  It looks like a known issue reported here:

  There was a workaround solution posted, but I have not tested it myself. Here are the steps.

  1. Go to the Yahoo Messenger Options - change the window in the tab menu and press OK.
  2. Then go back and switch to the small window and press OK.

  Once the bug is resolved formally, you could try to run every night or Aurora build to use the hotfix at the beginning.

• BDP-S570 has problems with Amazon Instant Video

  Hi, I have a Blu - Ray of S570 player.  I have cable internet to ~ 30 MB/s download speed and it is the only device on the network.  For the last month, I had problems with streaming movies.  I rented 2 movies from Amazon Instant Video and would freeze and require buffering several times to the places where UN watchable videos.  Another time I tried to watch a video of "TMZ" and he would not play and kept out me.

  I am able to watch a video on my computer without any problem and one I run a speed test on my network when the buffering occurs and it says 30 MB/Sec.

  Any suggestions?

  Just FYI - cat'd with Amazon.  They said to de-register with Amazon and re - register again...  She was very confident, that might solve my problem so she must know something... but I do not know for sure until I have try again tonight...

  I took a snapshot today at 22:11 THIS, then I was going to consolidate with delete everything in the Snapshot Manager, but it gave an error message, same as last time.

  So, my next step was to stop the virtual machine and clone.

  But before starting I wanted to remove the old files som pre the same virtual machine cloning a couple of weeks. I have inexplicable management agents and would try to delte for a sesion ssh (I hade some problems with it not be possible to delte them).

  But stupid stupid me has managed to remove the snapshot of the vm of production 3 files, dc2.ourdomain.no - 000001 - ctk.vmdk' and clone.dc2.barentsnett.no - 000003.vmdk. I think it is old clichés, but of course now the virtual machine does not start and I problaby f * d.

  My support contract with vmware do not apply this late at night so I can not get help there before tomorrow morning when all the inhabitants of the officees arrives.

  All I could think was tipping to the replica that was taken at aprox. 05:00 this morning. It worked very well, but of course all the work done by a large number of people and companies the hole is missing.

  I have problems with my ancestry Family Tree Maker 2012 program.  I have contacted ancestry and have tried everything they suggested a fix.  Maybe they thought THAT FTM crashed in windows.  When I click on the FTM icon on my desk a message appears indicating that FTM was badly closed the last time.  He suggests to compact the file, but I can't get open FTM to do this.  The message keeps telling me that Windows has detected a problem and he'll let know me if a solution is found.  When I right click the icon FTM the menu has "inconsistent application" at the top.  When I used the resolution of Windows problems he also indicated an incompatible application.  FTM was working great for me.  Inproper closing was caused by a power failure while I was with FTM.  My computer is a lot of work and is common to the updates being FTM.

• Problems DELL SAS MD3000 ESXi 4.1 U1

  We run a Vmware Cluster 2 node. This configuration 2 non-redundant host with 2 single port in the DELL MD3000 raid controllers. Each node has a single cable to its own port unique on the MD3000 raid controller. There is a shared LUN that the two hosts using as a common data store.

  The problem is that on the two hosts 2 we contstant receive advice such as:

  "Path frequent changes of State are producing for the vmhba2:C0:T0:L3 path." This may indicate a problem of storage. "Device assigned:

  These comments that we receive on the two hosts ESXi. Performance of the guests is very poor.

  For a test on a single host, I moved all the VMS to a secondary data store (iSCSI). Performance in events where to go after this problem. But when I start to go trough the client data store vSphere problems appear almost instantly.

  It seems that the 2 controllers are fighting for control of records

  I think I found my answer in another post but want to confirm, we run VMware ESX 4.x in our dev environment and I have tried using snapshots as a Setup program is being tested - so we can return to a clean server, because scripts are modified and tested.

  ' Go to ' should be explicit enough already, although I can understand how some can be confused with the option 'delete '.

  First, it is important to understand the functioning of the snapshots. New to virtualization assumes that there is a kind of copy but this isn't how it works. When you create a snapshot, it only creates a new file of virtual disk of delta containing only the changes since the snapshot was created. The original vmdk file will be marked read-only, and all entries will go to your delta file.

  As you the thought, "Deleting" a snapshot with VMware terms delta is merged into the original vmdk and you will not be able to return to the previous state more.

  ' Go to ' or 'come back' will change to the selected state when a snapshot was created. This also effectively "removes" or rather ignores the current delta running, then you will not be able to re - return to this new State unless you create another cliché. Instead a new empty delta is created with the ignition and filled with subsequent changes. So that means also means your snapshot is not "removed" when you come back, as it will just start from 0.

• Cannot log on to old AOL account via iTunes

  Finally, I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 6 9 yesterday, which has deleted all my songs that I have not purchased from iTunes on my iPhone (thanks Apple!). Not a big problem as all my music is on my computer. However, when I synced my music to my iPhone, there were 25 songs that were not authorized on this computer.

  After spending some time trying to understand the problem, I realized that these songs are attached to my old AOL account, at the time where AOL accounts have been integrated into iTunes. The problem is, AOL has long since been deleted, so it won't let me log on. I tried to connect with [email protected] and that said, the computer has been authorized for this account, but it would not play the songs. I think I need to to connect directly via AOL to access these songs, however I can do that because my account no longer exists.

  Anyone know how I can get back the access to these songs? Some of them are quite large and the last thing I want to do is give Apple $20 for the music I already own.

  If you specify that when AOL user names have been eliminated, you went to your Apple account with that name to AOL for the ID user, and you edited it to a valid email address? Or was it automatically converted by Apple after the date limit. If you did not convert it, try the other variations that could be used to convert the ID, as described in this article:

• Bookmarks are missing from the list tab so much my favorite and I do not know if this was caused by the plugin or due to lack of space in my internal HD. Help, please?

  Dear community, I promise that I will try to be as concise as possible. I am really desperate for help! I read absolutely everything about missing bookmarks, but as you can see my problem also concerns the sliders and Google are different on the screen.

  It all started that day that I was running short on storage in my boarding school HD all of a sudden my computer showed that I had 0 KB available, and I just deleted some big mov files and restarted the computer. After the reboot, I opened FF and noticed that my favorites were missing and so has my reading list - my reading list is stored using the ReadItLater plugin (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/read-it-later/). I tried to google solutions for my problem and realized that something was strange the way the results have been posted.

  So, I made some screenshots because it's really hard to explain what happens in writing, so please take a look:

  3. now take a look at how Google is the display of the results on FF! The text appears in black/green when it is really supposed to be displayed in blue/green/black! I tried to reinstall FF again once already and I also deleted and reinstalled FF but I never deleted personal profile which is located in the library folder information. In addition, tried to back up and replace the profile folder but my computer does not allow me. I received a message saying that it was not possible to copy the file places.sqlite - wal. I did a search on this subject and I can say that I never had a double profile. Help, please? I'm desperate and I can't lose my playlist of my favorites!

• Firefox crashes every time I try and open

  Verification of the accident report and the associated bug report, this may be due an index damaged in the database file that stores bookmarks. To test this situation, you can force Firefox to create a new bookmark file, and in the process, it has to import your bookmarks from a backup file.

  First, you will need to find your profile folder, follow the instructions to search for a profile in Firefox 3.5 article profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data .

  Once in the places.sqlite profile folder and rename it to places.sqlite.old, then try to start Firefox. It should create a new places.sqlite file and import your bookmarks from the last backup file. This should hopefully solve your problem.
