• Problems with video playback in PE4

  I did the project using MPEG Streamclip to create video clips in AVI format and then using these clips in projects of PE4.  I add some titles and burn a DVD and I started.  I tried to do one of those bills yesterday, and now it does not work.  I was able to use MPEG Streamclip to create my clips.  Then I opened a project in PE4 and import 27 clips (total time 6 minutes).  I created my titles and went to read the Bill and it will not playback.  Then, PE4 crashes and takes me in the program ("... because Adobe close...)

  I can't return to the project I've tried several times.

  To my knowledge on my computer, nothing changed a few months when I did my last project of this type.  I have 408 GB of free space on my hard drive and 2 GB of RAM, so I think that Wouln't's question.

  I've updated my software Quicktime yesterday, and that made no difference.

  Any suggestions?

  There is a limit on the amount of physical RAM PrE can use. There is also a limit on the amount of physical RAM a 32 bit OS can see and use, and also how he can use. Once you reach these limits (they may also differ for the program), will more zero for performance, it is not accessible and might even interfere with the ability of the OS to see what he can see.

With AVCHD and a few other highly compressed formats/CODECS, the role of the CPU and i/o are reversed. In my observations, RAM still runs third in this equation, but it is always important.

  A NLE computer is a complex beast, with things infrequently, which gives great advantages (such as this article on the setting to the top of his computer), or when the changes major performance perks. Addressing all aspects, IO, CPU and RAM are the best way to approach it. It would be with AVCHD, CPU, i/o and RAM, in that order. All are important and to varying degrees, each will get the observable performance improvements.

  Getting back to your question about RAM, within the limits of your BONES, your programs and your motherboard, the performance increases will be there, but probably not very dramatic. They are there, but a mere observer might not be aware of them. Passing a drive HARD internal three and distribute properly to show them more quickly and be more noticeable. Go with a faster processor will do the same, if you can't see this helping hand to certain operations, such as rendering. With the media and sustainable development projects, improvement of I/O will get the biggest "bang for the buck."

• PROBLEM WITH NETBOOK! Help, please

  Whenever I try to playback video, it has the red and yellow bars vertically above my video.   Whevener I put something in my video. Through it be either A fraps recorded video or a video shot by my camera... I put in the library and drag it to the stage. and when I play the video right in the first remains as a still image, but audio playback. It does this with 2 methods I tried (Fraps and my Photosmart M537 camera). I asked my uncle (who had the same issues with the CS3 version) and he said that something wrong with the Codec of theres sure hes. I think it's because when I put my video I had recorded with Hypercam 2. It has worked well. Could someone help me please?

  I am currently working on my new project in Redcode 4.5 k shoot and I got in big trouble export my movie.

  I tried to export the movie to the H.264 format / HDTV 1080 p 25f and there was NO noise or a sound terrible when I looked the exported movie!

  Can it be a problem that I copied a number of sequenzes varius in a sequence? I did it because I wanted to have a sequence where I can put the pieces together.

  Maybe that's the problem!

  DAS Filmmateriao das ich wurde auf einer bearbeite redone Redcode Codec quality 4.5 k.

  Kann're breast dass der nicht ist weil ich fertig einzelne possible export sequences kopiert habe und einer neuerstellten sequence zusammengefügt habe, eine quasi sequence as scenes standing habe um sie fertig sleeps aus the other scenes-sequences zusammenzustellen.

  Hello! Welcome to the forums here at Adobe!

  As long as you can hear the sound when you play through your final sequence, you should have no problems to export as long as your audio options are correctly set in your export Panel. Nesting of the sequences that you have described is a very common task and will not at all affect your audio files.

  Make sure that your "Export the Audio" checkbox is checked in the window of your export. If this isn't the case, then that would explain your problems. If it is checked, then there may be something more deep as the cause, in which case it would be helpful if you could post us screenshots of your table of sound mixing and the head section of your audio tracks in the timeline panel.

  Also make sure that you're using Adobe PrPro 5.5 and that you have all the updates correct, including the RED importer, as the new RED files do not work in older versions of first. If files were shot on the RED Epic, sound doesn't work at all in native file (known bug) first and so you will have to use program Cine - X RED to export audio files to make separately and synchronize with your video. However, you would never get audio in your timeline at all, and so I think you would have noticed this problem before that you have to export, so I think that's not your problem.

  Good luck and report what you find with your export settings!

• Problem with video playback USB OTP-S185

  Before I bought the S185, I tested my laptop hard drive to an S590.  All formats video my played fine.  Now on the S185, mp4 files created by my Sony EX1R camera cannot be found or read.  I copied the files exactly as they were created. There is a dated folder name, a file BPAV folder CLP, a marked media file, then the media file with other metadata. What is the problem?  Yet once the S590 has no problem finding and reading it.  According to specifications, both players have the same format, reading ability. I tried updating the drive and it did not help.

  I'm trying to convert a MOV video in FLV or F4V format, using Media Encoder and then place the FLV video on my Captivate project for viewing.  But my converted video is coming to the course with audio only.  Is there a way to solve this problem and get the file to read correctly?

  I have experimented with a number of different outputs from the Media Encoder, but no matter what put me in the library and place it on my blade, I can't play.  Sometimes, I'm just one black box, other times I get a black box with audio only.

  OK, I found a solution a little goofy, but it works and is now my new workflow!

  I can download the MOV files on my YouTube account and then download it in MP4.

  In captivity then imports the MP4 movies successfully.

  Still not sure why the Media Encoder could not handle the conversion, but it was apparently the problem.

  I have a series of video files that are introduced by using a text box. The goal of the project is marketing so let's publish it to mp4. When I publish my text time very well, but when the video starts, it does not play, the chronology continues to move forward then video captures just play right were shows of the Player bar. This occurs for each of 4 videos that I currently have in my folder. I tried the setting procedure for the video files such as streaming or progressive download.

  Please try to add the video on each slide as a video event (if you're not distribute to multiple slides) and then publish it on mp4.

  If the step above does not help then try to add a video to a new test project, publish mp4, and then check the result.
