the manufacturer of the GPU, nVidia, (the graphic is nVidia GeForce GT 230 M) and tell me to contact Toshiba for other options, since, according to them, the problem is not the GPU.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

You use your laptop to factory settings?
Have you installed something that may be responsible for this (non-Toshiba display driver)?

  • SEVERAL problems with the new X 34

So, I have been active during the overclock.net forums concerning the many problems I am having with my X 34.

Long story short, I'm back this thing to Newegg and waiting for another delivery. But I thought I'd come at least here because it has high liklihood to return to anyone who cares to Acer. I called their tech support to let them know about the issues, but when the old Indian robot for 2 years at the other end kept referring to as resolution of refresh rate, I decided that I couldn't take more.

So I took delivery of the monitor yesterday and he initially worked well... but the longer he stayed, the more problems, he has developed.

My system is one I built a year or two ago and works perfectly with my Dell 3008WFP. Video card is a brand new MSI 980 Ti Lightning. Operating system is Windows 10 x 64. Is a Corsair 750W POWER supply. 16 GB of DDR3 RAM.

I even made a COMPLETELY new install of Windows 10 on this computer to try to resolve these problems. Did not work. I have disconnected/reconnected everything inside my computer, including RAM and GPU. Did not work.

And Yes, G-sync is enabled in the NVCP. And Yes, I manually set the refresh rate in the NVCP in correlation with the manual settings on the monitor.

Problem no. 1: Menu recording does not settings

-Don't know what the problem is here. But for about 3 hours last night, my monitor would not save settings for serger refresh rate. I would go on the menu... allow the serger... Set it to 100 Hz... Select "Apply and restart. Then (here's the interesting thing I think in hindsight), the screen would flash many colors several times and restart. I assumed that flashing color was normal... but it was never the Predator Logo when it has been reset. The office is finally pointing upwards and I could choose 100 Hz in my NVCP... but when you returned from the settings menu, Overclock was Off back with the default refresh rate. I have nothing would fix it with the reset of the monitor and unplug. Later... I have unplugeed the monitor for 30 minutes and when I plugged it back in, it would save my overclock settings now. It is interesting, but now, when I selected "Apply and reset", he would show the Predator logo when restarting... this logo did not appear before.

    Problem #2: Flashing screen

-See a video of this question HERE

-This developed before my eyes. After the initial installation of the monitor, it worked fine. Without no flicker, no problems. But as I was sitting at the dinner table last night, I started to see the monitor flashing intermittently in the other room. I look at the screen, he flickered about 4 or 5 times per minute. For the next hour, he progressed to 30 - 40 times per minute. And subsequently developed in constant blinking. BUT this flicker only happens when I go to the Office at 100 Hz. It happens sometimes in games, but not constant.

I first thought that I had a bad cable of DP since I used one from Amazon, if I swapped it for the Acer cable included. Nope... same problem. I even inserted my previous EVGA 780 TI... but the flicker that happens too.

Then, I thought it was a driver problem, I did a clean install of the nVdiia previous drivers. Nope. Then a cleaning installed latest drivers from nVidia WHQL. Nope.

Then I saw here that you can download the drivers for the monitor directly from Acer. So, I did a guy like an unsigned driver installation. Nope.

After all this, the problem persists.

Strange thing about this one is that there was when I first got the monitor but got progressively worse since I got it.

Another weird thing is that if I have a window open, then it isn't twinkle... reduce the window, and he comes back. It's actually what made me think, it was a driver issue, but as you can see above, I think that I have ruled that that fully.

Also, if I set my refresh rate to 95Hz or below, the problem occurs. (This is actually how I currently work).

-UPDATE: the issue has actually started just after executing i1Profiler to calibrate the screen several times back to back. I can't imagine how, but could the rapid exchange of multiple colors full screen damaged electronics somehow? Or is it just a weird coincidence?

-UPDATED #2: it was suggested that ADC can cause the problem as it caused problems with the previous Acer monitors. So I completely deleted i1Profiler and reset my default .icc profile. I also think that I figured out how to do a monitor factory reset - if you hold the buttons first and fifth, restarting the screen and all the default settings. in any case, does too and the blinking persists...

