Problem with the scroll bar doesn't work is not on the computer.

I've recently updated to Windows 8, and now the scroll bar on the right side of my touchpad is not scrolling.  I have an Acer computer.  Can someone help me solve this problem?

You may be able to get this feature back by getting Windows 8 drivers for your touchpad.

Go to the Acer website and search your computer model and see if there are drivers of Windows 8.

See if there is a touchpad drivers listed for your computer.

Click to download, select run and follow the instructions that the Installer gives.

I hope you find the driver you need.

You can see other drivers for your computer too while you're there. The drivers from the manufacturer works usually better than Windows comes with that.

    Thank you for your ideas is what I found when I reinstalled the flash even if it is the excat same version it worked. It seems that our system update for flash 9 did not work properly so I'll have to push a new update on all computers on the network (it's funny, it works ok on some and not others in my company, firefox is not an option

  • Problem with auto feed mechanism doesn't work only not with the Lexmark X 2500 series Printer running Vista

    In my view, the auto feed mechanism does not work.  No matter how I load the paper it says either it is not loaded correctly (which is) or it is a paper jam (which is not the case).  Recommendations as to what it will take to get my auto paper feed printer so I can print?  She will not even feed myself manually one sheet at a time, not to mention two or more sheets.  Thank you.

  • Could get a new router block printing? We had a lot of problems with the computer in the last week and a half. Bought new router and now the printer does not print. :-(

    (1) we went to DirecTV. Then the same day, our internet computer is down. I asked our current provider, Suddenlink, to let them know we had them to another - but we wanted to keep for the internet.

    (2) called DirecTV to investigate why our internet went down at the same time they installed? They said that they did nothing to cause that. We waited 5 days to make out and also install the third TV that was promised. The second tech gave things a lookover and said, once again, that there is nothing unusual during their passage to cause the problem.

    (3) called Suddenlink. They said it was the router. Called the people of Netgear. They said that the router was too old. We needed to pay an exorbitant sum for support and when I told him I'd rather just buy a new router and get free technical support for 90 days... and I personally do not have the credit cards in that time. (it's my mother s equip and I wonder it for the computer) when the guy told me that he could help and hung up on us, even though I was pleading for him to wait until I put my mother on the phone. (I'm in my 40s... not a kid).

    (4) Suddenlink called a few days later, when we got a new router (netgear brand NO!) Installed and I noticed that the 'ready' light was not 'on' on the modem. Their technology has said that he would check and call us in a few minutes. He did not.

    (5) the next day I called Suddenlink AGAIN. This time, I got a really nice customer service agent. She said she would send someone to check on it. It turns out that they had disconnected when I had called to pass only the TV.

    (6) in any case, we are finally online... only now... I can't the printer to work. :-(  This has worked before.  Could it be caused by the different router? I don't know about these things. I didn't even know what it was until someone at Radio Shack has explained to me. (I was not about to buy one at Wal-Mart - these poor people). The printer is a Canon Pixma MX340. We love him. The only thing is that it is difficult to clear the tasks or to reset. The only way to really do that is to simply pull the plug, unfortunately and restart the computer. But hey, it's a great printer, better than HP.

    We are under vista. The router is a Linksys wifi (which we have) N300 model E900.

  • Problem with vertical scroll bar of the block master detail

    Have a TC of canvas by tabs with 3 tabs - tab A, B and C

    Tab C contains a block of master child multi. Each block can display 5 records.

    -> Master Block can display 5 records

    -> Child block can show 5 records. Child block has nearly 20 columns to display. It is therefore a big canvas

    It comes with vertical toolbars on Master Block and child block.

    The horizontal toolbar works very well.

    But if there are more than 5 records, we are not able to scroll the vertical toolbar.

    Remember reading somewhere that for a block of single bar scrolling can be active. Please specify if this is correct and indicate what are the appropriate actions that we can take.

    You have a separate master and detail block, right scroll bar?

    If so, then which bar scroll creating problem for you, master? detail? or both?

    Make sure you have the block with the appropriate scroll bar card, it can possible you have set the bar of scrolling detail with master block and main scroll bar with detail block.

    It is not correct.

    You used the scroll bar with individual block. There is no restriction.

  • The mouse scroll wheel doesn't work does not correctly?

    Everything worked fine but I had to reformat & return my computer again the conditions of the plant.  I have add the correct software for my mouse.  Now, when I use the scroll wheel, it moves the screen a full coming soon page (spreadsheet, word processing, etc.).  The unique thing is that I can say that she does so ONLY with products at Microsoft (Excel & Word so far), with any other software, it seems to work as it should (a few lines at a time).  No one knows what is the cause?  Help please.