    #3 problem: Backlight horrible bleeding

I have to type anything here? Leave some pictures to speak for themselves...

Trouble #4: Parts of the screen does not not on

It has been described elsewhere, so I won't detail it here. But yes, I have the same problem. Here is a representative of my monitor picture when the issue arose.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed, although I can't say I'm surprised. I mean, we deal with Acer here guys... Not exactly known for the high-end products. You can put the red lipstick on a pig...

So is there more any idea or suggestion out there?

Until then... I'll wait for my new X 34 excerpt here from Newegg to see if I won the lottery of Acer he...

  • Blue screen on startup... problem with the display driver?

I have been using a Dell Inspiron 14R (N4110) laptop computer since 2010 without any problem.

The laptop was purchased online from Dell and came with

    (1) Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and

    2) AMD Radeon HD 6470 M - 1 GB display card.

Recently, I had a problem where my laptop just wouldn't start, showing the blue screen every time it tries to start. The blue screen mentions a problem with the file atikmpag.sys I understand is the driver for the AMD video card.

If I delete/rename the files atikmpag.sys and atikmdag.sys (via secure boot mode) in C:/windows/system32/drivers, the laptop (not) start, but obviously does not recognize the graphics card.

After a lot of unsuccessful trials debugging on mine (including trying to upgrade the drivers to display etc.)., I reinstalled the operating system and the drivers provided with the original kit (just to eliminate any possibility of an upgrade that went wrong). However, I still see the issue.

That means there is a hardware problem? or a BIOS problem?

    Thank you

    R.B.

Guys, the problem you describe is actually a hardware failure. There is nothing you can do except replace a motherboard for laptop, or taken some advanced technicians, COMPUTING which will replace or chip GPU reball.

I have the same a laptop similar (Inspiron N5110), with the same problems and these problems - all started yesterday. Do not waste your time, just reinstall OS, then install display drivers, which are available on the official site of Support of DELL and after that - if it's not working, just do what I said.

Generally these are consequences of an overheating laptop, but that it was certainly not my case (I did regular checks), I could even bet on chips quality GPU, which has been used in the manufacture of this model of laptop... again...

UPDATE: Okay, last night was a long night for me and I can confirm finally - who's * chip AMD, which causes the blue screen, you mentioned. I disassembled my N5110 faulty, armed with a heatgun, Probe temperature (probe) and tons of aluminium + some flow of brazing, I made a fairly quick reflow and the result is just what I expected - everything works perfectly again, with the same configuration - even with the same installation of Windows, which has been to launch these blue screens. There are now no blue screen at all and portable computer performance as new.

Apparently bad welding, when this laptop was manufactured, is the exact reason why we are where we are. The BGA chip was not dead at all (it was just poorly soldered). The same story, including HP and a bunch of other companies had some time ago with these NVIDIA chips (I know, some of you know what I'm talking about).

CONCLUSION: Integrated DELL diagnostic software is useless against the detection of defects with a discreet graphics AMD card. Problem was not in the software or drivers - it was just a poorly welded chip (I regularly cleaned my laptop dust, so overheating is not an option here).

  • "A problem with the display driver.

Recently, I get an error message whenever I open Photoshop CS4. It reads as follows.

"As Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver and has temporarily disabled GPU enhancements. Visit the Web site of the manufacturer of the video card for the latest version of the software.

"GPU improvements can be enabled in the Performance preferences panel."

I checked the graphics cards in Device Manager, and when I tried to update the software, it told me that I was aware.

    Hello

Try to update your display manually driver and do not use the analysis of the drivers on the manufacturer's website either.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.

  • Problem with the Action Center

I have a problem with my NVIDIA Graphics Driver and Action Center said he found the solution, but it cannot be downloaded because it could not connect to the internet. The message is this:

"Your computer was unable to download the solution at this time. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet and then try to download the solution later. »
Of course, I'm connected to the Internet, so I don't know what to do. In any case, the problem is that whenever I play Starcraft 2 or Skyrim, the program crashes and I don't know why. I have already installed the graphics driver, but it keeps crashing.
    Thanks for your help :)