  • I have a problem with the computer work is not correctly after you install the KB2753842 update.

    This update of windows has been installed automatically today (22/12/2012) as the (successful with this date) shows on the Page update.  Since that it has been installed, the computer is constantly read/write on the disc at 100% at all times (i.e. non-stop).  Performance is significantly degraded.  I rebooted several times, whenever the system shows the updates are being configured on tap-dwon and commissioning.  I want to reinstall the update because I think that it was not successful, even if the display update Page shows successful installation.  When I try to find and remove the update under the Panel of control-> program and features-> Windows updates, this update is NOT displayed (latest updates are 13/12/2012).  How can I remove and reinstall this security update?  It is a BIG problem at the moment.  Computer is almost non-functional.  Thnx.

    Nirmal S, thank you.  System Restore did the trick.  I restored prior update checkpoint and then the system automatically re-installed the latest update (which is one I had a problem with).  Problem solved!  My computer working again 'normally '.

  • problem with horizontal scroll bar

    I have two scroll bars in my form. The form is retrieving data from the database and showing 20 records at a time. But whenever I use my vertical scroll bar, horizontal scrollbar sometimes moves in the left corner of extream.

    The one you suggest please how can I fix this problem.

    Your scrollbars are window scroll bars? Or as I guess that the portrait is a block scroll bar and the horizontal is a canvas/window scroll bar.

    The horizontal scroll bar will move only if a current point of view gets the focus. Make sure that your home is not far jump to an item.

    Hi, because it works in Mode safe, pointing to an add-on or theme that is not compatible.

    Start Firefox normally, and then disable any topic and the modules one by one until you find the culprit - Manager of modules additional (Ctrl + Shift + A) > appearance/Extensions. You may need to restart Firefox after you disable some of them.

    A few days ago I received a call from PC assistants saying they were Windows operating system support. They tell me that they have noticed that I had many requests from spam junk that was slowing down my computer. Unfortunately, as I had a big problem with my computer in time, I bit. I was very nervous about it at the time, but since I had so many problems with my computer and that you didn't know what to do, I fell prey to their plot. They talked to me in a 6 month contract for a fee of $99.00. After they have finished the maintenance on my computer, it worked very well, too gullible me thought: maybe they are legitimate.

    To reassure myself, I decided to call using my Norton Security System. Their technician checked my computer and found a few things that their technology did not that he should have done; such that no detected restore points, the registry was not cleaned (35 detected registry errors) and it did not remove some software malware browers (toolbars).

    On his recommendation, I recalled PC assistants. The first tech I talked didn't seem to know what he was doing, so I hung up with him and sent their support line and ask them to address these problems or I would withdraw the payment from my credit card. Almost immediately after sending the e-mail, another technician called me. Unknowingly, I had all ready filed a dispute with my credit card company. I intend to cancel the service, but I am still concerned by some spyware detected on my computer. What is the best way for me to handle this? How can I get authenic proof that I was definitely scammed and I should report it to the Internet Crime Center? Using my computer for a few basic daily functions, must not be so stressful!  Any constructive guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.

    You gave them remote access and if you do Internet banking, contact your bank, explain, and change passwords.

    If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.

    And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

    My Internet connection works, I can ping and connect on msn, but in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Web pages are not accessible or are not displayed. I have tons of updates from windows that could not install successfully including SP2 and .net framework 3.5
    Protected-mode Windows works fine incl. Internet.
    I corrected the registry with registry Uniblue - did not help.

  • I have a problem with the computer is slow and does not file.

    1 of my pc and 1 another laptop, both with same OS - win 7 starter, atom and same ram and Ghz processor.

    The the Task Manager on the two of them performing at about 50%
    I use wifi and same place,
    always pages on my pc are load too late, manyatimes same gmail takes more than an hour to load or load never at all.
    Live TV on my pc crashes a lot and the clarity of the video is too bad, although the same graphics card, wifi, etc. are used.
    Any recommendation to get rid of these problems?

    According to my knowledge, 2 of my PC are infected and the virus are not getting detected by bitdefender on my PC1 but 4 threats have been detected on the laptop...
    The same files are include the other way on my other pc.
    Whenever I open the files, save option opens and a new file is saved with the file tha but they never get to open in word or powerpoint, only the backup option is displayed.

    201310131003535. I mentioned that somewhere I had formatted the USB key. Just before that, I had copied all files by selecting CTRL A and cut all the files in a directory on my PC. Then I opened the USB and no files were there. But always around 4 GB has been shown as being busy on the USB stick before formatting.

    Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

    Remove everything they find.  Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

    Search online with eSet Online Scanner. Remove all lies.
